I called to have a mainline cleaned out through a clean out 75 feet. I explained I was elderly and that we wanted to have a yearly maintenance plan. I called these guys to come fix a pipe leak. Granger showed up, diagnosed the problem immediately. It was late in the day on Friday so he did everything he could do to rush out and get the parts needed (a new pressure regulator) and worked diligently to get it installed that evening. I compared estimates after the fact and even though it was an emergency and he could have gotten away with charging more, he did not. Woke up to find out the hot water line failed to the kitchen sink, the slab floor felt like I have radiant heat. Called Granger, told him of the problem, and turned off the water at the tank. He stopped by the house in a couple of hours and verified the problem. We set a date (he was in the middle of a job and I had a work around) and he was on time, quick and clean to get it done. I used him on other tasks (E/Q valve install, setting pedestal sinks) with no issues, a true master tradesman and his pricing is fair. I should know, my dad was a G.C. Just wanted to give a shout out to both Granger and Murray. We had an issue in one of our bathrooms not getting hot water so they came out to check it out and repair it. From the initial call all the way to the repair, they both were highly professional. We have used Champion Plumbing several times. In 2017 we used Granger and his crew to replace a gas line that ran from the house to the pool heater. In 2018 they replaced water pressure regulator. Replaced a leaking shower valve without having to break open any tile. Installed a new gas flex line at the furnace with sediment trap. Also in 2018 when we returned home after being evacuated from the Wolsey Fire, the Fire restoration company found ground water that appeared to be leaking possible from under the ground. However didn't seem to stop leaking when we shut off all the water lines to,the house so the restoration company shut off the water at the street and I immediately called Champion Plumbing. Thank goodness I didn't have to leave a message and wait for a call. I had a live person on the line in two rings. Granger said he would head right over and was out to the home in just a few minutes. It was determined and quite obvious that our main water line had busted under our driveway. Granger offered us a solution that would save us from ripping up the driveway and a long wait to get water back to the home. He rerouted the main line and we had running water by the next day. We have also had them out to clear clogged pipes. We have always felt that Champion Plumbing prices were fair. They are punctual, professional and get the job done quickly without cutting any corners. I cannot thank Champion Plumbing for always coming to our rescue and for fixing things right the first time. If fact I was just looking for a company to come and clean out our storm drains and realized that plumber offer that service. So I'm off to call Granger once again hoping they offer the service. Called Murray and he called me back quickly and actually was a huge help even over the phone. At this time I didn't need his services as a neighbor friend of mine was involved & determined on helping me with my kitchen sink faucet installation that I wasn't too sure he could do. All said & done Murray mentioned about an important valve to make sure we got and that was SUPER HELPFUL so I highly thank him for that. I was informed of his services through a next door neighbor that he helped quickly. I WILL 100% be using Murray in the future as my go to plumber he speaks English very well, is honest & attentive, and was very helpful regardless I sadly didn't need his services just yet on this one. I asked for a ballpark number and he caught attitude and said no he needs to come out. He then recommended I go with Mike Diamond who has the worst reviews on Yelp. I would give that jerk negative 10 if I could. He snaked my drains about a year ago, charged about $300. I'm in a bad mood so I'm writing another review. A week after he snaked my drains the problem came back. First he argued with me tag at it had been 2 weeks, like that should matter. This is one of the most unprofessional people I've ever met. All he did was yell at me when I called to tell him that I was having back flow again after 2 weeks. He was so mad about the bad review I gave him on yelp. The reason I gave him a bad review was because he didn't tell me he couldn't take credit cards for some BS reason and I had to pay him with my mortgage cash. The guy charged me $280 for a incomplete job. He refused to come out or give me my money back. To fix the problem cost me $500. I thought and started then erased but I owe it to my 17 year old son. I hired Granger to fix a toilet that ultimately needed replaced but ended up rocking. I had him and his brother out twice to fix a dishwasher exhaust value that water was back flushing. He said it was the wrong pipe that was installed 10 years ago . He replaced a portion of pipe and top . A week latter the pipe blew off. Why he was sky diving his brother came back and tightened the same pipe. Thank god for my 17 year old son since I have a partially torn rotator cuff he wedged and caulked the toilet and ran a snake threw the line and put drain down all lines. These guys were top notch on service and punctuality. I called them looking for an estimate on some work for a condo that had lots of little things that needed repair and adjusting. Granger and Murray really are as good as it gets. Responsiveness and a desire to get things right were what made me appreciate Champion. I needed a couple things repaired in our home. Both Granger and Murry were prompt in arriving to fix our issue. They took their time to explain exactly what they were going to do. As 1st time home owners of a 54 year old house, my wife and I tend to ask a lot of questions, but neither became annoyed and carefully addressed each of our concerns. One of the issues was covered under our home warranty. While Champion didn't charge the ridiculously low prices typical of home warranty rates, Granger went out of his way to call our home warranty to explain the situation so that we could recover as much as possible. He definitely didn't have to do that. We are very appreciative of that. When Murray finished his work, he took the time to walk me through the house and through any spot where water pressure had any direct impact to ensure and show me that everything was working properly. A day after the work was complete, Granger called back to check on the work he did knowing that due to an underlying issue, there may be more work necessary beyond the work he quoted. There was a slight drip in the spout and he came back the next day to fix it without charging us extra. While he could have said, "yeah, we need to rip out the tub and get into the walls," and charge us a lot more money, he found a way to not to have to do that. read more

Granger came to take a look at my water tank buckling on my tank stand. He told us the stand is very strong and that I shouldn't worry about it. What a relief! I also mentioned wanting to put tankless to save some space but he thought it was not necessary because it was just the two of us. It is so refreshing to see anyone let alone a business owner who is so honest and not take advantage of a customer with an endless sales pitch. We decided that in 2 or 3 years the tank will most likely die and when that time comes we would ask him for a new tank and installation. Champion Plumbing - these guys are real champs, came to my place to fix some loose and leaking toilets and leaking sink pipe, only small jobs, and they made very quick work of it. I really like these guys - Granger and Murray. These are both stand up guys that I would gladly entrust my place to - i don't usually let strangers into my house, and i hate having to call people to fix stuff due to most people being untrustworthy criminals, but like i said, i can leave my place to these guys all day long and not even worry one bit.
