I wasted 6…read moremonths being gaslit and told "my gut feeling is nothing is wrong with your foot" and after finally requesting an MRI and being told I would only need the boot for a week or two, it turns out I have a plantar plate injury. When I asked if this was a possibility six weeks ago, I was told it wasn't possible. Please don't make the same mistake I made, trust YOUR gut. Now I wait six more weeks to see if I need surgery. Very frustrating and disappointing.
