Finally decided to replace my 5 year old tires after one went flat. I don't drive much but even so they were getting "Dry Rot". Went to their website and ordered a set of four new tires and made an appointment (Tuesday 10:45am). When I parked my car I was immediately greeted and helped, literally felt like valet service lol. After about 15 mins they drove my car into the shop and installed the fresh tires, whole process was less than an hour. The staff was friendly and prompt. The building had ample waiting room with really comfy seats. There's a window where you can sit and see your car being worked on, the only thing missing is an ice cold beer :) Side Note: My spare tire was actually half flat and they even inflated that without me asking. BUYER BEWARE DISCOUNT TIRE in Clermont does NOT honor their warranty- that they charge for! Nor do they back their product! In April, Less than 10 months ago, I put $600 tires on my car and purchased the 3 year warranty and they are complete garbage, unsafe to drive. Today we took it today and they refused to honor their warranty, leaving me with less than 1 year old tires, that look like they are 5 years old!!! I normally dread bringing my car in for any work, and try to do everything at home myself. New tires are an obvious exception. I made an appointment Thursday night to come in on Friday at 5:30 PM. I bought 4 Road Hugger GTP AS/02 tires for my vehicle which they already had in stock. When it came time for my appointment, I arrived about 20 minutes early. The staff was friendly and very quick to find my appointment. Even though I was early, they took my keys and got started right away. I was able to watch the guys working on my car from the lobby. I noticed they had 2 young men working on my car- very carefully and efficiently. These guys had my car in and out with 4 new tires in about 45 minutes. I couldn't be more pleased. I spoke with Benjamin both by phone and in person--he clearly explained tire pricing and, more importantly, showed me the true wear on all four tires. He told me honestly that two of my tires still had good life left, which I greatly appreciated. No pressure--just integrity. I was told the service would take about an hour at 12:30 p.m., and right on cue, Sherman came to find me at 12:15 p.m. to let me know the work was nearly finished. At my request, he also checked the warning lights that had appeared on my dashboard and confirmed that everything was clear. One of my cars that my wife drives has been having some trouble after a couple of years service loosing a small amount air pressure when filled up to the proper pressure repeatedly . So one day when we were in the area, we stopped by to have them check it for us again. This time I explained to tire technician Sebastian what I was dealing with, and he took over right away, the task of solving the problem. Sebastian performed a text book perfect testing and repairing the issue for a perfect result for me and my wife. He inspected, tested, removed tire, repaired seal on rim and water tested the tire for any other possible leaks, and rebalanced, etc... to make sure that all was perfect. Great customer service! Came in to get my tire put back on the bead and left with 5 new 37inch Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT tires. Some guy had ordered them before me but unfortunately crashed his jeep before he had them installed. I was hesitant bc these are almost 500 dollars per tire.. and I need 5 for my jeep. Guy at the front desk brought them out for me to look at and compare to my other ones, fell in love but wanted to stick to my budget. Manager saw I was hesitant and offered to give me the 5th tire for free if I bought them same day. Needless to say I couldn't pass up the offer and they installed them in less than 30 minutes. They were very busy when I arrived, but I waited patiently until someone was able to check me in. Once that happened the process moved quickly. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. After needing new tires last year, I went to Discount Tire because of the reviews. I've been to 3 different locations now, and this one is the closest, the cleanest, and has a very friendly staff. I don't give Five-Star ratings very often, but the Clermont Discount Tire went above and beyond today -- repairing a tire my Mom and Dad didn't buy from them based solely on my long-term loyalty to the company on the west coast. Michael was friendly, professional and applied absolutely no sales pressure. He did warn me that the six to seven year old tires (with plenty of tread) are starting to show wear (cracking) on the sidewalls because of the Florida heat and constant exposure to direct sunlight. I already knew this is one of the leading causes of high-speed blow-outs here, but learned today that Michelin considers ten years to be the reasonable life of a tire in these conditions regardless of mileage. I returned today -- about a month after posting my initial impressions (above) and am every bit as impressed as my first visit. On this occasion, my sister and I returned to purchase four new tires based upon the quote provided to me about a month ago. Same great top-of-the-line tires, same great price (less a manufacturer's rebate that saved us another $70)! Although there were customers ahead of us, we were acknowledged right away and only waited a few minutes before a service representative confirmed both the price and availability of the tires we needed. We asked about making an appointment for later in the day or returning the next day too avoid waiting for the tires to be installed and the rep offered to check us in immediately so that when we returned half an hour later they could get us right in. We returned to my sister's house, picked up her car and returned to the shop about twenty minutes later and the new tires were installed in less than an hour! read more

I got there bright and early this morning after hitting something in the road that bent my wheel, causing my tire to go flatter by the second. Clint was happy to help me as soon as they opened at 8:00am and explained all my options to me with clear prices. I was out by 8:45 with a new wheel and freshly inflated tires. I've been a long-time customer and have never been disappointed. They take their customer service seriously. They offer great work and the tire warranty is for real. With as many sets of tires that I've purchased from this store I have always taken the full tire warranty. And I've never had to used it until today. We've all been in the flat tire situation, right. When it happened this time I realized...uh oh, there's a tear on the side of the tire which I'm sure makes it un-repairable. Then my next thought was "Crap! Is this covered???". After slapping on the spare tire on the car I head over to the shop. It wasn't busy and I was taken right in. My account was pulled up and Viola! the warranty covers all repairs and replacement, if it can't be repaired. After the tech did the visual inspection he confirmed it couldn't be fixed, however the tire would be replaced at no charge. I opted to pay the $20 for the warranty on the new tire - of course!! 45 minutes later as promised, I was back on the road with a new tire along with a free rotation. Thank you Discount Tire. i was SCAMMED! I HAVE A NEWER CAR 30K MILES. I HAD A SLOW LEAK ON 1 TIRE. They told me i needed 4 new tires for $600. Its a prius with Toyota Guard! i refused. Asked that they just fix the tire. The tire was off and they said NOPE cant fix it. Its illegal. Said tire had 2 small holes and they legally couldnt putbit back on. WHAT? ITS MY CAR, MY TIRE. They said they could put a new tire on for $96. I have to leave for the airport in 1 hr...my choices are limited. They put the new tire on as im basically held hostage. As im driving away i call to tell my wife. She said get the old tire back she believes its warrantied thru toyota. I'm very disappointed in discount tire. Not only am I missing one of my valve steam extensions for the inner rear wheel. but when placing the order for my 6 NEW tires I was very clear that I wanted new DOT stamped tires. the sales rep assured me over the phone that the tires would be stamped from 2023. after getting my Rv home I'm looking at the tires and to my surprise I noticed the DOT stamp is from 2021. so I payed $3200 for tires that are already almost the years old.
