I would not recommend Certified Green Team. I had a sectional, two sofas, and two chairs cleaned, and the entire job was completed in about 35 minutes. For comparison, my sectional alone has taken other companies over an hour to clean properly. The technicians did not remove some of the cushions, did not clean the backs of the furniture, and left without reviewing the work with me. What was especially frustrating was that they asked for payment and a tip before the job was even completed and then left without letting me know they were finished. The furniture was left soaking wet, and now my couch has a mildew smell that was never there before. Since the appointment, I have called four times asking for someone to come back and address the issues, but no one has returned my calls. This was one of the most unprofessional service experiences I have had. I wish I had read the reviews more carefully before booking, because I would never have used this company. I am extremely disappointed with this company's service. They came out to clean my dryer vent for $300. It seemed to be working fine when I reviewed it. Two days later, when I tried to use it, the dryer displayed '95% vent full' again. I called the company to come back and blow it out again, and was stood up three different times -- each appointment was confirmed, yet no one ever showed up or even called to explain or reschedule. I would call, and they would say they didn't have the correct phone number or that it wasn't scheduled, with no apology. This kind of lack of professionalism and reliability is unacceptable. If I wanted shampoo, it will be $500 and if I opted for deep clean it will be $1000. Uhm... $1000?!, screw that, I had to ask him to go down. I ended up paying $550 for a true deep clean. The most stressful part was reading these reviews only after my rug got picked up. I thought I would never see the light of day and I already paid half for down payment. Lo and behold, it arrived three weeks later and it was....fine. Technician arrived 2 hours later, but whatever. I guess what I'm trying to say is if you're anxious scrolling through reviews right now, wondering if you're precious rug will come back, it will. (Given that you're based in New York). I believe they have different contractors for each state. SF folks sound like their rugs come back as well (but stinky). Mine was fine, so hang in there. First they said they'd be there between 10-12, but at 9:45 informed us they would be there at between 1-3. We had traveled to our place of business and had to return at 1. Then at 1, we were informed they would be there between 2:30-3:00. They did not arrive until about 3:40. It took about an hour and a half to clean the carpet. I was given an appointment window for today Sunday Dec. 22, 2024 between 9am-11am. 11am came and went and I figured I would wait until 11:30 just in case the technician was delayed by a previous job or possible traffic. I called the number that I called to make the original appointment and the young lady said she was going to relay the message to the technician. As promised, a man called me about 10 minutes later and let me know that the original technician that was supposed to arrive was delayed and that he would be coming in his place but that it wouldn't be until 5pm-7pm. I said that would be fine and that I would run my errands until that time, since I had not left the house waiting for them. He then proceeded to ask me the size of the area rug, which is 5x7.5. He then asked me what services I needed for the rug and I let him know just a basic cleaning, this is where everything went left. He then began to say that he needed to take the rug to his warehouse and that it would be $750! I remind you that this was all over the phone during a 2 minute call and he had not even seen the area rug. I let him know that price was excessive for a small area rug that he had not even seen yet. We now have to hire another company to do deep cleaning on our carpet and couches. 3. They must not sanitize their equipment properly as I'm sneezing after. Absolutely terrible job! The person came into my house, told me it will cost more than I discussed on the phone and said I could only pay cash or Venmo. It took him 5-10 mins to wash my wool 10x15 rug with multiple stains that needed extra effort. When he finished he demanded I pay him and said he was in a rush. I said I would like to discuss this service with the comapny directly and refused to pay him $200 that he came up with when he arrived (on the phone, I was told $130). While I was on the phone with them he packed up and left and spilled a bunch of dirt water on my other rug in a hallway and the rest of it in my driveway. The. He took of his rubber gloves and threw them in my driveway as well. Long story short, avoid this comapny and their services by any means. I called them several times, they documented my experience and said I will be getting a call back soon. Once they resolve this I will remove this review. But as long as it's here, it means they never bothered to follow up on it and this comapny shouldn't exist. They arrive, diagnose and claim needs a deep clean which they quoted on the spot $400. The $69 is for the dryer vent only. When the service was done in less than 20 minutes, my dryer stopped drying clothes the following day. I called back about several times tying to arrange a follow up appointment. They confirmed someone will call in 24-48 hours, on 2 different occasions. I was ignored. Each time I called, it goes to voicemail. Once I got a hold of them through another line, they had the audacity to hang up on me. They are unreliable and I'm not sure if they even did a good deep clean job. The unethical part of it was when I called and the agent (Patrick) asked me how much I paid for the service and what method I used to pay? RED FLAG. When the man came to clean he told us steam cleaning would not clean the furniture it would just get rid of orders. He said if we wanted the furniture to look clean we would have to pay over $500.
