Imagine an "ewww" face. When we were finally able to speak with the jeweler, the experience was even worse, condescending and overall hurtful. I worked with this business years ago and had a great experience. Maybe there's new management leaning on their predecessor's reputation, but either way, I would strongly caution others. Do not send a woman there alone to speak with them. My girlfriend is 40 yrrs old and 5 feet tall...they treated her like a little girl who didn't know anything and essentially shooed her away. She was so appalled at their behavior that she called me crying on her way home. If same management, very misogynistic feel now. Good luck - I mean , look at the positive reviews that are all 6yrs + or older. Buyer beware.

I made a comment to my husband that this was a place people came to retire in. That being said, there was not many places for us to find souvenirs for our family! This shop was one of maybe three that we visited and where we ended up buying our souvenirs. The shop is split up into two main sections. The front is where the more delicate and fragile homemade/community made items were located. The items were a little pricey in the front. I get it, it's homemade and the skill and labor that goes into it comes with a cost; however, nothing worth the price caught our eyes. The back was where the touristy items/homemade bath/spa items were. We browsed both areas, but we eventually only bought items in the back of the store. I liked that there were testers for the spa items, like the lotions and sprays. I would have regretted buying some of them just based off the names. We also bought some T shirts that were half off, which was a really good deal! As for the service, no one really spoke to us while we were there. We didn't mind since we like to just browse and shop at our own pace. Especially being tourists, not really looking for anything specific. The lady that checked us out was friendly.
