Delivery- 4/5 The positive: Communicative and called ahead of time to let us know they were 30 mins away. What needs improvement: The delivery men mentioned that they were NOT given the correct tools to finish the job of leveling out the panels on the fridge or what was needed for installation of the fridge upon delivery, because they "switched delivery trucks on them". Unfortoley, that leaves us the customer, waiting for them to come back and finish the job they were paid for. It's been a week, and we are still waiting for them to come back and level out the panels on the fridge. This is either the delivery men's lack of preparation before delivery or the owners' lack of structure to ensure delivery has what they need for all to go as needed.

What a breeze for us! After moving into our new home, we then needed a new washer and dryer, so back to West. We got a steal on our new Maytag Washer and Dryer and wow, do they work? Commerical products in our home... I feel so luxurious. I will always recommend West Appliances for any new appliances. A few scratches or dents do not bother me and the price is always better than Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon, or any other box store. I WILL BE BACK WEST!

Lack on knowledge on financing and billing. Now I'm trapped in a extensive 6 month payment plan with a $100 more rate than what they told me. Customer service never answers the phone and America First Financing you l refuse to adjust the contract. They sold me on something I could afford and then trapped me in a much higher unaffordable payment plan. No one helped and the manager was sarcastic. He blamed the miscommunication on the sales person being new and basically told me there's nothing they can do because the machine has been delivered. Mine you, I went to talk to them about this issue on the day of the delivery. DO NOT GO THERE. EVERY ONE IS ALL SMILES UNTIL YOU BUY. I wish I would've seen these reviews before I went there. I don't see people counter, like John L describes, at the entrance. But there are plenty of distancing markets near cash registers and plexiglass enclosures at full service counters. Employees are working as hard to keep everyone safe. I don't need to ask anyone anything, because the app is friendlier than human. That's 100 times better than searching for employees to help. Except for today. I needed a decorator chain to be measured and cut for a project. The young man who helped me was really patient. I didn't get his name. My recent project was to hang 2 chain links from my bedroom ceiling. I want a removable curtain rod hanging from the chains as a backdrop when I go to virtual meetings. It was successful. I was glad that I found all materials at The Home Depot to complete this project. Although I didn't come here for home improvement, I sure made my work from home space more comfortable.

They have items that other store are coming there to buy and resale at their stores. I know they got a low rating but try them for yourself. Understand that other vendors that don't want these guys around. They're cheaper and better than the other stores because I've been to most of them. They all told me that they can't compete with this place and they don't know how these guys can have prices so low. What does that sound like to you? They were able to get the part within a couple of days of diagnosing the problem, were able to pick up the washer as soon as the part arrived, and took almost no time at all to return! Roy is running a fine establishment and I highly suggest coming to check place out. He's a nice family man, who genuinely works for his customers and will do his best to keep them happy. BUYER BEWARE. This business has a lovely website boasting "family owned", "39 years in business",…read more"expert technicians", "same day service", etc. Website looks legit. But here's the REAL STORY... We are elderly and found ourselves in a situation that we had to move and unexpectedly purchase appliances. To save money I started shopping for scratch & dent appliances. We found what we thought was a new LG Refrigerator and LG Washer/Dryer from this place. We were thrilled and relieved to find just what we wanted and, as you can see on the receipt, they also delivered for a reasonable charge. We delayed delivery because our home was under construction. Once we were ready, that's when all things changed. I was told delivery would be $150. When I questioned why HIS EMPLOYEE executed a document showing that the delivery was $69, he told me I should take it up with that employee and that I was welcome to come pick everything up on my own. I had no choice but to pay the $. Then they didn't show up for 2 days later than expected. When asked if they connected everything, they told me they could tell me what to buy and, for an ADDITIONAL CHARGE if $50, they would come back later. I dismissed them as I wasn't going to continue to get scammed. Once delivered, we found that the refrigerator was EXTREMELY USED, not scratch & dent. It had to be deeply sanitized as some things were not apparent in the store. The dryer has to go through 3 cycles before clothes are dry. The worst, though, is the refrigerator completely quit cooling 18 days after we started using it. I called and called and got no answer, so I called my own appliance mechanic. When he pulled the back off the fridge, he found the original compressor had been replaced by an off-brand compressor, the wiring harness, consequently, had to be taken off because of the different compressor and something called a hard starter had been installed to (sort of) jump start the compressor to force it to start each time. It was overheating to the point it could have started a fire! The following day I called the business immediately after opening at 9:10 AM. I was told a service man would be in within the hour and he would have them call me. Three hours later, I called again. Same response. I called a third time, same thing. While we were shopping for our new refrigerator in Lowe's, 7 1/2 hours later, I FINALLY heard from him. (So much for "same day service"! He told me he suspected a power surge. Sure! It must be MY fault. He said he'd bring out a loaner for me and bring mine in for repair. WHO DOES THAT??? This isn't a car dealership! Come fix my refrigerator! That was the last I have heard from him. He may call, he may not. I wish I could do more than just write a bad review. I wish I could dump this paper weight of a refrigerator full of spoiled food and medication on the driveway of his business. I'll just have to depend on karma biting him in the butt!
