The studio is clean and quiet, and we were brought right away for a relaxing foot wash with tea. The massage itself was thorough, using varied techniques including hot stones, some deep tissue massage, and thai stretching at the end. By the end, I felt so loose and relaxed from head to toe. This is without doubt the best Thai massage in the DMV. The massage therapists really take great care of you and customize your experience depending on the area of tension in your body. My massage therapist was "Jenny," today and she was amazing but I have had other massage therapists in the past at Chaan, and all are great. The fees, while not cheap, are very reasonable given the quality of the service. Prices have remained fairly stable in the past decade, even as many other goods or services have increased significantly. Worth every penny. read more

I'm so glad to find a new place that does excellent massages!!! When you come into the establishment, you are directed to take off your shoes and wear their slides. Then you are taken to the area where you get your feet washed and it feels so good! You are also given a complimentary hot green tea. I get the 2 hour Anti-Stress Therapy Massage. They work every area. Arada was very good and I left feeling so relaxed! They do a stretch at the end of the massage. The staff is super friendly and makes sure you are taken care of. If you sign up, they always send you coupons! This is located in the same area of the Mosaic District around the corner from Sweetwater Tavern. They have free surface parking but their sign directs you to park in the designated spots to avoid towing. I come here monthly! read more

I've been going to Chaan Thai for many years they have been great up until my visit this past week. So I went in for a 90 minute session early in the morning. The therapist did a great job for the first 60 minutes. When she turned me over for the last 30 minutes. I asked her to work on my lower back more. She said with a attitude ok turn back over. Then she mumbled something. I asked her did she say something. She said I have to work all day and that she doesn't want to use all her power on me. I didn't say anything after that but the last 30 minutes was not pleasant and definitely didn't use the pressure she used the first 60 minutes. Now I am in search for a new place :( read more
