Prices are VERY high--often at or even above retail for many items, which defeats the purpose of shopping secondhand. You're better off buying brand new in some cases. The selection of quality items is meager, with most of the inventory being either outdated, worn, or simply overpriced for the condition it's in. It feels more like a boutique trying to cash in on the thrift trend than a store genuinely serving the community with affordable options. If you're looking for real bargains or hidden gems, this probably isn't the place.

Though there is some history that shouldn't be repeated and that we all have to work with together to tell a new story. I'm speaking to the overt and offensive racism I overheard the workers there speaking while I was in the store. I honestly have never heard such direct discriminatory stereotyping in my life. Maybe they thought it was OK because I am a 'white' person, but we are all people and it is not OK. I can't consciously return to or recommend this store until it is a safe space that respects and reflects the beauty and diversity of people the way it does with the things for sale there. Thank you.
