What: beautiful bayalage for my teenage daughter by Nancy and (sorry I forgot your name!). Not sure what the color was but basically she asks you to send pictures in advance of what you want so it was caramel and they note down all the numbers for the future. Location: she is located inside the Sola Salons building which is a trippy concept where there are multiple businesses inside this building (nails, hair, massage, barber). Ambiance: her room is small with 3 chairs and two wash bins. She has snacks, water and plays great top hits! There are benches in the hallway or you can walk across the lot to the cafe. Cost: $255 plus tip. Time: they estimated minimum 3 hours but in the end it was 4 hours. Maintenance: this is an investment! So we bought from Amazon very expensive Redken color extend blondage. Since my daughter is on the swim team, the chlorine lightened her hair further even though she wears a swim cap. But it looked even better! Jocelyn was the other hair stylist as part of the four person crew. Wife went in with her ideas of how she wanted her style to look. This was my first time getting my haircut with Nancy. I was only in for a cut. She took off about 4 inches. I was going to have some bangs but she talked me out of it, thankfully. The end result was nothing short of amazing. I love how she cuts in sections. Not many stylists do that anymore. Mostly because of how fine my hair is. I've recently moved to Vegas last year so I had to switch my hair stylist. It was quite a struggle and stress I had put my hair through finding the right stylist but Nancy has been deemed my holy hair saviorI had gone to two different stylist prior to Nancy asking for the same ash blonde/beige balayage, each disappointing me even further to the point where I had to go back to dark. Had to wait half a year to allow my hair to recover before I felt ready to get my blonde fix. Nancy did a fantastic job in explaining my process but what really sold me was that she wanted to get me to where I wanted to be with the least amount of breakage. My process (a very porous and fragile hair) would be a two session, meaning that she would lighten my hair as much as she can in the first session without causing breakage and continuing the second session after a few weeks of letting my hair recover. I left the first session with shiny, soft golden balayage and the second session with beige balayage. I LOVE IT. She is now my go-to in Vegas area! Also I was always reluctant to trimming my hair because of wanting to achieve the long length but YOU MUST TRIM to reduce the breakage that will end up actually shortening your hair faster.
