The person I saw (Walls), seemed somewhat unsure of himself. He did some things that made me better, and a couple that made it worse. At the end of the visit, I had gone through alot of pain, but didn't feel any better. Here's where it went from bad to worse.. 1. I told Walls (I don't know that I can call him Doctor) that I wanted a follow up appointment as soon as possible since I wasn't better. He told me that HE is back in on Tuesday. I asked about Dr Salzinger and was told he was in Monday morning. I had to then ask if Salzinger had appointments Monday morning to which he replied 'yes'. I then said I want to make an appointment for next available time. Walls then said '..ok; Tuesday morning then?'. I had to remind him that I wanted to be seen as soon as possible. He was more concerned with me being HIS patient and not the timeliness of care. 2. I asked for something for the pain. He said he cannot write a prescription. HUH?? A doctor?? 3. The paperwork I was given to fill out mentioned billing my insurance company. Well, he insisted on payment from me at the end of the 'treatment'.. no option for insurance. Further, I was just given a small paper receipt. Now I'm trying to get a proper receipt from them that outlines my visit and what they did. Guess what.. NOTHING! I called and the office person said they would email it over right away. Well, I'm still waiting for it and it's been 2 business days. I don't know the legitamacy of this place if they're scared to give you a bill that says what they did. I can say that, if I don't get this after day 3 I'll be taking them to the insurance board. I'm not saying they're running a scam, but it feels less than legit at this point.

When no money was forthcoming I stopped by the practice and talked to the owner, Dr. Salinger. He looked on his computer and agreed that I was owed a refund. Later that day his secretary his secretary called and said she thought I had been there eight time and I would not get any money back. He's brilliant, a true nerd about his craft, and just the most hilarious, charismatic, and thoughtful person. His practice even has a relaxing resting room you can use before and after your adjustments to mentally prepare for the amazing experience you're about to have. In 2022, I was diagnosed with relapse-remitting multiple sclerosis, and I was struggling with chronic pain, cramping, numbness, brain fog, and fatigue. I also have TMJ. I'd tried everything--medicine, acupuncture--but nothing was truly effective until I started seeing Dr. Kris. Since then, about 95% of my symptoms have been relieved. I'm so incredibly grateful for his care. This is by far the most effective way I've found to manage my MS symptoms. I will be a patient for life! I'd like to add that I just read his 1/2 star reviews and that's simply not true. The experience of having a chiropractor is that it takes time to see results and Dr. Kris explains this. He gives you a consultation with x rays before you commit to a large financial ask. We choose to trust that the medicine we take that we've never seen the science behind it at all. To be clear, I support taking medicine as needed but it's usually symptom treating. Dr. Kris promotes long lasting relief and actually says he doesn't want you to have to always come--that's the goal. I moved to Atlanta recently so when I found "Lotus of Life" I was excited to try them because they seemed to take a more holistic approach to chiropractics, however I was disappointed to find out that Dr. Lilliana strictly works with clients, or "participants" as she calls them, who follow their treatment to the T exactly. Firstly I would like to mention that non of the specific requirements to follow their program were mentioned either on their website or by anyone who I spoke to until after I had paid the $220 for the initial consultation, which is nothing more than a funnel to sell their other services. Therefore when they told me I had to go twice a week for 6 weeks of which it would be impossible for me to do, I was surprised. When I said I was only interested in going for adjustments once a month, Dr. Jenifer, (who btw was leaving that job in 2 days) told me they don't take clients like me, and she told me she was going to ask Dr. Lilliana, the owner, to call me so we could discuss further. After a week Dr. Liliana called my husbands' number and left a message saying they are a different type of office, they are special unlike a pain clinic, so they could not accommodate me. I suppose everyone has the right to run their business as they wish. But I must say I was pretty shocked to hear the arrogance of Dr. Liliana. As if I didn't know what I was doing, and basically diminishing my request to a pain clinic. Wow! As a background, so you get a picture as to who is writing this review: I am a healthy woman in my 40's, who as part of my holistic healthcare system, I get chiropractic adjustments, including acupuncture and massage.
