Chad has been working with our 6yr old son for 9 months and we have been amazed by his progress. He is not only learning to read and play music, he is also learning to tune his guitar by ear as well as recognize notes by ear. He also teaches him about the songs they are playing as far as genre, meaning and country of origin. Hi, my name is Chad, and I offer guitar, piano, bass, banjo, and ukulele lessons in the Bowling Green, KY area. I have provided private instruction to hundreds of students in Bowling Green since 2001. Students are welcome from all ages and levels from beginner to advanced. Whether you want to learn classical or popular styles on acoustic, electric, or bass guitar, I can help. Students may learn to read sheet music, play by ear, or both. Instruction is available Monday through Saturday and usually scheduled for half an hour on the same day and time each week. Call or email for available times and special rates.

Established in 2001.

I have provided private guitar lessons in the Bowling Green, KY area to hundreds of students since 2001. Guitar lessons--as well as bass, piano, banjo, and ukulele--are given at our studio. Students are welcome from all ages, and levels from beginner to advanced. Whether you want to learn classical or popular styles on guitar, or if you want to learn beginner bass, piano, banjo or ukulele, I can help. Students may learn to read sheet music, play by ear, or both. Lessons are usually scheduled for half an hour on the same day and time each week and are paid on a monthly basis. BUT they went ahead charged me for it. Each time I called they told me I had to pay again or told me to call my bank or (this was the most common) it'll be there in a couple days. I downloaded Yelp specifically to give this company a review. HOWEVER, I ordered off of Sweetwater instead and got it within the week. Customer service was fantastic (shout out to Eddie). All in all a very lovely experience. I still haven't received a refund for the guitar from music & arts and doubt I ever will and I'm not the only one. All the negative reviews on google say the same thing so you have to know you're doing something wrong.

I am not willing to make my daughter follow rules that don't make sense for her. So, we had to leave. This store was everything and nothing like I expected. They seemed to have odd hours. With odds and ends tucked in every corner, and rooms that look like you shouldn't go in but can and are filled with antiques of all different varieties. There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the chaos that is The Olde General Store. It was neat to look around though and see all the offerings. I loved some of the old farm tools and wished I was more artsy to create some neat repurposed projects but alas walked out with my bank account still intact.
