Dr. Kate and Dr. James are wonderful! I found them during my pregnancy because they are certified to treat pregnant women and infants. I noticed an immediate difference in my back pain during pregnancy. Unfortunately, I had a long and difficult labor that was still not progressing after 26 hours, so my doula recommended that I call my chiropractor. I did and Dr. Kate came to my house to adjust me while in labor. It was like she flipped a switch! Within 10 minutes my contractions got much stronger and closer together. An hour after she arrived we were getting in the car to go to the hospital and my baby was born happy and healthy 4 hours later. I have never seen such convincing evidence of the benefits of chiropractic care. Needless to say I am incredibly thankful that Dr. Kate was there for me and able to come so quickly. She is the best! Again, unfortunately, I had several problems after the birth of my baby--a sprained tailbone from the delivery (which apparently happens in a small percentage of labors) and lots of difficulty and pain with breastfeeding. Dr. Kate came to the hospital to adjust my baby on her first day of life and I could tell an immediate difference in the way she was using her jaw during breastfeeding. She didn't cause any more damage after that! Dr. Kate was also incredibly helpful with my tailbone sprain, which took 3.5 months to heal. She gave me exercises to do at home and helped reassure me that it was normal for it to be a slow process of healing. Overall, I just feel that these two Doctors are incredibly thoughtful and helpful. They go out of their way to think of what more they can do to help you. They have emailed me articles and videos, and Dr. Kate even sent me a long email about other breastfeeding tips. They have been there for me through so many hard steps, always encouraging, understanding and flexible with scheduling if a last minute change comes up due to my baby's unpredictable schedule. I have had a truly amazing experience with Dr James and Dr Kate! I'm a yoga teacher and massage therapist in my second year of practice. I started coming into Expression a couple of months ago because I had a pinched nerve which was causing constant, 24-7 numbing, tingling, with pins & needle like pain in my right arm. I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis, which in and of itself is a painful disease. The Dr.'s here are phenomenal! I started coming in and with gentle persuasion of the back and neck I started to see changes within the first week, and it has been getting better all of the time. Dr. Kate Wetterlin does an amazing job and treats all ages. She is trained in the Webster technique specifically for adjustments during pregnancy, as well. I've been seeing her since week 32 of my pregnancy and my hip and back pain have been relieved. My midwife has even stated that my hips are in better alignment and the baby is in a better position since seeing Dr. Kate. Her adjustments are gentle, not forceful and scary like some chiropractic care can be. Started coming for nerve pain in my neck and shoulder, my jaw was so tight I couldn't eat without it popping out too.
