Kurt is one of the nicest, most honest mechanics you'll ever meet. My parents have been going to him since I was a kid, and when I was buying a car I took the ones I looked at to him to get checked out. Jim told me it was a blower on my 2015 Audi Q7 after he checked it out. He told me it'll be $292 for the part and labor so I paid him $200 to order the part. So today I go let him put the blower on it takes him maybe an 1 1/2. After the 1 1/2 he comes in and tells me he thinks it's the regulator and that'll be another $240 at this point I don't want to pay that I could've went to Audi for all that I just pay $92 for the labor. I'm like wow but you never mind. So before he put the new blower in my air and heat was coming on. After I get in turn my car on and see if the air at least comes on it don't. So I go to Jim like what happened it's not even coming on now! He's dancing all around my question at this point. So I ask him can you please just put my old one back on. I'll pay you $92 labor fee he says NO he's only putting a regulator on after I order. I'm like at this point you're not touching my car period then. I'm 38 hot now so I just leave. After I get home I text him and say: If you're 90% sure that it's the regulator. Why you didn't just order the part? Put it on let me see that it works then let me pay. And that I'll be contacting BBB no response to my text. So all that fair and honest stuff they talking on here is bs! He's a liar and a ass hole that don't stand behind his work. read more
