Zero standards for health and safety and zero precautions taken for children's allergies! Had contacted the owner of this business regarding a serious error made regarding a child's allergy . Lisa was the caterer for our team during a hockey tournament . We submitted an order form well in advance with all allergies clearly stated. (The one in reference being an egg allergy ) There was correspondence and confirmation that this could be accommodated. When the meals were delivered the container was clearly marked "no eggs". When there was a mayonnaise substance leaking from the "chicken wrap" the child didn't eat it thankfully. When I called to confirm if this was an egg free dressing I was given the most unprofessional response. She said" it was chicken salad wrap "and she didn't even think of mayonnaise having eggs. ?? I'm sorry if you are a licensed caterer and chef your should know this , she obviously did not have specific professional practices in place for dealing with allergies. The owner Lisa was angry stated that she didn't "sign up for" dealing with allergies. I continued to say that was an unacceptable answer as she is the caterer and approved the order and labeled the box egg free. When I asked for an explanation as to why she approved being able to accommodate the allergy and clearly marked the box no egg , if she didn't feel comfortable doing so and that the child would have had a serious reaction had he trusted the label and gone ahead and eaten it . She then proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't have put my child in that position . This is completely not a responsible explanation and very unprofessional and most of all dangerous. When a caterer says she can accommodate an allergy the customer should be able to 100% trust that they will take all the necessary precautions when accommodating someone with an allergy especially a child . She should not be putting the blame of her negligence on the customer . This business should have to go through serious training for food safety and should be checked for a proper catering license , there is no way she has one and if she does or should be in questioned . I have reported her to the BBB and I will be contacting our league to make sure they don't use her in the future!

Lisa met with me within 12 hours of my inquiry, helped me plan a beautiful menu that accommodated a nut allergy, gluten free and Halal restrictions. We had beautiful charcuterie (not Halal) followed by wonderful salads, and a beautifully prepared meal of salmon and Halal chicken, with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Dessert was a decadent baked lemon cheesecake and a rich chocolate mousse. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the experience of watching Lisa and Jeremy work. They made themselves at home in my kitchen, were invisible while we ate and then returned to serve dessert. The prices were better than I would have paid to take the group out for dinner, and the food met all of our requirements and exceeded our expectations - and with leftovers. Thank Lisa and Jeremy. We loved our meal.
