Instead they have this machine that gently taps the base of the neck (the "nucleus" of the spine). It gives a magnetic jolt (no pain - can't feel it at all). I didn't have pain the next day, I'll admit, and maybe I'm weird b/c I kind of prefer the traditional chiropractic experience but the biggest issue was the smell. It smelled so bad (like subway onion bad). Honestly not sure if I should try it again just to see if it was a one off... I doubt I'll go back. Best wishes.

And boy am I glad I did! Dr. Pham and company are great people and have definitely taken care of me. The office is very clean and inviting. They are able to see me usually within 5 minutes of walking in the door. As far as the actual reason why I originally went to Happy Spine - I have a job that requires me to awkwardly lift 50-130lb objects for 10 hours a day. Back pain is unavoidable with my job. She reviewed the x-ray results and had me come into the office 3 days a week. She told me to stop taking my meds. I was scared at first because the pain was unbearable, but I stop taking them. That being said, out of all of my chiropractic experiences, I've found none more grueling yet none more satisfying than Georgia Sports Chiropractic! Since moving to GA, I've need all the work done on my body and could only find places that did light adjustments mingled with a bunch of techie stuff that didn't really do much for me. I needed someone to get into my muscles and spine and literally do some major work. So when I heard of this place, I had to try it. I was recommended to ask for Dr. Norman Eng and upon reading his credentials, you know he knows his stuff! So when I showed up for my appointment, I knew I was in for a treat considering his office is located in such an inconvenient spot in midtown and I'm all the way in Gwinnett but you know, you get what you pay for and if you gotta drive to get it then by all means. Just remember to park in the AT&T deck nearby and they'll validate parking. The office is so minimal. It's almost peaceful. The guy that took my info and handled my paperwork was professional, friendly, and courteous. In terms of my actual work, which took about an hour, I had the work done for sure. Dr. Eng literally evaluated my posture, my lifting form (squat form), adjusted my spine, scraped my neck using the Graston technique (HALLELUJAH!!!), and gave me pointers on stretches that'll open up my hips and tips of increasing mobility which is a huge issue for me even though I incorporate them but Dr. Eng's technique is even more valuable and I've done everything I could to continue to incorporate them. All in all... I highly recommend this place for all thing chiropractic related. They specialize in sports injury recovery and ensures that's it more intensive than just your average chiropractic place where they do a light crack of your back, stick you on massaging water bed, place diodes to relax your muscles, then make you pay $60 for your office visit. Come to find out, she and I also attended the same Orthopedic office. :-) One my favorite things about this office is the personable staff. Every single time I visit the office, which has literally been twice each week since March 26, 2018, I'm always greeted with a smile and the staff take a genuine interest in your health and well-being. I'm big on vibes and the atmosphere here is ALWAYS positive. The positive energy is not only evident in how they interact with patients, but it's evident in their interactions with one another. As an outsider looking in, they truly appear like a loving, playful family. I love to see and experience this type of energy. I also cannot express enough how receiving the treatment and therapies here have drastically improved my pain. I was in a car accident in November, did 2 months of physical therapy, received cortisone injections, but my neck and back pains persisted on an intense level.
