I was extremely disappointed we didn't actually cook anything. Everyone was very nice but my expectations for a $100 + cooking class per person were not met considering we didn't cook anything. I was handed a packet with all the recipes for the food we were "making". The first recipe was the crab rangoon except all we did was stuff the wonton wrappers and actually put it together. Same with the bao buns. At no point were the porcupine meatballs even a thing. They were made prior, mentioned, and put on our plates. Everything was made in advance. So I paid to fill wonton wrappers and get printed out recipes I could find online. Also, we weren't even going to get to stuff the bao buns. They were going to have a group of people do each thing - 1 to stuff the buns and the other crab Rangoon except I said I wanted to do the buns too so everyone got to do a couple. Honestly the food was bland except for the bao buns. I won't be using their recipes. Truely disappointed and feel like I was swindled out of money. They should be more forthcoming about what this "cooking class" entails. It's not actually cooking.

GREETED UPON ENTRY by Josh! They have quite a nice selection of Cabinets. Some were even European style! I also saw leather cabinets which I thought was unique... We made an appointment for an estimate. He came to our house and arrived on time. He even texted us a confirmation before arriving. He listened to what idea we wanted for the cabinets. There were some measurements that were required by law so we had to abide by those measurement requirements... He measured our kitchen and said he'll email is a quote within 2 days!! Jai, the project coordinator, was fantastic. She answered every question promptly, quickly arranged for a replacement part that was damaged during shipping, and stayed on top of every surprise that came up during demolition. She always provided clear options and kept the project moving smoothly. Joseph installed the cabinets at an impressive pace while maintaining exceptional quality. His attention to detail was outstanding. He even reinstalled a few cabinets (which meant redoing the work) to ensure everything was perfectly level. The final result speaks for itself. EV Granites did an amazing job with the countertop. They measured everything with precision, created perfect templates, and made excellent use of every inch of the granite slabs. They were friendly, answered all my questions, and worked efficiently to get the project completed quickly. The entire project was wrapped up in just a couple of weeks, which completely surprised me. I had been worried because similar projects often take months. When Heidi and Jai first shared the timeline, I was skeptical (as contractors often overpromise), but Pure Cabinets did the opposite. They beat their already aggressive timeline. It was a refreshing experience. I wish I could find a general contractor with the same level of professionalism, reliability, and customer focus. He cannot be trusted. Nothing he says is real. And I have the documentation to back every bit of this up. I wish I had dug deeper before hiring him. If I can stop even one person from getting screwed the way we did, then at least this disaster serves a purpose.

Buyer Beware - My Home Was Left Torn Apart - Their contractor license has been revoked!…read more I never imagined I would be writing a review like this, but I feel obligated to warn other homeowners. I hired Flooring Direct Temecula to replace the flooring throughout my home. On June 22, 2026, I signed a contract for laminate flooring and paid the required deposit to pay for materials. The installation began but stopped abruptly after only part of the flooring was installed because there were no remaining materials. What followed was one of the worst customer service nightmares I have ever had. For more than two weeks, the owner, Bill Norris, completely disappeared. My repeated phone calls and text messages went unanswered. I received absolutely no communication explaining why my home had been left in pieces. During that same time: * The installer told me he had not been paid. * The delivery driver told me he could not reach Bill. * A salesperson ( His son Billy) at Flooring Direct Temecula also told me he could not get Bill to answer his calls. Think about that for a moment. Not only could the customer not reach the owner, but his own employees and subcontractors couldn't reach him either. Because no one would communicate with me, I had to investigate the situation myself. I contacted the flooring manufacturer directly and discovered that only part of my flooring order had ever been purchased. The remaining flooring required to finish my home was sitting at the manufacturer because it had never been paid for. As the homeowner, I was told I could not obtain my own flooring because only the contractor could authorize and pay for its release. Meanwhile, my home was left with exposed subfloors, furniture piled everywhere, and rooms that were unusable. No phone call. No explanation. No plan. No concern for the customer. I ultimately had to open a dispute with Chase Visa to protect my money. I also filed felony charges!!!!!!!!!!! Only after I escalated the situation and informed Bill that I was involving the police to document what had happened and finally pressed formal criminal charges did he finally contact me. This entire situation could have been handled differently with honest communication. Instead, I was left chasing answers from installers, delivery drivers, and manufacturers because the person responsible for my project simply disappeared. This wasn't simply a delayed job. This was a complete breakdown in communication and professionalism that left my family living in an unfinished construction zone while we had no idea whether our project would ever be completed. I strongly encourage anyone considering Flooring Direct Temecula to do extensive research, verify everything independently, and understand exactly who is responsible for your project before paying a deposit. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

I just purchased this adorable swivel chair for $85 including tax, from this store a few days ago…read more I own an AirBnB STR house in Temecula Wine Country, and wish I knew about this store before, when I was furnishing it, 3 years ago. A few days ago, they had several mid-century style pieces of furniture that were new. Seems like most of the furniture are manufacturer closeouts, or dent and scratches, This Habitat ReStore amazes me, because it is in a nice modern industrial building, which I have never seen Habitat occupy. The others I have been to , are in the oldest most run down buildings in low rent areas. However, as nice as this building is, you look way up at the ceiling, there is no AC or other cooling system. It was over 100 degrees when I bought this chair, outside temp. They leave the front door open for the breeze but you feel all the hot air, that is hotter than the temp inside the building. The employee at the cash register, near the open door where all the hot air was coming in, said "Yep, no AC". But if you didn't have air circulating, even hot air, it would be a greater hotter oven. They have a separate room, where they sell small stuff, not even related to building or home stuff, like bike helmets. The thing about this store, the things they sell here are newer, and not used and sometimes broken and chipped, like the other Habitat ReStores have. The donations come from manufacturers or commercial businesses rather than individual donors that are remodeling their homes, or got a new piece.

Very recently, HDC completed stone and tile work in my guest and master bathrooms. The work in both bathrooms is outstanding. HDC Customer Service also deserves many kudo's. I placed my order with Chad. Chad provided a bid that beat other competitors (all recommended by Arizona Tile and Stone) and assured me that my job would be completed as scheduled. HDC began with the guest bath where they removed old stone from the vanity and over the walk-in tub. Oscar visited Arizona Tile and Stone to inspect the stone I had selected. He discovered that the stone had cracks in the piece I had chosen and selected stone that had similar patterns and color to my original choice. Actual replacement took only one day. Oscar had taken such care when cutting the stone and preparing it for install that, where ever possible, he was able to match the grain and movement where pieces joined. The finished guest bath is beautiful. The master bath shower presented some design issues such as tile choices that were not available and design changes required at the eleventh hour. Jose and his crew were easy to work with facilitating the final unique and stunning design. The shower has safety features (safety bars and shower wand on the wall near a corner seat). When the tile work was completed we determined that a ceiling can spot light should be installed to hi-lite the trim tile. Henry, the electrician, arrived and worked until late into the evening to complete all the electrical work. There was no need for patching or painting. Kelly was available throughout the project to trouble-shoot, order materials and schedule work assignments. She was always cheerful and efficient while providing outstanding customer service. Home Design Center is a great group of people, supper helpful and professional. They are passionate about the work they do, listen to your needs and deliver a top quality product. HDC helped me with a custom built deck and siding for a doublewide work facility I own. After shot-gunning a request for quotes on the internet, HDC was the only company that actually took the time to read my description of the work I needed before they called me. When they called they had intelligent question, straight answers, and a "Yes we want this job but first we want to meet with you face to face to get a solid understanding of your project so we can give you an accurate quote, for free, and build you a deck you are going to love!". After a serous meeting, taking our time sizing things up, talking designs, talking materials, timelines and them listening to all the special needs that I had, they quickly gave me a good quote. I needed a sectional 10x30ft deck just in case I need to move it in the future. I needed a gate on the side, letting my deck double as a simple loading dock. I had more ideas and requests but HDC kept answering me "Yes, we can do that for you!", and where I did not know what I needed HDC filled in my blanks with great suggestions. I had three guys working at the deck at different times, all three guys had a great, friendly and positive attitude, and showed a genuine passion for the work they were doing for me. I love people like that, professional, easy going and genuinely happy to have this opportunity to do this work for me. I would recommend HDC to anyone that needs help with any construction project for their home or business. From start to finish this organization has met and exceeded my expectations. From the very 1st meeting with Chad to the CEO BOBBY, we were treated excellent in every way. From there very dedicated work crews to the experience of spending time getting to know the journey men tile setting,electrician, carpenter and pretty much build and get done what ever request you may have Antonio! This is definitely the company to do your remodel home improvements with. I have recommended them to my Grandpa and they did a great job for him and quickly at that matter. We had our kitchen countertops done with the FSHDC team and are so happy we did. The process was so easy. We met with Jared initially at our home who gathered all the information and helped us in arriving at our final choice with granite. The only other things we had to do were: go to Arizona Tile to select our stone, clear out the cupboards beneath the counters, and then stay out of the way while work was being done. The sub-contractors who showed up to do the work for each stage (measuring/templates, demolition of the old ceramic tile counters, granite install, and final plumbing of the new sink faucet/drains) were all punctual, courteous, and very professional leaving us without a kitchen sink for the absolute minimal amount of time I think is possible. All the work done was of the highest quality and we are extremely pleased with the beautiful new counters in our kitchen. read more

I am one of those people who will not stop calling to get updates, and probably a pain because I am SO picky about everything!! I had a wonderful salesperson, Craig (very handsome) come to my home and listen to me for quite a while; by the time he left, he knew exactly what I was looking for. Kelly obviously runs the place, and she could not be more professional, as well as a wonderful person to work with. All work was just completed, and is perfect! We had our work done through The Tradesman, Chad was the rep that came out to see the service we wanted done in our Manufactured home bathroom in Loma LInda. They did such a great job, from Kevin who was so informative and helpful, to Roberto, Jorge, Kenny and Brandon.. .they were all wonderful and the work was amazing. Kelly oversaw it all and was so knowledge and pleasant. We had a rough time with water damage in 2 rooms and what they look like now is mind boggling! We had our second floor painted and laminate floor installed by Flooring Showroom Home Design Center and both projects were done professionally. The workers did an excellent job. There were minor finishing touches that needs to be done and they took care of it. The Home Design Center knows how to make their customers happy. Good customer service. Everybody was very nice. These guys have done work in my house twice now, last year they saved me from a terrible contractor. They repaired the floors and dry wall and did an awesome job on our kitchen counters. A few days ago they finished replacing all of our upstairs carpet including the stairs. Once again, they did an awesome job! There was only one option in the store for the color I was looking for, but it was from a reputable company and had a 50-year warranty! Wow! I was impressed! We made an appointment with John (the owner) who came out within a couple of days and was on time. John was very professional and easy to work with. He provided an offer immediately and we told him we wanted to move forward. We provided the deposit and John ordered the LVP. We were leaving on vacation for a week and by the time we got back, it was another week before installation. It was perfect timing as we needed to remove furniture so they could work. We left the larger furniture in each room and the installers move them around as they installed the floor. On installation day, the crew showed up on time and ready to work! They were professional and hard working! They were also courteous and respectful. They did the floating floor over the existing tile and added wood where there was carpet. They explained how the glue would need to dry before we could walk on it, which was very helpful. After the 3rd day, the floors were done and they started on the baseboard and door casings. Jason worked hard to complete all the work, clean up after the install, and the entire project was done in one week. I am so impressed with this crew and Precison's communication with us. It was a big decision given the investment and fact that the rest of my home already had hardwood floors (put in by the old owner) that I would need to match. I purchased traditional wood flooring from LL Flooring in Lakewood, who in turn recommended Felix Flooring for the installation. I cannot say enough about the service that I received from Felix and his team. From the day that he came in to measure the room and answer my (many many) questions, I knew that I had chosen the right person. In the days leading up the the installation, I had a few questions about what to expect, and Felix got back to me right away. Since LL Flooring was out of the particular style baseboard I needed, I chose to supply those on my own. I texted Felix from Home Depot on a Friday night for a recommendation on product, and he told me not to worry - he would supply the baseboards for me so I didn't have to cut them and attempt to lug them all home. This was NOT in his job description, but he insisted! If you are hesitating even a little about choosing Felix, being able to expect this level of care is one of many reasons you should just go ahead and book. It is unusual to find people who both (a) take immense pride in their craft and (b) are just generally all-around kind and amazing human beings. As for the week of the install, I was once again was blown away by the professionalism of Felix and team. Their work is impeccable, from the floors themselves to the seamless room transitions to the baseboards/moulding. I've worked on many homes in my life, including doing my own floors twice. Felix is a world-class carpenter and his work elevated the look of my home. I also appreciated what I consider a true "white glove" service: the team moved my furniture (including a piano) in and out of the rooms without a single scratch, and they kept the hallways protected and my entire home neat and clean throughout the process.
