Our experience with this company has been horrible in my opinion. When we hired them, we asked them to throw away any trash in the bathrooms only. We were just moving into the house and had already brought over several car loads full of items. When we came back home after the cleaners were done, to our utter shock, our entire house was empty. The cleaners had taken everything...framed family photos, computers, speakers, jewelry, flowers, food...the house was empty. Even though we had only told them to clean the kitchen and the bathrooms, they had proceeded to remove everything from the house. They never called or texted to ask for clarification if they were confused about what to take. When we called the company to tell them that all our belongings were missing, they initially denied taking anything, but we luckily have cameras all over the house and had footage of them taking everything. They eventually admitted that they did take all of our stuff but said it was a mistake. They brought most of our possessions back in black garbage bags, but we still had items missing, including brand new housewarming orchids that were thrown in the trash and food from the fridge. Notably, we had an expensive speaker missing, and we witnessed one of the cleaners actually taking the speaker out from her purse when confronted by police in our home. We are still missing a very expensive ring that was on the counter when the cleaners were there, but was gone, just like everything else, when we returned. The ring was never returned to us. My experience with one of the managers or owners (Scott Whittle) of the company about this entire situation has been extremely unnerving to me. He has accused me of extortion, when I simply said that I intend to press charges if the ring is not recovered. That is not extortion; I have a right to press charges if my property was taken without my permission. He also suggested that his employees wanted to confront me at my place of work but that he advised them to "act professionally." I'm honestly worried about my safety at this point. And the most bizarre thing happened; he accused me of racism out of absolutely no where. No customer should feel this way after hiring a cleaning company to clean their home, and then coming to an empty home with all of your belongings missing. I will obviously never use this company again, nor can I recommend them to anyone else. read more

Look out Salt Lake! We have a new excellent service available! My company has hired Certain Clean for cleaning out a rented office space before turning it back over to the owner. We are so excited by how available and eager they have been! I'm grateful for the work they put in, and I will upload pictures as soon as I can. The workers we had working in this building (our construction crew) left it astonishingly dirty. We're talking gross. Where we were unable to succeed in cleaning it after they left, Certain Clean went above and beyond and really saved our behinds! They come HIGHLY recommended from me, and I will be spreading the word with my colleagues for upcoming projects. Please don't hesitate to work with them; they are kind, hardworking, and an enthusiastic option for your cleaning service needs. I have had several different cleaning services in the past, and I've finally found my favorite! I had such a good experience with them the first time I hired them a year ago, and I was SURE that the second time couldn't possibly be as awesome as it was the first time. Well, friends, it was better! I will attach photos of their incredible work. The staff are friendly and efficient and very VERY thorough, and their communication over text was clear and polite. I am sad that the last person found them to be unsatisfactory, because I can assure you--you won't find a better service them this anywhere in the Salt Lake Valley! I just signed up for a regular cleaning from, and I am so excited to have the biggest part of home maintenance off my brain! And happy to have found cleaners I trust. I wish I could give them negative star. I rented a property and moved out lask week. I requested a deep cleaning. After cleaning, the landlord checked the next few days, here are what she said ?All came with pictures? 1. This is what I just got off of the counter by the sink. 2. Hair, dirt and dust left on floors, sinks, tubs, walls. You saw a quick overview of the lack of cleaning that crew did. 3. Black dirt on closet rods they did not clean. 4. Dust, dirt and cob webs in almost all rooms. 5. "Cleaning" crew did not wipe off dust, splatter or drip Mark's on doors, trim, walls or floors. 6. Crew did not do the simplest, standard wiping away of dust, dirt, hair, and grime. 7. Two rooms still had cob webs on the walls. Bathroom mirrors, faucets, drains not even wiped clean. 8. Floors that should have been swept or vacuumed thoroughly, then washed clean of dusk. The owner was also lack of communication, professional, caring, and patience. If you need the service, my only advice: RUN AWAY!!! read more

I asked for a quote for a deep cleaning on a vacant home. I indicated that I only wanted 8 hours of cleaning. They did not show up to the appointment. Then will I called them, they said they would still come out at a later time. They did, but then billed me for 10 hours. They did not do a very good job and left numerous parts of the house dirty. They said that is all they could get done in a 10 hour time frame. The house is only 1600sf and was not that dirty. When I brought this to their attention they immediately called me a liar and said the they would be taking me to court. I asked if they could come back out to finish the areas they didn't do (since their ad says satisfaction guaranteed) but they said I would have to pay another 30 and hour per cleaner. When I asked for a discount they said they would only give me 10% off. They sent me numerous unprofessional texts within 30 minutes of my call saying that they would see me in court. I told them I wanted to get this resolved rather than threaten me with a lawsuit, but they said they were already preparing paperwork to sue me. Remember this was on a Saturday within 30 minutes of my call. It is unbelievable! I have never been treated this way. It is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.
