We said we didn't mind getting a smaller one that was already cut. The guys up front insisted it was no problem. The butcher came out from the back and said they never cut them bigger than what they had in the case currently, but that he would do it anyway. They sent us home with a lower quality cut of beef and charged us the price of the 361 strip, when it was clearly not the same amount of marbling. We felt like we ruined their day. Now we go to Montray's Meat Market and have never been treated like an inconvenience.

I did go inside for a couple of minutes and it's a BBQ'er's nocturnal emission as far as that goes...like Roy's Bait and Tackle is for fishers. The plates we both got were brisket and sausage with beans and potato salad. If you've ever bought plates for a church benefit and thought..."well, it's for the church"...you accept the smaller portions as being adequate for the money. That said, the plates aren't expensive, but they're small portions. And I was extemely cautious to keep the plates level and half the beans were in the potato salad on both plates. The meats: sausage has nice snap and just a slight touch of heat. Nothing objectionable. The brisket is a little chewy, not juicy but tasty. The sides were better than the meats...just small portions. We didn't get any sauce on the meat or on the side and no utensils. It did come with a canned drink, though...I guess they figure you're taking it home?? Facebook recommendations got us to try it out. It was decent, not "drive well out of your way" good. We've tried it.

I don't eat pork but the pork chops were very thin and small .,customer service was great.ready to answer any questions you might have with a smile and the upmost respect,, The watermelons looked beautiful on the outside ...but were mushy and a lil expired, it's the watermelon distributor needs to inspect their products before sending it out for consumer to purchase . I have grabbed some of the hot food they keep near the checkout, and it's always been fresh and tasty. The selection here is one of the best in town. They have a great variety of Asian ingredients, frozen foods, sauces, noodles, and snacks that are hard to find elsewhere. The staff has always been friendly, the store is clean and well maintained, and the prices have always seemed fair. We always enjoy stopping by, and it's become one of our family's favorite places to shop.

I ordered two beef rib plates (one with sausage added) and when I got home neither my wife nor I could tear the meat off the bone. There was plenty of fat under the bark, but the meat itself was like shoe leather. There was smoky flavor, but it stayed with the meat that refused to release its grip on the bone. The two plates cost over $50 and it was the worst 50 bucks I've ever spent on food. Absolutely the worst beef ribs I've EVER come across. AVOID THE BEEF RIBS AT SILVERADO. My reviews here in the past have been favorable. Something terrible has happened here.
