We had an emergency where our dishwasher suddenly stopped working. We had some one come out to assess the situation and they told us that the 6 year old dishwasher's control panel had been broken. When we looked it up, it was better to get a new dishwasher instead of replacing the broken controls. After going through a nightmare situation with the delivery of the new dishwasher, the install service by Gilbert could not have gone any better. We live in a townhome and he brought up the new model from the first floor (with a little help from yours truly), installed in a timely fashion, checked all avenues to ensure there weren't any issues (i.e. leaks, clogs, etc) and took away the old washer all in one go. Called Apex for a recurring clog issue. They were able to fit me in the next day. Zagee texted before his arrival. He listened to my description of the problem and after evaluating the plumbing set up (back to back sinks with a tricky draining connection), explained several scenarios/complications that might need to be dealt with to unclog the sinks and provided a very reasonable quote. I hired A1 Apex Plumbing in January of 2025 to install an upgrade to my kitchen faucet. Jaime from A1 Apex Plumbing arrived on Thursday, January 23rd and spent the majority of the day at my home. He needed a part to connect something under my sink and left twice to go shopping for it. He finally found it, returned and finished the installation. Friday evening I received a text from my downstairs neighbor, Harvey who lives directly beneath me in Unit 116. He had observed water dripping down from his ceiling, from a recessed light specifically, and texted me a video of the water dripping down onto his wood flooring. He asked us if we were running our dishwasher (my husband was at the time) and we turned it off immediately. I called A1 Apex Plumbing and spoke to Michael. I explained that we may have a problem with our plumbing related to the kitchen faucet installation. I explained that my neighbor had called a plumber and that we simply wanted to be able to speak with the plumber who had done the installation as well as a different plumber that had replaced two angle stops in the kitchen on January 3, 2025. Ultimately, my husband and I discovered water under our kitchen sink in the wooden cabinet leaking from the area Jaime had done the work. I sent subsequent photos and video to Michael or Michel at A1 Apex Plumbing. He sent Jose and Luis from A1 Apex Plumbing to my home. They took a look at the area underneath my kitchen sink and determined that Jaime had failed to seal two hoses together using Teflon (tape). And so it was plumber error that caused the leak. I literally have the two of them on video showing and explaining the problem that caused the leak - which was caused by A1 Apex Plumbing. They quickly fixed the leak. However, our kitchen cabinet has damage to it. In addition, there was significant damage to my downstairs neighbor's kitchen - his ceiling and wood flooring are damaged. I had used A1 Apex Plumbing because they were not only licensed but bonded. I texted Michael regarding getting our receipt for our records, as well as receiving their insurance information. I also emailed their office requesting both things. I later called to follow up requesting both items yet again. I then texted another person at A1 Apex Plumbing and requested both items. The leak occurred between installation on Thursday, January 23rd and Friday, January 24th. By Monday afternoon on January 27th, I had not received ANY response from Michael, from my additional text messages, phone calls or emails over the weekend. None. Nothing. I was told I would receive both items by email. Hours later, I had received NOTHING from them. I called several times afterwards and was promptly HUNG UP ON. Twice. I have spent time researching this YELP recommended, HIGHLY RATED plumbing company. I have spent cumulatively over $1400 in January alone for their plumbing services. Due to their plumber's error, I sustained damage to my condo as did my downstairs neighbor's unit. And, subsequent to determining the leak was their error, I was not only GHOSTED but HUNG UP on while trying to get a RECEIPT plus INSURANCE INFORMATION which are both STANDARD business practices. So I texted the main number at A1 Apex Plumbing and indicated it was not particularly polite or business appropriate to HANG UP twice on a paying customer. What kind of circus is being run over at A1 Apex Plumbing where simple business transactions between clients and plumbing company not only are held hostage but subsequently ghosted and evasive? I am literally CHASING every single person that works at the company to glean the little bit of information received thus far which frankly wasn't much. The insurance claims required for assistance to repair my home as well as my neighbors condo have not been filed. I was finally given A1 Apex Plumbing's insurance information and told to contact them directly and file our claims. However, after speaking to their insurance company, they told me the claim must be filed by A1 Apex Plumbing. I have called every person I know at A1 Apex Plumbing with little to no response. So once again we are WAITING on a resolution from a company that is almost non responsive. So glad I paid good money for this. But they did get our check finally. My assessment: DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT USE. DO NOT RECOMMEND. RUN FAR. RUN FAST. IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION BEFORE USING THESE ENTITLED, OBNOXIOUS PEOPLE WHO HAVE TAKEN OUR BUSINESS FOR GRANTED and PROVIDED NO SUPPORT FOR THEIR ERROR AND DAMAGES TO OUR HOMES. Ziggy from apex diagnosed and fixed the drain problem quickly turns out a wash cloth had somehow gotten in the main line he ran a camera let us know what the charge would be to snake it. Showed video of the clog and even removed the 25 ft snake that was stuck and knotted up that I could not remove. Another service quoted 8k for new line while apex fixed it for just a couple hundred. March 18th, Sagee came to my house to fix my leaking shower. He was a delight to work with! Sagee takes the time to explain things to you and will show you exactly what is wrong. There was a broken shower cartridge that had been forced in and it took him a hot minute to pry it out (seemed like a DIY fail). I told him about my concern of tree roots potentially clogging up my sewer line and he used the flexible camera to show me root infiltration wasn't bad, but that there were some shifts in the line that would need to be addressed in the future. He did this extra work for free! Fees are very reasonable particularly because the issue is completely addressed with no rework needed. This company is my new go to!
