Very disappointing experience…read more A month or two ago, we had tires mounted, the TPMS sensor replaced, and the tires balanced at this shop. Shortly after leaving, the vehicle started wobbling around 60-65 mph. At first, we assumed it was just the road, but the issue continued. Recently, the TPMS sensor failed again, and we had to put the spare tire on. While doing that, we discovered that we were missing lug nuts and that all of our hubcaps were barely secured. That was extremely concerning, especially considering the work that had recently been done. We drove back to the store to address the issue, and instead of being met with an effort to resolve the problem, the owner came out with an attitude and immediately stated that nothing would be covered under warranty and that we would have to pay full price. I understand that issues can happen, but the way this situation was handled was extremely disappointing. After paying to have the tires installed, balanced, and a TPMS sensor replaced, finding missing lug nuts and improperly secured hubcaps is not something I would expect. The lack of accountability and customer service made this experience even worse. Didn't even offer to replace the missing lug nut. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this shop.

Went in for an overall check on our suv since it had been a while for anything but an oil change…read more When we received our estimate it was over $7k! A little surprising since we hadn't seen any serious issues. We decided to just have an engine light issue repaired and process when to repair the other problems. In the end we had another mechanic check over the issues the Griffis mechanic found. Ended up that two of those issues were not issues at all. What would have been over $1,100 of overcharged, unneeded repairs. Some of the lesser repairs I did myself. I doubt that Griffis was trying to dupe us with unneeded repairs but possibly the mechanic wasn't as experienced as needed. Consequently we're unlikely to use Griffis again.

Don't be mislead, they are as crooked as the rest of the auto shops and dealerships.They put women at the front desk so as a male customer as most men are the ones interacting with auto shops so basically one is put in a situation where you can't complain or dispute a repair jobs or the illegal markups on their repairs .They treat you right one time or twice at first but they will fraudulently take your money on the next go around.
