If out on the road with your animals I recommend this place for a do it yourself bath for your four legged family members. Although this is something we don't really do we found this place that met all our needs. The only down side was the one lack of knowledge misinformed young employee at the cash register. Not to be confused with Pet Supplies Plush, which sell plushes for pets, which I'm sure they'll destroy within 5 mins. I always love these stores, and in fact I found my beloved Harley in one of these stores, up in New York. The sad part is seeing sad, caged cats looking for a home. The happy part is that they have some unique and interesting different cat foods and Pet Foods in general. It's a well-stocked store with friendly people and a pretty well run establishment from top to bottom at most locations, including this one in Raynham where we spent a good 20 minutes shopping. read more

I was calling around looking for a snake and I came across this place. Now my standards are usually pretty high, and I was engaged to someone who owned a pet store in Dartmouth. So when I say this place is amazing, I genuinely mean it. I walked in, not knowing a single thing about what I was doing. I was there just on an impulse buy and a few of the staff came over, were extremely helpful, helped me with everything I needed, walked me through the things I need to do to maintain Sammy (that's my snakes name) and his home, even the little things like little cues on body language and such. I had purchased a gecko from that store . After my purchase they put the gecko in a box. Mind you the box had an opening at the end where the gecko could escape . As I got home it was gone . I didn't see them put the gecko in . They just told me . That it was in there . So I believed them . I went back to that store . Told them the situation they looked at me if i was lying. And told me it never happened before . I was embarrassed and look like a lair . They told me there was nothing they could do . I will never but from there store again . If they had paid closer attention to the box they put it in. I would have the gecko and not waste money i don't have . Awful read more

Things have changed a bit at this location and it is time for an update. Prices have definitely gone up on some items I buy. Cans of cat food that I can get at other places for less than $2.50 are now over $3.00 here. Every time I have walked in over the past year the smell of the soiled cages of the hamsters, etc. is overwhelming. It's been super disorganized as well, with staff leaving empty boxes and other items out on the floor. I'll be less likely to stop by here when in the area. read more

Not sure how there pet supplies are but my girlfriend and I went to buy a small female guinea pig to go with our current female guinea pig. However after about 2-3 hours we noticed the guinea pig had lice! We took the guinea pig back to get treatment. Standard boilerplate stuff apply and topical cream observe overnight. Nope not here. It took 3 days for the poor guinea pig to get treated. Ontop of all that it was a male guinea pig so we couldn't keep it. This was quite an ordeal. Ill never go back to do with these incompetent people. read more

Unfortunately, I will no longer be going to any of these stores "Pet Supplies Plus." I loved this store and literally went almost every week. Except this time I had coupons that were for 2 for $10 on the PS+ dog toys (I asked kindly if this was true before checking out) and a man confirmed it to be true. I also had a coupon for $5 off a $30 purchase so I bought a dog bed and a couple of items for my bunny that would equal 30 or more. A lady helped me check out and signed me up for a rewards which was kind of her but she mistaken the 2 for $10 items. I didn't look at my receipt before I left so I didn't see the mistake. So I asked my mother when I got home to look it over to make sure I wasn't making a mistake myself and she confirmed that she mistaken the sales. My mother called the store and Holly (shift manager) answered, my mother was describing the situation to her and told her how the receipt doesn't make sense. Holly continued to say that my mother didn't know how to do math, even though my mom is a Civil Engineer. My mom explain this matter to her and then she HUNG UP the phone on a CUSTOMER. We weren't even going to go to the store that night because it was getting late and after that we went there immediately. My mother walked into the store and asked if she was the store shift manager that hung up on her and she said yes. Then my mom explained why the receipt didn't add up correctly and she continued to say that she didn't know how to do math. After this I said, "first off, my mother wasn't yelling or rude over the phone and second off you should never hang up on a customer." Holly then yelled out loud so the whole store could hear that "Because I'm dealing with rude customers." My Mom was very confused of why she even would act like this because she's an employee and then my mom made sure that everyone knew we were there to get approximately $5 back. Then I showed her were the 2 for $10 toys were and she was like "obviously you don't know how to read." I'm an A+ student that is on National Honors Society and worked my way up from being in special ed programs.. I don't appreciate someone saying I don't know how to read. After that happened I laughed at her because of how rude she was to me and my mother. I appreciated that she gave me all my money back but in the process of doing so I couldn't get it back on my card because I have a debit card so it said "DECLINED" and Holly said "that's your problem." After I told her that this was a debit card and you can't put money back on it she gave me cash. So I was on my way out and Holly said "hope to never see you again" (she said this about 3 times). NEVER will I ever go back to such a store that allows workers to treat customers like this. read more

Convenient location and good prices! I visit for fish supplies often and I've bought many items from this store. I've scored deals on tank decor, filter supplies, and hoods for my tanks. I do wish they had a slightly bigger selection on some items (for example, a variety of rock for aquarium, and better stock on shelves when they run out) but I've always had a positive experience at this store. read more

The manager Rob and his very professional and considerate group of talented associates always go above and beyond to help every customer and especially their furry friends. The store is continually adding new items and naturally stock all of the phenomenal regular and premium foods and pet care essentials. I have been going to Pet Supplies Plus in Raynham for many years. I have always had praise for everything and especially everyone at that store location. Only recently I was informed by someone in the store the current manager Rob would be leaving the facility this week for another job. The new position will allow him additional family time. I realize all companies have corporate regulations probably requiring management work nights and weekends. I understand. However when an individual is as outstanding in the position and truly respected by staff and customers as this particular manager perhaps rules should be altered for the benefit of the store as well as the customers. Prior to retirement I was in administration and an executive with several national corporations and realize the importance of retaining management for the positive and economic responsibilities of any retail environment. The pet and animal industry in the US is by far continually exceeding expectations because even during difficult financial times people still care about their animals. It may be perhaps the only stable relationship for many. As seen with cable television, animal channels and reality series involving animals usually surpass the most stringent TV ratings. That being said it will certainly be devastating to many to see Rob leave Pet Supplies Pus. He is incredible with customers, knowledge of the products, the sales staff, and yes always welcoming to pets. He is absolutely a phenomenal leader for your store. I will miss his presence and his dedication to the pet supply industry. I find it sad a corporation supposedly consecrated to promoting pet supply products would not take advantage of expertise when it is obviously demonstrated. I cannot express how much I have appreciated Rob's ability to always assist everyone. I am an animal advocate, a rescuer, an owner, and always a spokesperson for those who cannot speak for themselves. We are their voice. Rob is an example of everything good about those of us who help animals. I will always wish him the best in his future but I will truly miss him. Saving one dog or cat will not change the world... But it will change the world for that one dog or cat. As a changing climate upends their world, animals must adapt to survive. I love this store! Everyone that works there is very friendly. I feel like home when I go there. They are very knowledgeable there. This is the only place that I have come across who actually interact with the animals that are sold there. They will have the birds on their shoulders walking around so that the birds are not stuck in the cage all day. I have gone into Petco where the birds are kept caged up with no interaction at all. Birds need attention everyday to survive and Pet Supplies Plus gives them all the attention they need as well as the other animals that are sold there. I recommend this place over and over! read more
