I've had a reoccurring plumbing issue every few months. Every person I've called only did a band-aid fix on it. Having had enough, I reached out to Champion Plumbing Service as a first time customer. This was after I've failed on getting someone to come check on it out due to no availability for the next 2-3 weeks... You can imagine my fear of what the water bill would look like with a constant leak. The service rep was able to quickly schedule an appointment for the next day. Got an email to confirm the appointment and got a text when they were on their way. Shawn came to assess the situation in detail and proposed a permanent fix to me. This fix required people to come dig to access the pipes. I was concerned about scheduling availability and how long this would take. However, Shawn was able to get his excavators the next morning, fixed the issue by noon. By late afternoon, the excavators put everything back and you can't even tell they were there. Overall, excellent service! Showed up on time and quickly got it resolved! Shawn took the time to explain the process to me and was flexible to make sure that it didn't impede on my work day. What a great experience!! So happy I called Champion Plumbing services with my plumbing problem. I was able to get an actual human on the phone within 2 rings, and then, able to get on the schedule for the same day to have problem looked at within 5 minutes. And if all that doesn't sound great, it gets even better. John sent me a text message letting me know he was in route over an hour and a half ahead of the scheduled time and got here one hour before the appointment. What?!? That never happens. He shows up and his very mindful of being socially distanced while taking all the precautions he could to keep my home clean while working on my problem. I can't say enough about John Simmons from Champion Plumbing. He came today to address an issue that another company said had been taken care of 3 months ago that cost us $12k. The problem reoccurred last week and the original company came out again. However, I wasn't confident in their work due to issues that we had during the first repair. I decided that I needed a second opinion. So, I called Champions. When he arrived, John listened to me describe the history of the problem and then told me what he could do today. He told me that by the end of his time here today, he would know our plumbing! I should mention that this is an almost 60 year old home. He went to work and by the time that he left the problem was resolved. Since he was here, I also asked him to look at a toilet that didn't seem to be seated properly. He did and while he was testing the original issue, he pulled the toilet and reseated it. I also have to say that in every part of my home that he touched, he cleaned the area after he completed his work. I appreciate the fact that he was very honest with me and paid attention to what I was saying. As he was leaving, he told me if the issue reoccurred, to call him and what our next step would be before tunneling under the house and replacing the original cast iron pipes. I appreciate his honesty and how hard he worked today to resolve our issues. We had a dishwasher connected and 8 cartridges in the bathroom faucets replaced by two "plumbers" from Champion Plumbing this past fall. Friendly people but a little pricey. Some time back, we came to realize they installed 4 of the cartridges in the master bathroom backwards. (?) Interesting work product for what is supposed to be a master (?) plumber. Excellent quality work done--A+! We called Champion Plumbing for an Attic water leak,and John was able to give us the earliest schedule he can come to fix the issue. I noticed a leak at the bottom of the bedroom wall on a Saturday evening. The repairman appeared 30 minutes after calling Commode wax ring needed be be reset but we weren't sure if that was the total problem. Water was left on over the weekend. I placed two fans on the area to dry it out. 3 guys returned on Monday to further investigate the problem. They used a camera to look into the area but there was no definite conclusion. Ended up cutting a hole in the sheetrock to make sure. Everything was dry so no further work was needed. read more

I visited my daughter and son in law in Spring Tx last month, and before I went I called John at Champion Plumbing to see if he would give me an estimate to fix a water heater. They are struggling with finances at the moment and have no running car, so we just needed to get an estimate so that they could put it on the list of things to do. John said that was fine, and the day he was coming, he got tied up at another job, so sent Shawn, who was very nice, but was not aware of the circumstances. He gave us an estimate, and ordered the part for the water heater that was under warranty, and had it go to their business - not knowing that we would not be able to do the work right away. So when the part came, I knew that it would be awhile before the work could be done, and was afraid it would be lost before they could afford to fix it. In the meantime, I was back home in California and they had no way to get the part. John was so nice, and drove it out to them!! It was far beyond the call of duty, and it was SO much appreciated. At least they will have the part available and ready when they can finish the work. Thank you so much for being flexible and so nice. Just horrible! I called about having my bathtub drain stoppers replaced with those that do not require an allen wrench or screw driver to open. I also asked to have my water heater inspected and drained. (After a 1 second review, he concluded my water heater was great.) This plumber had no idea of the various styles of bathtub drain stoppers available, forcing me to go on to the internet to show him which types did not require a tool to open. He suggested the only drain stopper he could recommend was those white rubber stoppers you find in 1930s homes. Owing to his insecurity over his lack of knowledge and experience, he grew defensive and rude telling me I was aggresive (meaning, I was daring to ask him questions). After claiming he may have to knock out a wall to replace the drain stopper and that he may have to get a snake to remove the hair from one of the bathtub drain wells (which was absolutely not necesary), I asked him to leave. The owner, John, defended this horrible behavior and lack of experience of his technician. read more
