He came out and saw what my job entailed, and he was willing to fit me into his hectic schedule. I appreciate that he took the time to spend time walking the property and understanding what I wanted to accomplish. I was taking a studio and separating the space from the living room and bedroom with a wall; the original pony wall was very dated and did not offer privacy. Tim offered a better option on how to enclose the space that I was working with and he didn't take shortcuts. His suggestion was to tear down the pony wall, and build a brand new wall. He gave the condo a new updated look after building the wall, adding a door and redoing the electrical. Originally, I had an electrician I thought of using, but Tim worked out my electrical package into the total price. I appreciate that he put extra attention into where to place the lights, and he's a perfectionist. Hiring him to do the job, meant I didn't have to worry about it anymore. He had an understanding of what I wanted to do and took care of it all. The quality and workmanship he put into my job is exceptional! The drywall and finish work is impeccable, and he installed two doors; one has a nice trim over it which looks very customized. Tim is also a super nice and honest guy; he was in touch with me daily to provide updates. I'm very happy with the finished job and would hire him again, in a heartbeat!

Review Update (2026)…read more I am updating my original 5-star review from a few years ago. At the time, we were very happy with our kitchen remodel and the overall experience working with Creative Design & Build. The project turned out beautifully, which is why I originally left such a positive review. Over the years, however, I noticed that one section of the flooring felt slightly soft when walking on it. At first, it did not seem serious, so we continued to live with it. Recently, the problem became worse and a section of the floor began to noticeably sink when stepped on and eventually a few edges of the flooring broke. At that point, I became concerned that it could become a safety issue. Because we still had plenty of spare flooring boards left over from the project, I attempted to replace the affected board myself. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the new board to fit correctly due to the locking system, and I could not restore the original board either. I then contacted Creative Design & Build for assistance. One reason I reached out was because our original project manager, Oded, had told us that if we ever had any issues, we should contact the company. I left a voicemail and later received a return call from a staff member. After I explained the situation, she said she would check with management and get back to me. A few days later, I received a text message stating that the warranty had expired and that no repairs would be covered. This was disappointing because I had never been informed that there was a four-year warranty period, nor was I able to find any reference to such a limitation in our contract. When I asked for details regarding the warranty and whether they could recommend someone to repair the issue, I did not receive any further response. There were two other issues relating to electrical and plumbing, however we decided to live with that until we had a major problem we needed fixing. I still appreciate the work that was done on our remodel years ago, and our kitchen remains a space we enjoy. However, I have been disappointed by the lack of follow-up and support when a problem arose. My advice to future customers is to make sure all warranty terms, coverage details, and expiration dates are clearly documented and understood before signing a contract.
