Working with them was a fabulous experience. It's hard to describe what it feels like when you walk into the bathroom and see a puddle of water on the floor and then look up and see a bulging dripping ceiling. They had worked on something for a relative of mine who made the recommendation and so I called Joe the Plumber right away. I didn't know if this was a super serious problem or not, and I had an important engagement where I had to run out soon. They shifted things around and sent Jimy to the house to work on my crisis (thankfully not as bad as I had first thought). He explained everything, was very friendly and was the sort of person where you can build immediate confidence. Definitely could tell he was a professional. they were really bad did not get the job done, was not a good value either, all I wanted was to see if they could check the pipes.

They left black greasy hand, and fingerprints on my doors, countertops and sinks, broken crumbs of insulation on my attic steps trailing from the garage into my house. I realized the next day that they did a clean-out on my grass curbside, the mess was also on the pathway from my front door on their way out leaving a mess. I had to pick out wet tissue, and grime out of the grass. These people also upcharged us an extra $200+ for a toilet supply line. Sloppy and inconsiderate of how they treated my home inside and outside. I will check before anyone leaves my house from now on, sadly can't trust. Watch people that come into your home, and check their work before they leave in a hurry. Lesson learned. read more

Was recommended them in an emergency after my water heater ruptured. Regret it because they charged me $297 to look at my setup and quote me for a replacement. Said replacement was a tankless option for $5999 for a Navien 240a system. Went with Texans Water Heaters who put in a Navien 240a2 system for $4800. So almost 300 to get a quote. Writing this on behalf of my elderly grandmother. There was a strong smell of gas so she called this clownshow. Showed up promptly but was not competent in knowing what a gas line is. Only service they provided was spraying soap and water on the gas fittings and found no leaks- BUT CHARGED THIS LITTLE OLD LADY $300! (Mind you this was already done by us- so we knew that wasn't the problem) I wouldn't trust them to even change a shower head! read more

My husband and I called out a plumber in the morning for a tankless water heater going out that was only three years old. He left, couldn't do anything for us. I called Joe the plumber and Cody came out to our house the same day and completely replaced our tankless water heater. Stayed here about seven hours to make sure the problem was fixed. Everything was replaced and working to his level of satisfactory when he left our house at 8:12 on a Friday night. Horrible price gouging. We left a message and sent an email to be on their waitlist after the freeze. The day the plumber was supposed to come, of course, he was hours late. Then once he arrived he tried for maybe a half hour to order the parts he determined were needed to fix our tankless water heater, then told me I should try to order the parts. I asked for a quote for them to fix it and he said he'd get back to me the next day. Never heard from him, so I called and spoke with a lady who said shed call me right back. Guess what, she never did. Two days later I called and asked for her, and she said "oh he never gave me the quote, hold on". Only a couple minutes later she magically found the quote. $4,500! I asked her for a breakdown of parts, labor, etc, and this is what I got via email a few minutes later. No model numbers or anything. I asked more questions and learned the water heater they were going to install retails for $1399, so they were going to charge me $3100 to install it!! I ended up buying a water heater on my own and had another plumber install to for $250. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Two busted pipes from the freeze of February 2021. Filled out the info on their website and was contacted the next morning. Was given a reasonable time for an appointment but, when I asked if the appointment was for a free estimate, I was told that it was for a plumber to come out and do the work...no estimate. When I questioned someone coming out to work without knowing the cost, I was told that an estimate was $187.00! They could come out and charge a person an outrageous amount and when the customer declines, Joe the Plumber walks away with $187.00. What a massive ripoff! However, I am very pleased with the quality of care, service, honesty, knowledge, and thoroughness. The plumber not only fixed the problem at the initial visit but also found another cause of the recurring new construction issue. That in turn led to another discovery which has been resolved. We are grateful for their work ethic and diligence to resolve the issues. Mr. Wilbert Roberson came to my house this past Saturday, 10/03/20, to give me a repipe estimate and to find a pipe leak. He did what another plumber didn't even try. Instead of just standing on the attic steps and guessing about the leak, he actually went over to the general area and dug through the insulation and found the leak. He was able to repair it in a timely fashion. He also replaced the main cutoff valve in the house because it was leaking badly around the stem. The valve had been in place for almost 50 years and it was worn out. His professionalism and thoroughness was very refreshing to experience. I'm glad he came to my house. read more

The plumbers Will and Josh arrived on time and I was even called approximately thirty minutes prior to their arrival. Service was performed quickly and efficiently. They completed the job in about an hour. Both guys were courteous and knowledgeable. They completed the job and it met my expectations. We previously used Joe the Plumber and had no issues. I guess that we pushed our luck. We asked Joe the Plumber to install a new toilet. Before the plumber left, my husband noticed the toilet and/or tank rattled. The plumber blamed the tank lid. He also said we had 7 days to report any issues. After a day or so, we noticed the toilet or tank was rocking and water was leaking onto the floor. We called to have the issue fixed within the 7 day period. The plumber came back to the house and leveled the toilet. When I noticed a charge on our bank statement, we contacted Joe the Plumber because the repair should have been covered by the warranty period. We were told that the problem with the rocking was our fault. Apparently we were supposed to do the plumber's job for him and level the toilet. Buyer beware. Please be careful when using the services of Joe the plumber. We don't want the same thing to happen to you. read more

Problem: Water main valve busted while I was attempting to secure the water main. Knob came out and water went everywhere! David Fernandez came to my house without hesitation at 900 at night. The scope of the job turned for the worst when one of the unions did not work. David drove back to the shop in Cypress (I live in midtown), assembled a valve and returned at 1100 pm! He fix the issue with a SMILE! He is a great guy and the customer service David and the company displayed was top notch! Gotta be the most honest plumbing company I have encountered. I am a maintenance man for 16 properties all over Houston and these guys go the distance and never complain over the nasty stuff. Free quote cost $87... We had someone from the gas company come out and showed us several places where the gas line outside was leaking. Called joe the plumber the same day and they sent someone out two days later. The plumber could not find any of the leaks the gas company showed us (except one inside an appliance they can't fix, which is fine) then charged me $87 to check for gas leaks again. They did not disclose that there would be a charge before checking for leaks. Not very helpful. read more

Had 2 problems, water heater went out and a leak from a 2nd floor bath. David was sent out, he seemed highly competent at his job, and had a professional demeanor and attitude. He was able to replace my water heater and identify the leak (a previous plumber couldn't find). I was impressed with the front office staff. I needed someone to come on a Saturday and do work, and I was able to text a photo to tell them what I was needing, and they were able to come on a weekend. However, the work was shoddy at best. The plumber came to fix the handle on the master shower, and replaced one part, but did not put the face plate back on, and left a gaping hole, while charging over $400 for a half done job. read more
