Would like to give them a good review, but unfortunately I can't. Have been trying (unsuccessfully, mind you) for the last week to get the painters to come back out and actually COMPLETE the job that they were paid to do. See pictures below of the quality of work done in the kitchen. Terrible. They also painted the front door but did not use any primer first, so the original color still shows through with streaking. They painted the deck of my upstairs neighbor and requested access to my deck to paint the underside of hers. I just arrived at my beach condo to find paint everywhere on my deck. clearly they did no masking as there are paint spatters all over the trim and glass of my sliding doors. As a side note, I tried to hire them to paint my deck when they were doing the same for my upstairs neighbor. Promised quotes and follow-up never happened; over a 48-hour period, several follow-up texts to the same person were met with requests to resend the same information previously sent and no acknowledgement of prior conversations. it was surreal. This seems to be a very sloppy company with poor customer service. read more

We used CertaPro twice to paint the inside of our home and the outside trim. They are excellent in their painting, trimming and clean up. It's great to have your rooms painted and cleaned up within a short period to time so you can get back to your life with a fresh look. We highly recommend them for you painting needs. Outstanding service and job end-to-end. We needed a sizable interior paint job done after we purchased our home. Our sales associate, Jeff, was professional, timely, and honest. He even came by personally to inspect the job while it was in progress to make sure everything was going smoothly. He also communicated with me regularly to keep me up to date on how things were going. The team did a great job on the details - we're so pleased with how every room turned out. Expensive low quality work . During the job I shared my concerns with the painters and contacted the owner regarding paint on trim ceilings and carpet... a few areas were touched up...but horrible work overalll....impossible to check everywhere...they demaded payment and left.. HORRIBLE ... In addition to poor workmanship bad quality paint you CANNOT wipe of. STREAKS...marks basically permanrnt.... OMG....If you want a catastrophe thousands and thousands of square feet...by all means hire this company. Everytime I clean I find more and more and more paint on the baseboards .....HORRIBLE. Poor communication; slow or no replies to calls and emails. Scheduling issues - they changed date of service on us via email that did not work for us and it took some persistence to get them on the phone to correct the date. Even after that, the painters arrived a day early unexpectedly; luckily we were home and available. Job took two days instead of one as quoted. Several paint runs and paint smeared on other surfaces that needed to be cleaned. We were old someone would be calling to schedule a time fix paint runs but as soon we paid them, they never called back. We got tired of dealing with them. We will look elsewhere the next time we need paint work done. read more

Certa Pro Painters of Delaware was terrific twice! First they completed outside painting on our newly acquired home in North Wilmington. They were there on the date, on time, at exactly 8:00 AM. They completed the job in one day, not leaving till I had a walk through for some touchups I wanted done. The next one was better. We were doing major work on the interior of the house so we were "camping out" (with minimal furniture), working around kitchen/bath contractor, plumbers, electricians and the big job of a new hardwood floor in the living room and sanding all the hardwood floors in the other 6 rooms. I worked with Maria at the office, pushing the date forward which was to our great benefit. They (Cory) had made a promise they would be done painting the whole house in one week: Monday to Friday. They finished in four days, Monday to Thursday! What a crew lead by Luis! Masterful job: all the walls, all the ceilings, all the trim in a seven room house plus one room in the basement. On time, polite, papered all the floors, vacuumed completely at the end cleanup, walked around with me for any touchups. I would definitely use them again because they have so many on their staff they can add people to complete each job on time. Great job guys!! Mike F. read more

I was disappointed in this company. I had several problems with the job when they finished- paint splatters, windows sealed shut, and many paint chips left from the power washing. They did come back to fix these things but it took several hours of my time to coordinate, and when they came back there was much confusion due to a language barrier. I assumed that the franchise owner would give me some sort of discount for my troubles but he felt that an apology was all that was necessary. If you screw up you should remedy it and pay for the time you put me out. I will respect that, otherwise I see a problem with the company. read more

I contacted 3 painters for estimates and Certa Pro was the only one who provided a timely estimate. It was a difficult process getting an estimate from the other 2. Jeff Garvey from Certa Pro came to the house when promised, went over the project thoroughly taking notes as we proceeded and then provided his estimate and contract outlining the specifics of the project within 2 days. Certa Pro was also the only painter I contacted that had an office staff who could be contacted for info without receiving an answering machine. Any questions I had were answered immediately. The scheduling was a bit difficult due to the weather pattern of rain each day but as soon as the weather presented a favorable day the painters appeared promptly at 8 am to start. Because the weather forecast wasn't favorable for much of the week Certa Pro assigned more painters to the project and completed it in 2 days. They worked full days and cleaned my property thoroughly before leaving. The painters were polite, professional and took pride in their work. Their fee for the work was very reasonable. They used a good quality paint from Sherwin Williams. They made the whole process from beginning to end a pleasure. I would definitely use them again. read more
