Not only am I his patient, I have personally seen him perform surgical procedures on other patients in the past. He is thoughtful, attentive plus his surgical and aseptic techniques are spot on (I work in the O.R.). I even arrived waaay too early for my appt. and he still saw me! While Going over my X-rays and discussing possible approaches to my surgical procedure he made sure I understood what to expect. The staff here is extremely friendly- even offering me something to read as I sat in the room waiting for Dr Beyer to see me next. Everyone was friendly- I really enjoyed seeing those smiling faces. Dr Beyer's office sits in a plaza with other medical offices facing the street, making it an easy find. Parking has never been an issue and his office has always been very clean. Spot on! I was seen very quickly when I arrived, given x-rays in office and treated so nicely by the kind office staff. Dr. Beyer has awesome bedside manner and was super careful when handling my tender foot. He explained my injury and gave me an outlook on what to expect. We tried a non-invasive treatment that was helpful but didn't cure the issue. Finally got the guts to schedule the surgery - and very glad I did. Dr. Cruz took time to explain the surgery ahead of time and what to expect after. He was spot on correct - there was no pain after surgery and everything is healing up as he explained. She always listens to my mom and provides great care. My mom says she is worth driving to South Tampa from USF lol. The waiting room and exam facilities are clean. The front staff are always pleasant and helpful. We've rarely had to wait more than 15 min to be called in which is remarkable compared to most healthcare providers. Regardless of vaccination status, masks are required even in the waiting area. Unlike most of South Tampa, there is adequate parking. If you want to get good podiatric care and you are close to De Leon, consider Ankle and Foot!
