We tried one other daycare closer to my work prior to Jillian's and had a terrible experience- for the exact same price!!! It is worth it for me to drive a little further just to keep him here. Jillian's has a great space outside, Scott has sent me pictures of my puppy while there to make me feel more comfortable, and he comes home just the perfect mix of tired but without me worrying that he didn't get a chance to rest all day. They group the dogs by side for play groups so I never had to worry that he was going to be trampled by bigger dogs. I had my brother in law pick my puppy up there once when I was stuck at work and Scott even called me to make sure it was OK. Came to find out that the dogs indeed get to go out and play for 10-15 min per hour. The rest of the time (45-50 min per hour) they are in a crate. Horrified, I told the girl at the desk I wasn't aware of this for the past month I had been bringing him, and her words in a very snarky tone were "Our daycare isn't a free for all"... So I let the last five days I bought in my package expire and we never went there again. PLEASE ask questions - even if it feels like a stupid question... like "will my dog have playtime all day if he needs it?" Since I only assumed that is what doggy daycare looked like. Found a way better place -also in Raynham- and my pup is tired and happy every day when I pick him up, plus I can see him playing when I walk in which I always wondered why you couldn't see any of the dogs at K9... Again, ASK QUESTIONS! And if you prefer your dog to just be in a crate all day, keep them home and save your money!

We were originally training at another recommended place by my vet. We were struggling in our training with his constant frustration and fears. I utilized the Doggie Day School one week for training and I noticed a difference in his demeanor and behavior quickly. The trainers were giving me tips and tricks to practice at home. When one day a trainer said to me he loves it here and he's such a good boy. Why don't you train here with us? From that moment we switched everything into them and he earned his Canine Good Citizens Title this year. They took an anxiety ridden, fearful, stubborn, yet lovey, goofy, high strung, crazy pooch that "most would have gave up on" and worked diligently with us both to become confident and in sync.
