My friends also ordered shrimp skewers that they said were quite worth the wait and the shrimp were all decent sized (I can't recall their name), fries which were the perfect crispness, steak au jois sammy which my other friend really enjoyed. Get there early for bucket specials on your favorite beers! They serve a wide array of liquor, cocktails, Jell-O shots. The building is huge and one half is just a pool hall while the other half, where you see bands, has a few pool tables on the perimeter. The servers have always even friendly, but you'll want to keep track of your tab because it does get hectic at times and they've made mistakes. Will I return? I LOVE bars like the Fountain Inn. Unpretentious. Made for locals. And a bar where Michelob Ultra is considered a "hoity toity" beer. But the Fountain Inn was far from a dive. While the exterior of the building may look a little worn, the interior was recently renovated and updated. They even had a roomba to sweep the floor! How high tech. The flow of the bar was open and airy with lots of places to sit and enjoy a cold one on a nice warm day. Outside of the Fountain Inn, there's tons of seating. It was easy to keep your distance. There was also a stage set up with a man in overalls playing a little too much Johnny Cash. But I didn't care. It was live music and Nathan kept the $2 Stag beers coming.
