I am a former student who attended this school a little over a decade ago back when they were located in Saratoga near harker and it is sad to see it has not changed one bit. The principal's attitude is the same, as they have always been mean, manipulative, ignorant, and horrible to both parents and students. Their no homework rule put me at a huge disadvantage when I left after grade 4 and made me struggle to catch up to others for three year at one of the best public school districts in the Bay Area. Additionally, I have been made to cry numerous times and have gotten disciplined for the most absurd reason such as calling the grade I was in "Grade 4" instead of the level they assigned to it. Also for most of my final year there I was bullied by two students in particular who turned the entire class against me and made my life there hell. And the teachers refused to take action at all and kept telling me I was the problem and the troublemaker when all I wanted was a comfortable environment. The principals both have called me to the office numerous times and made me cry over the stupidest things. Also I have to admit I was behind some other students and instead of providing me with the attention or assistance I needed, the teachers would repeatedly call on the class toppers to answer questions or for general engagement. Also they didn't offer a lot of extra subjects like art, music, technology science, and various others that are offered at the public school level. If you are looking to enroll your kids here I would stray away from it as based on the reviews I recently read it seems to still be a bad environment for our youth. Not sure if they are still in business but hopefully a student perspective helps make you choice easier and help you save a lot of money. It is a very toxic environment that accepted bullying and mental unrest. Might not be the best place for your children. I have wanted to post a review for a while but forgot and recently this school came up in conversation and made me realize all the torture I went through. I went to this school when I was 13 and I have many memories that will stick with me for the rest of my life. I remember feeling that the experience/ qualifications the staff had were not up to standard. Especially when I would face punishment by having to sit in chairs made for toddlers, writing the same phrase over and over again. Sometimes when I was working on my punishment, I would listen in on the classes around me and I noticed that the teachers with thick Indian accents were teaching white children to read with accents. I also remember having to dissect many different animals; for example: pig, frog, pregnant cat and fetuses, and others. Something I would say is my biggest issue with this school was with the standards the students were held to versus the standards the staff and school operated within. When it was lunch or after school ended, many students would get crammed into the cafeteria area and made to wait until their parents came or until the meal was over. The school seemed built to prioritize smaller bodies too which was hard once you're experiencing puberty. Lastly, the biggest issue of them all, was when the entirety of my class failed and had to go to summer school. To me that felt like a way to profit off of our families most easily. I would say though, their focus on public speaking and debate are skills that I still value and am grateful to have practiced in childhood. One thing Sandeep Khana said that still sticks with me is perception is reality. I hope that him and his wife (the principle) are able to work on how they're perceived. Two stars. We have been with Champion for 6 years and both our kids love the school. Not only are they getting a great education, they are exposed to Music, Art, Debate programs. The teachers genuinely care about the children and pay attention to the progress of each child makes and provide one-on-one time with the teachers. Academically, it has been amazing to us how much our kids have learned after joining Champion. When our 4 year old daughter started her online pre-school program during Covid, she had an amazing set of teachers like Miss Suvarna, Miss. Shivani. Since she hadn't been to any school before, her teachers gave her all support to learn her language and make her learn phonics, math, writing, art and everything. To a big surprise to us she started reading after only a few short weeks of time she enrolled and we highly appreciate the effort of Miss.Suvarna for this. She is very supportive and caring. She has got a great grip over all kids and the subjects she handles, and very flexible. We even cancelled our daughter's private art lessons once after she started her art classes with Miss.Suvarna. Now our daughter soon to be a 5 year old and has learned about continents, countries, math simple addition and subtraction, water cycle, fossil fuels and many more. Both our kids are happy and we are very glad of our choice. We cannot thank the school enough, for what the teachers have done to our kids and greatly appreciate Ms.Mune and Mr.Sandeep for their efforts towards the progress of our children. read more

I wish there was a negative star I could give this superficial Education foundation . My review fir this school was long due, had to write it to reach masses so they don't make the mistake we did for our child. Numerous points why this school should cease to exist : 1) They market their school at farmers markets under false pretenses 2) The principal , Ms Moni is a very rude lady who doesn't know how to interact with families with an etiquette. 3) Their elementary teachers specially Ms. Thapa and Latha are really rude and unsympathetic towards little kids. Thapa can't even interact properly in English. I wonder how she is been employed as a teacher. Instead of understanding a child, they blame kids for everything. There is so much complexity in this school. My child used to come home crying in the car for many days until one day I tried my best so I could get the reason out from my child . Such monsters as teachers of elementary school???? Screaming at little ones, showing them hand as to hit them. This school is a hoax. Our kids have been going to Champion School for over 2 years now, and we have seen an immense growth in their academic skills (despite the fact that homework that they get is very minimal). Kids enjoy being at school so much that they eagerly look for for any vacation to get over. The teachers devote a lot of time effort in preparing kids for competitions. Teachers know most of the kids in school by name, and it is a very close-knit setup. Kids can advance at their own pace, and are exposed to a very customized study plan. Kids get lot of opportunities throughout the year to participate in plays, science fairs and talent shows. Overall, I don't see any pressure on the kids despite the fact that they are academically at least 2 years ahead of public school kids of the same age. Read some of the reviews as posted by others. Like every school there are always elements that may not satisfy everyone. But my feedback is based on personal experiences regarding my 2 children, both of them are currently enrolled in Champion School. 1) my daughter has been in the school since she was in in pre-school and now she is in 2nd grade 2) My son was throughout in public schools and joined this school in the middle of 6th grade and now moved to 7th grade. I never had to sit down with the daughter to track what she was doing or she never asked me for any help. She was self reliant and knew the concepts very well. Her self confidence has been high always even in personal social settings. My son has always been in public schools and I spend a lot of time with him at home to go through assignments and help him prepare. But in middle school I notice his struggle to understand some concepts and decided to move him to Champion school in the middle of the session. After which I noticed a marked improvement , he was able to finish Algebra 1 in 6th grade and now moved to Geometry in 7th grade. On top of that he was able to shed his shyness and participated in a lot of interschool debate competitions. The school puts a lot of effort individually into their children and tries to push to excel more. If you want a directive approach towards teaching and stretching your child's abilities. This school should be fine. To be frank I seldom have to go and meet the teachers or the principal of the school , I review his notes and understand his progress and from time to time give him some trick questions to test his abilities to answer the basics. He is now self motivated and does the work himself. Even skipping his evening playtime to be done with his work for next day. We have two kids going to Champion school for two years now. Ansh started in Kindergarten and is now in 2nd grade while Khushi started in Preschool and is now in Kindergarten. Below is a list of things that we love about the school. 1) Principle and teachers: We have seen all teachers love the kids and look out for the best in all kids. Studies, being independent, sports, drama, music you name it the teachers know the kids, their likes and dislikes and really encourage kids. Each classroom that our kids have been to has had primary teacher(s) and then different teachers for 1:1 time with students and special topics such as history or PE. Our kids love their teachers. Principle at the school knows every kid personally and takes kids growth very seriously. She is constantly among the kids working with them. Having her overseeing everything makes the school awesome. 2). Curriculum: School has super curriculum very advanced for kids ages. Our kindergartener is doing multiplications and cursive writing. She has already been part of several music performances as well. Our 2nd graders loves history and science. His math includes fractions and variable equations. Despite this kids do not feel overwhelmed. When our son was learning divisions in 1st grade I asked him if he could do it. His answer was "Well I am not very good at it yet, but we just started learning, in two weeks I will be good" !! Both kids also love having 45 minutes for PE each day where they learn soccer and basketball. 3). 1:1 attention: This is unique to Champion. The school offers each kid 1:1 attention often even after school hours at no extra cost. Our son has had ton of 1:1 time for math and science while our daughter has had large number of 1:1s for reading. The approach of the school is to say if the kid is ahead of others they should get 1:1 attention to keep moving ahead and if kid is behind they should get 1:1s to help them catchup. 4). Homework and parent involvement: Even our 2nd grader only gets 1 page of history homework per week. That leaves him lot of time at home to do all sorts of fun extra activities proposed by school such as book reading contest for pizza party, essay writing, speech and debate contest, and musical drama practice. Read a recent review from a Bob J and I am sure this looks like a fake account.The reason I say this is because I am always around when the school takes part in debate tournaments and my wife judges as well and I don't recall Mr Bob J ever being at any of the debate tournaments. The debate program continues to a point where Mr Sundeep actually drove the kids to Orange County for one of the debate tournaments himself some time ago. Sandeep and me and some other parents get into some interesting discussions while we wait for the kids to finish their debates but never have I have heard him complaining about India nor speaking ill about the country.Not sure about the nonsense being mentioned about the withholding of Transcripts when applying to high school.My son will start high school this fall and the school not only submitted the transcripts and recommendations letters on time , they also contacted us and asked us to confirm that we could see them as submitted on the application website ( Ravenna).mention of teachers going insane , having paychecks withheld seems pure fabrication since most teachers are around for a very long time and I can attest to it since my kids have been going to the school for the past 12 years ( yes ..both my kids started at champion from the age of 2).Tell me which school in the Bay Area has free one on one lessons if your kid is lagging behind ? which school has stem classes at no extra cost after school hours and also on weekends?Which schooI has the vice principal himself getting involved with the kids and helping them prepare for debates and is the first person in and the last person out during debate tournaments.The list goes on. Wish there was a way to have this school closed ASAP. I echo on the sentiments of parents on this forum and must say that this school seems to be operating in a fly by night mode and can shut down any time. Infrastructure: Borrowed / leased buildings from EDS ; so expansion can be done to provide kids with labs/library/Green rooms/ Sports infra. The room occupied by the Principal is always in a state of mess and one gets a feeling that person of that stature is so untidy and unkept; how are they going to encourage kids to be clean!! Staff/Teachers: Parents do not have access to either and the only way one can reach is to meet the Principal. The Principal seems to know every thing about every kid and make parents feel in every meeting that they don't know how to raise their kid and kids are not normal. The staff is challenged with facts when questioned on the status of your kid and studies in school. There is a big language barrier among teachers who seem to lack credentials (not mandatory in private schools) of any kind! Principal/Founder/Co-Founder: The most horrible part of running this school is the Principal who ends up telling parents that they must teach kids with the action/consequence manner which is a wrong philosophy. Seems to know every thing about every kid which makes one wonder what is the role of teacher in this school. Professionalism is in pits and manners are demeaning and condescending. One must pause and think hard that whether the founder and co-founder (ivy school educated & seems to be a respected member of professional world!) of this school are really interested in education or they are busy making money. Philosophy: Their promises are false based on which they attract parents for open houses like One on One and later make a big deal when kids end up needing them. All this school does is complain and complain about kids but never ever encourage kids to boost their morale. Administration: There is no administration! No accountability! Update 4/23/18 I went to a party that had many kids from Champion school there. I was shocked by what I heard. They ALL said that you routinely tell them that my son comes back to the Champions to take review tests and that he doesn't do as well as the students there. First, they know you are lying. They know you lie about everything. You aren't fooling them with your brainwashing. Secondly, this is slander against my son. You need to stop this immediately. Let's examine some facts: 1) When we requested transcripts be sent to another school you significantly reduced the amount of teaching my son received. Whose best interest did you have when you did that? 2) You didn't inform parents prior to moving the school many miles away in a different city until after it was too late for them to change to another school...even though you knew much much earlier. Whose best interest did you have when you did that? 3) Your staff routinely yells at the students and denigrates them in front of others. This was true before and the current students confirmed that it still happens now (frequently!). 4) When students go from Champions to a truly competitive school like Basis they are not prepared for key subjects like math. They either have to step back a level in math or they struggle for a year or two until they catch up. 5) You routinely send email to parents using assumed names. Who knows why you lie so much but it seems to be the default as in "How do you know Mr. (husband) is lying...his mouth is moving". You say to look at the unfiltered reviews...yes I agree! See all of the one-star reviews you've managed to get removed. You are luck Yelp give you some kind of out. Otherwise, your rating would be a 1.5! Lastly...the husband teaches many classes including math. What are his teaching credentials? Given his proclivity towards lying...can whatever he says be verified? How many of the teachers have verifiable elementary education degrees from a US based university? Something for prospective parents to ask. Original: Our child went to this school for several years. I used to recommend it but the last year they pretty much went off the rails and from what I hear they have gotten worse. The school is run by a married couple. They have good intentions but their execution can be very poor. One issue is that they hire very low-end, generally foreign teachers. The quality and cultural differences can be extreme and this causes a lot of issues. The biggest issue, however, is the honesty and integrity of the owners...especially the husband. I'll refrain from giving details but if you find alumni you'll get an ear full. From what we've seen of other students from the various private schools (child is at a very competitive area middle school) the best prepared are the Stratford kids. They were much better prepared than the Champion school kids. My kid went to this school for 4 months in the summer preschool program and she got so stressed out and her confidence was all gone...we immediately changed her school and now a year later we feel that finally she is gaining her confidence again The principal only cares about the API scores doesn't care about a child's overall well being Also they are so secretive about the whole place....you are not allowed to go inside the school to even pick up your kid. read more

I was sceptical about the school when we started, but I have to admit that this school actually helped my child develop a love for learning by reading. He reads, books whenever he can find a few minutes in his daily routine. I enrolled my child at this school (starting from pre-school level), straight out of day care, because I wanted to take advantage of its un-paralleled academic focus to help my December-born child possibly skip a grade sometime soon. (Yes, I want my child to be on the younger side of the class / grade, not one of the older ones. I believe no other schools would give her the 1:1 attention to even give her a chance at it. Champion School actually has an "accelerated" academic schedule, especially in math, which I would rely and depend on.) I also promptly re-enrolled her for school year 2015-2016, because I do like the teachers. I can also see that she is learning, loves to learn, and loves the teachers. Surely, the school has its areas to improve. For instance, it took me months and multiple in-person visits to get a Proof of Payment, for my FSA reimbursement. (Actually at the time of writing this review, I still am yet to receive this single page of paper. But my most recent in-person protest of it seems to have received reasonable response. So I would believe in the school and its administrators to give it to me, soon!) I can see the teachers are good, simply in the work sheets I get back every week. The academic standards are high (for good), and I know the teachers are putting in the time for my child (and other children). Thus, I will stay with the school and seek means to help it improve, including volunteering my time, brain power, and network. But yeah, only if the administrators know how to best prioritize emails (include educating parents on how to write most effective emails, etc.) and can have ideas on how best to leverage parents besides just the Ambassador (Referral) Program. read more

Champion School is one of a kind. My daughter is currently in Kindergarten and has been in this school for three years since she was three years of age. This school prides in its academic excellence but our main motivation at enrolling her then was that we felt the staff was very caring and compassionate which was very important for us at that age. My daughter has never complained about the school and she loves the school and the teachers very much. She enjoys learning here and look forward to going to school everyday. This school is run by a great couple, whose teaching mechanism is excellent. They pay very close attention to kids and give lot of 1 on 1 attention to any kids who need it. The kids are also provided with treats for reading or participating in any kind of activity during this time. Which is very encouraging for the kids and they start to enjoy this time. The fact I like the most is that after I pick up my daughter from the school I don't have to make her work on her homework. That is what I would expect at this young age. They also teach by accessing each individual kid's caliber, if your kid is capable of learning more they will help them with it. They have debates, chess club and my daughter enjoys the PE classes which includes soccer and other sports. They also do performance and recently I got to see a wonderful and heartwarming performance by kindergarteners, a musical show based on 'Annie'. This school was recommended by one of the families who send both their kids here and have been very pleased with the school. I truly believe that this school is worth a shot if you are considering a private school. read more

Our son has been going to Champion School for the last three years, and is now in 3rd grade. The teachers at Champion School have done well to match our expectations so far. They have a good curriculum which is both fun and stimulating for my kid. They are trying to focus on the overall development of my child. What's good about this school is that they are able to deliver more with less. That is, our child is able to learn and master advanced concepts of math, science etc. with minimal parental intervention or support (just 15 mins. of homework which our child practically does it all by himself). He gets enough opportunities to interact and socialize with other kids. He also gets to develop skills such as public speaking and building science projects. I'm impressed that Champion School is able to teach a lot to my child without stressing him out... they certainly seem to have got their secret sauce right! If there's something they can get better at, it's the administrative aspect. Occasionally we don't receive notices in time or we have to send a few reminders before we get the necessary information. While this isn't ideal, it's more of an annoyance rather than a show-stopper. The good news is that their top management is aware of this shortcoming and appear to be taking active measures to address this. We are hopeful that this will get fixed eventually. Overall we have been thoroughly satisfied with the development of our child at Champion school. read more

The school doesn't reply to emails nor do they pick the phone. The administration of the school is very poor. It's totally unprofessional. We had the same issue when we moved our child out of Champion school and the new school could not get the records from Champion school. If you care about your child and his/her well being, please do not let him/her go anywhere near this school. My daughter attended this school for 4 months and she got so stressed out she started biting her nails. Doctors told us that biting nails comes from extreme stress and at this school they were stressing us out with demand that far exceed what a 3 year old should have been put through The worst was yet to come. in spite of that, we tried to enroll her for the following year and their principal Ms. Monet flat out lied to us that they had no space in the class when they actually did. After much follow up, when we proved to them that they did have space and they were denying our daughter a slot, their asst principal confessed to us that the reason was they didnt think our daughter could cope with the academic demands and they didnt want our daughter lowering their academic standards They claim to be an institution to help child development but are anything but. This school is unique. The progress of my grand son ( 2nd Grade ) and grand daughter ( 1st grade ) is very good. All the teachers are friendly and loving . The teachers know the names of all the student. My friend whose son is in 2nd grade at other school was amazed to know that my grandchildren know so much. The principal knows about each and every students by name and well aware of their respective strengths. The extra help feature at no additional cost to the parents is feather in their cap. My child goes to this school and I have never seen any school which so secretive about its day today things. Parents are not allowed to enter classrooms to pick up or drop off, not even to take a look at what their child is doing at any time. I dont even know if they actually have the child to teacher ratio that they claim of. I talked to other parents and they had similar complaints that they have absolutely no idea how children are ding inside those closed doors. I think its a parents right to have accessibility to classrooms at any time. They say you need to take appointment and u can only peek from the glass door(a tiny glass). Where else have u heard that? I am paying fees and have full right to walk into his classroom at any time(like they allow in other schools). When I pick up my kids, no one has even wiped his face the whole day. His food is all over his clothes, and running nose(no wiping by anyone). Once he even had potty on his pants inside the clothes. Every parent has to constantly assess whether a school works for their kids & them. For us, so far pros clearly outweigh the cons & hence both our kids have been going to Champion for several years now Things that work well * Our children are happy & well-adjusted socially - this is the biggest factor for most parents * Our children are years ahead in academics compared to both public & private school peers, without either the kids or us (parents) feeling any pressure. In this day & age of falling US education standards & education budget cuts, this is a big plus for working parents. This is the core strength of the school & this is a unanimous opinion among all parents even the detractors * Staff is caring and involved - being a small school most staff know all the kids esp. the principal who knows the personal progress of each kid * They offer PE 5 days/wk and put up good quality musical programs twice a year, in spite of being a small school * We are satisfied with the extracurricular activities offered (art, chess, basketball, etc). This is mainly because we personally prefer to doing many activities externally so we can be involved and allow kids to move ahead beyond what most schools teach them Things that can be improved - majority can be boiled down to improving "overall communication" * Customer service - we have seen this improve steadily over last 3 years but they need to continue working on this as this is one of the biggest complaint from fellow parents o We haven't faced any accounting issues for 1.5yr now. o The response time to majority emails has been less than 48hrs o Personally we have never had any problem having access to discuss any matter w/ the principal's office * Handling nonacademic related issues - there is perception among several parents that while the teachers are effectively able to teach academics, they are not able to handle matters related to occasional discipline/behavioral issues with the same efficacy. If this is not the case, then the school needs to do a better job communicating their method/philosophy. If it is the case then it can be addressed by appropriate training * Attitude - the school is upfront on what aspects are their strengths and what are not. However, this message comes across with a certain degree of nonchalance. This is also apparent when any parents brings up any issue. Rather than being a good "listener" they tend to get defensive & highlight school strengths * Perception - overall the school has shown good improvement in the areas that are not their core competencies. But the perception still lingers among some parents. The school needs to find creative ways to communicate this (besides the school staff just saying it) * Unlike most other schools (public or private), the school doesn't effectively leverage the willing & satisfied parents to be their advocates. This could allow them to address several issues stated above to a certain extent * In order to grow/scale at a faster pace, the school needs to do more to attract & retain students, upgrade to bigger campus etc. For us this will be a big incentive to continuing our kids beyond elementary grades read more

We Discontinued, Please do not waste yours and kids time. We couldn't find this school as a safe enviro for my kids. Ms. Muna and Mr. Sandeep are not reliable persons at all. All good reviews are written by schools staff. 1) PE was done in the morning and on wet grass. My kids had wet socks, shoes and cloths. She repeatedly complained about the same to the teacher, but that was ignored. EOD, after 7 hours, she had frozen foot and we had to go emergency to get her treated. 2) They say,they have higher academics? but truely, the are same levels as compared to other private schools. Spanish is very basic and much lower level than other private school. They do not have music, arts. And no computer until 2nd grade. 3) Teachers are not allowed to speak to parents. It is the agreement teacher has to sign for the job. Ms. Muna sits during the meeting and only she talks. 4) They DO NOT teach History, Science and Maths. As per them: All the basic math concepts are explained in a text book, students are suppose to read, understand, then move on to the exercises on their own. 5) No action taken for bully 6) Still want to join? then, keep track of the checks sent. Our daughter was at a large chain school in Santa Clara for preschool. She learned nothing much at all. We were looking for alternatives. We enrolled her at this school because our neighbor's son went here and he was the smartest, happiest kid our apartment complex and his parents raved about the school. We are glad that we did. In just one year in Pre-K, our daughter is reading at the 1st or 2nd grade level. Their school programs and parties are the best for kids as well as parents. What's even more important is that the teachers and the Director have been so responsive to each of our requests. We highly recommend this school. read more

I agree with the above post by Naik. Got recommended by my sister and now I'am very sure my daughter is going to public school for first grade. Nothing open to parents. Their Language Arts is not at all worthy at all for the money we shed. My daughter learned nothing for the past one year here. read more

I absolutely love the school. I have no idea, how there are some negative reviews. Firstly, they do not force feed kids. Secondly, they really are a child centered school. My child was extremely shy before she entered Champion. Now, I am seeing a gradual positive change. She has become more outgoing and confident. I would say the school also does a good job academically. We plan to stay here till my child graduates. read more

My child went to this school in KG... The curriculam didnot fit my child.. They taught divisions and multiplication in KG.. I felt the kids at that age do not understand the true meaning behind them and just vaguely follow the method. They were teaching second grade stuff which I think is absolutely useless. Champion School has always been the second home for our kids, they literally grew there from toddlers and we are very grateful for that. Eleven years ago, we were looking for a good pre-school for our 2.5 year old kid. We visited at least 10 different schools before we zeroed in on Champion. Champion School provides high academics in a very friendly environment with a positive disciplinary method. In addition to academics, Champion School also provides excellent debate coaching, robotics classes, Java and Logo programming and public speaking. The principal, Ms. Muna is very supportive and even kept tabs on our kids' education progress during our temporary relocation. She was encouraging my child who was in a different country and even sent her wishes for our child's achievements. You will never see a debate coach like Mr. Sandeep. He knows how to pick the brains of the students to bring out critical thinking. Mr.Sandeep is always there for each debate tournament, the first one to come in and the last one to leave during an all-day 12-14 hour tournaments. All the credit of my elder one's debate wins goes to Mr. Sandeep & Ms. Muna. My little one who is in 4th grade now says Mr. Sandeep is the best debate coach in the world . We are proud that we made the right decision to pick Champion and if we have to do all over again, we will do the same thing without a second thought! read more

I can't testify about its teaching quality as my child did not actually attend this school. I enrolled my child for both summer and kindergarten, attracted by its mini-Harker claim. Well, trust me, this is definitely not mini Harker. I paid over 700 in deposits and application fee early on, but regretted very soon. The school teachers are very loud, high pitched and very aggressive. There is a preschool next door, champion school staff never care to reduce their noise a bit to accommodate nap needs of the little ones next door. I dislike the aggressive culture I sensed there and emailed the administration about my decision to withdraw. Never got any response. My check was not cashed in two months' time or even longer. Received absolutely no communication or service. So I thought this is accepted by the school with no issue and cancelled the check to prevent future trouble. A few month later received an angry call from the owner (the husband). He threatened to ruin my credit history upfront without any discussion, and accused me to robbing the educational professionals. He threatened me if I don't bring him another check for 700+, he would refer this to debt collector and ruin my credit record. So, I paid him the next day. This principal's crazy attitude led me believe this school education will never be a classy one. No matter how high score their students may score. read more

Our son started Champion school in 6th grade and is currently enrolled in the 8th grade. We were looking for a school with nurturing and supportive environment as well as great academic curriculum. The Champion school has turned out to be exactly what we're looking for in the middle school. The school offers advanced academic curriculum in Math, English, Science and Computer Programming, etc. subjects as well as excellent extra curricular activities such as Speech and Debate and various national Math tournaments. Our son ended up finishing Algebra II by the end of 7th grade. What amazed me about Champion school was the hard work put up by the teachers and school principle to bring out the hidden skills in the students. Our son loved the Speech and Debate program offered by the school and he excelled in the Speech and Debate program by constant encouragement of coaches and also won few trophies at various Speech and Debate competitions held by National Speech and Debate Association. Our son benefited tremendously from the support of school and teachers, teachers offering 1:1s on the regular basis after school to help our son. The 1:1 with teachers are offered at no extra cost. The unique style of teaching, small class size, the advanced curriculum with the minimum daily homework stands Champion school apart from many other schools in bay area. We are very glad that we chose Champion as the middle school for our son and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for school with well-rounded education and great academics. read more
