I wasn't planning on getting a haircut today but I saw a young man with a fresh haircut that was excellently blended into his beard. I asked him where her got his haircut and he said Champion, but that I would probably need a reservation. Since I had some extra time, I went to the shop as a walk-in. Donna had an opening and I was seated immediately. Donna gave me an outstanding haircut but more importantly, she trimmed and shaped my beard and mustache. I was impressed and extremely satisfied. Donna was very engaging and professional. I just wished that this barbershop and more importantly, Donna was closer as I would go nowhere else. I don't usually leave bad reviews but this isn't the first bad experience we have had in this shop. The first time we had come into the shop we had just moved into town and we didn't book an appointment. We were told we were uneducated and to make an appointment. I thought the guy was just having a bad day, but now I realize he's just rude and has no idea what customer service is. Today my husband and I showed up 5 minutes late to an appointment to get screamed at, accused of drinking, doing drugs and "fucking" all night. This is the worst service I have ever received in my life. For someone who yells about respect, you would think he would know how to show a little. Not a "Man's shop" I see no men. read more

Stopped by yesterday to get a haircut. Would've been my third time at Champion. Walked in at 1:45 PM. The sign out front says walk-ins welcome. Another sign by the front door said " first come first served". I was told by Hana that it would be a while that she had a 2 o'clock appointment, That I could use the chalkboard to make myself an appointment and come back at that time. So which is it "first come first serve" or is it the opposite "make an appointment"? I left and found somewhere else to receive a good haircut read more

It was the first time in years where a barber actually listened and cut my hair exactly how I wanted. I used to go to this shop (Champion Barber Shop, 361 S. Frontage Rd. ,Pahrump, Nv. ) for 10 years (Both Owners). Until yesterday. 04/10/17...While waiting an hour for my turn, I noticed he had a sign saying he disliked hats on his customers in his shop (???). Didn't think much of it until the customer he had just finished to which he said he did not like the fact that he wore a hat in his shop (A Navy Hat). This got my ire. I said to the owner "All Navy personnel must wear hats". To which the owner said to me "Get the f**k out of my shop." to which I responded as I was leaving and the same to you. Why? I was wearing a Navy hat too. By the way, the owner was wearing a hat while working too. I urge all veterans to avoid this shop in the future as we don't want to break his shop rule of wearing a hat there. What a BUTT. read more

I am a 52 year old male who doesn't understand the online appointments or how to make them well apperantly I made an appointment with jack but also Hana cause I like the way Hana cysts hair well when I got ther jack jumps in my face yells at me saying I wasted his time for an hour and I was like I made appointment with Hana he scared me so much I cried and ended up in the hospital cause he caused me to have a panic attack so bad and I feared that he was going to harm me. All they had to do was explain what went wrong and not treated bad. The customer service is horrible I recommend walking in and not making a appointment cause if you do it wrong you will get yelled at. But I will give credit Hana does cut hair good. I had to report the business to the BBB and I am looking into the matter if I want to sue for causing me to end up in hospital and posting a picture of me from their camera. It was worth it to spend $100+/month just to not get my hair chopped up like I'd visited a lawn service for a barber. Then my friend recommended Jack, which I was skeptical about. After my first cut, I was sold. The best, most consistent haircuts I've ever had! I'm a stickler when it comes to attention to detail and Jack has that naturally. Other "stylists" here in town would actually display their irritation when you pointed out areas that still needed touching up.
