Matthew responded quickly to schedule an complimentary appointment with one of their plumber the next day. Joe was the person who came and he arrived on time. He first told me I could just do it myself and showed me what I had to do. I told him I needed a license plumber to do it per the home insurance requirements even though it's just replacing the bad unit with a newer one. He give me the price they charge and also other stuff I needed to do so everything continues to work properly. I appreciate his expert advice and time on coming out to give me an estimate. Cannot say enough good things about Josh. Absolute great, transparent guy. He made a lasting customer out of us. We will always call rockstar moving forward and request him for any plumbing issues we have. He fixed what we thought was going to be a major plumbing issue with our jet bath tab in matter of minutes by tightening a valve in a panel in the back of our house. No BS or trying to upsell / claim it was something else. A prior quote and plumber from another company was claiming we needed to replace a PRV valve and that it was all related to a pressure imbalance. They were not able to diagnose the true issue and didn't even look for the back panel like Josh was able to do. He also installed our new kitchen faucet in minutes. Great conversation the whole time. We needed our water heater replaced and Richardo was sent who is a journeyman plumber. Everything on the installation went well and Ricardo was quick enough in getting us that hot water we needed. There was one little problem with Ricardo leaving the tank out in front of our property overnight and I wasn't fan of this. The old water heater should have been taken away, same day. The next morning I had to call and be a little curt with Josh because I felt they were not prioritizing the water heater pickup in a professional way. In fact I had to remind Josh that we paid over $3600 for the privilege of them taking away the old one. Ten minutes later after my call, they picked up the old tank. Not a huge fan with the way that was handled. Ricardo is a nice guy but he and Josh do not seem to prioritize or properly manage their time and it's very important to remove unsightly refuse from the customer's property as soon as possible. I called Rockstar and they were able to have someone come out within an hour for an emergency on a Monday morning. Josh came on-site, was on time and was super helpful. He was honest and able to walk me through the process of loosening stuck valves for my washer without having to replace the entire unit. Our water heater stopped working in the middle of the afternoon and Rockstar was my first call. They sent Ricardo, who was great with my wife and me, and he let me know that the unit was 17 years old and the replacement parts to repair it would take at least a week (with no hot water) to get. So, we made the decision to replace it. Ricardo showed up the next morning with a helper and quickly and efficiently removed the old unit and installed the new one. We only had to go about 12 hours without hot water, we have more capacity now and couldn't be happier! read more

So they showed up.... That got them the first star. A lot of plumbers don't show. Dunno why. I had a problem that I've had many times, and another problem that only shows up once in a while, and that I lack the equipment to fix. I do know how to do it, and sometimes I do, but then there are days when i don't feel like being a plumber. This was one of them. I was happy to stand around and backseat drive though, which, I'm sure, is super annoying to the actual plumbers out there. The thing is, I know my plumbing well, and I am very rarely wrong in matters of plumbing at a house that I've owned for almost 30 years. So the Rockstar arrives, and he's not an experienced plumber. Well, he's experienced enough, I guess, to ignore everything the customer says. But I say it anyway, and he looks like he's listening but then starts to tell me what I need to do. (I need a new sewer pipe to the street) Which is not what i need), so I cajole him into doing the two things that i had originally requested (snake out the kitchen drain from the top and snake and flush the washer drain to get rid of accumulated sand and grit from the washer. ) He reluctantly does this, and it fixes the problem. He insists that I still need a new sewer pipe. So i tell him get the camera out and have a look. "That's $250" I said "if there's a problem with the drain, you can fix the pipe and you credit back the 250. Otherwise no charge" He agrees. He charged me $200 for the other stuff. The sewer pipe was fine. That got them their second star. Still, he whipped out estimates for the sewer pipe, and for another task he thought I needed (which i will, eventually, but for 6K? No thanks.) I'm sure this company is not dishonest or corrupt, they just sent a journeyman plumber who lacked the experience to accurately diagnose the issue. Would a more experienced plumber have listened to me? Doubtful. Good plumbers are hard to find. And when you do find one, keep him forever because an experienced plumber who's familiar with your pipes is a rare and valuable thing. I'm not saying i won't use them again. And if I do, I'm requesting the same guy, because this time, I know he'll listen to me. and my response to the response: what other plumber? And the rockstar plumber may have installed a cap... but i don't think so. II was open mrto using your company again because i liked the guy you sent out. Called and someone from this company did a video call and quoted me outrageous prices for installation of new dishwasher and three new under sink valves. The break down was $200 each valve and $600 for dishwasher installation. My new dishwasher didn't cost me that much. read more

This was my go to company to get everything forced when it came to plumbing's the plumber used to come in and examine the problem. Give me suggestions and a solution to the problem. They used to care about helping me as a customer. A few months ago my water heater was not working. Asked them to come in and look at it. The plumber did not touch the water tank. Did not look for a cause of the problem. He didn't even come within 5 feet of it. He just spent the next 10 minutes giving me quotes for a brand new water heater and a quote for adding something to the water heater. I said no thanks. Turned off the water heater. Turned it back on and it has been working better than ever since. Too bad I won't be calling them anymore. ---------------- This is a rebuttal to the comment. A plumber should inspect and diagnose the issue--leaks, sediment buildup, or faulty components like the thermostat or heating element could be fixable. Repairs might cost $100-$500, depending on the problem. I asked how much to fix it and I only got quotes for a new one. read more

I've been calling Rockstar Plumbing for a while now. They are reliable, fast, and professional. I've used them for services like hydrojetting, garbage disposal, faucet repair, clogged pipes. All have been great. I recently had my dishwasher water overflowing through the air gap. I reached out to Rockstar Plumbing to get a quote for installing a new faucet in my bathroom sink. Simple enough, right? Well, apparently not. The gentleman who answered the phone informed me that they don't provide pricing over the phone. Instead, they insist on coming out to see the job in person before giving a quote. Now, I get it--some jobs require an in-person assessment. But let's be real--if I just need a toilet unclogged, do you really need to inspect it first before telling me how much it'll cost? Come on. This feels less like a necessary step and more like a tactic to get a foot in the door, put the customer under pressure, and secure the job on the spot. Needless to say, I didn't go with Rockstar Plumbing. I called someone else, got a quote upfront, and moved on with my life. If your business model relies on making customers feel trapped, maybe consider offering free estimates--or, better yet, some actual customer service. I never got to find out if Rockstar Plumbing does great work, because they didn't even give me a chance. And guess what? Next time I need plumbing services, I still won't be calling them. I've used Rockstar Plumbing numerous times, and this last time was truly critical - my area drains were not draining during heavy rains, and if left unattended would literally flood my garage. Matt came out to diagnose the issue, and after a camera inspection quickly assessed what needed to be done. Josh and his crew jumped on it right away and came back the next day to jack-hammer a trench to expose the drain pipe section that needed to be replaced - they did the work cleanly and quickly, and took care of the issue all in one day. So deeply happy I found these guys. Formerly I used Adeedo, who did good work, but their prices had gotten astronomical. Like hideously bad. So I found Rockstar on Yelp and I am grateful for it. The prices they charged were 1/4 to 1/2 of Adeedo(not kidding), and the service was extraordinary. Chris and his partner came by to fix an outside hose bib, put in a new toilet, and fix a couple other toilets. At every step it was done with a smile and customer service at the forefront of everything they did. They recommended a great new toilet at Costco and saved me a bunch of money. Dallas on the phone was super polite and helpful and got our repair scheduled immediately in the early morning on a Monday. Josh came out and did the work promptly and with excellent workmanship. I've called rockstar plumbing on two separate occasions for two separate issues. One for my shower backing up and another for my toilet backing up. When I call they ask good questions related to whatever issue I'm having. They usually come the same day and work on the issue immediately.
