I reached out to Chad looking for a quote to have work done on my vehicle. He took hours to return my call.... no problem. When I was able to speak with him he indicated that he only accepted cash and he could do the work today. He pushed really hard to do the job today and asked that I call and pre-pay for the parts which would be delivered to him. Keep in mind.... this is a mobile service and I have never met the guy. Several red flags popped up in our conversation and I thought twice about using his services. He became belligerent which I declined, called my cell phone repeated and sent several hostile text messages. Glad I listened to my instincts with this guy and checked out these reviews. literally a nightmare of a person to deal with. left with more damage than when i brought it. WILL overcharge you. tried to charge me $600 for labor (not including parts i'd have to buy) when it doesn't cost nearly as much. Tried to say 2.5 hours of work was worth 600. He is NUTS. Then he won't shut your hood of your car which will cause it to fly open while you're on the road and SHATTER your windshield and cause over 5k of bodywork damage. then when you tell him you can't afford his ungodly price range he will hold your car hostage until you pay him $100. Next time, save your time and money and go literally anywhere else. you'd probably get better service for cheaper if you asked a local cr@ckhead. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. I wish i could go back in time and tell myself to never ever deal with this man. and he has AWFUL customer service. I paid this guy 10k to rebuild my motor. After 6 months of car rentals and another mechanic and 4K to do what I paid chad to do. So all in all this guy has cost me almost 25k. He won't answer calls and when he does he always says he will be done in another week. We heard that several times. He always has an excuse. The guy doesn't have a shop like he told. he came and got the truck so I didn't know. Also I'm not from that area. Was there working hurricane laura.. I found this out when I went to check on truck since he would never answer. He is a Racist. He actually called me an ignorant N word and a B word after I decided not to use him for my car repairs because he inflated the price of his services. He sent his "helper" who did not know anything about cars to diagnose the problem. I've never experienced anything like him in my life. He was irate and screaming at me. Parents if you have a kid at UL that doesn't know the difference a dipstick and a swizzlestick this guy is for you! I called him because our daughter was having issues with her car . She was out of town and we don't live in lafayette so we called Chad and my son met him at her car. I hired Chad to do an inspection on a used car I was going to buy from a dealership. I test drove the car Saturday, called Chad about an inspection on Sunday and he was done with it by Monday afternoon. When Chad discovered a serious problem with the car, he gave me his honest opinion that I shouldn't buy the car. He took photos of the problem and I forwarded those to my brother in law, who is a mechanic in another state. He agreed with Chad's assessment and I've decided not to buy the car. I appreciated that Chad was very honest in his assessment of the vehicle. The inspection was $400 which is higher than I've paid mobile mechanics for inspections in the past, but I feel Chad did a good job and would use his services again. read more

Brought our vehicle on 2 separate occasions to have a problem fixed. $1000 later, vehicle still has the same problem and an extra 3 dash lights were on. He told us to google it. We spent another $1000 at a different mechanic to have the problem fixed and now it drives brand new. Would not recommend. read more

Heard about Chad from AutoZone, and he fixed my headlight as soon as I needed it and flushed my coolant cause I kept adding water to it, ignorantly. He's top notch, definitely recommend him to everyone. He's also very reasonable with his prices! I will be using him again and again!! read more

I contacted this service to get my vehicle looked at and a guy answered the phone and sounded as if he had better things to do than answer questions or concerns I might have This is a lack in customer service, which is a big pet peeve of mine. Then he told me he would contact me back later When I was trying to set up an appointment ONLY because he is the only certified mobile mechanic, He then tells me you will call me later Well 5 hours later I still have not heard from him. I then took it upon myself to return the phone call thinking maybe he became busy and it slipped his mind but after 2 attempts of calling and no one answering, I think Ill go with Mr. Bourques service on betrand... Trusted my car to him, after eight weeks of lies and excuses the phone calls became highly contentious. His demeanor hostile and threatening, this after eight weeks of having my car for a job( he was paid in full for).. i could not get my car back. The engine light was still on, the car still smoked badly and used oil.... other words I highly doubt that he did anything to the car at all. I have no proof that the work was done, no receipts and no resolution to my cars problems. Chad turned this whole experience into an unbelievable nightmare. Chad's was great i broke down on the side of the road my car just started smoking and would not move so i called chad's they were there very quickly and got my car running in less than an hour so i only had a mild set back and I was back on the road in less than 2 hours!!!
