Years ago I would order products for when they came out, they would never arrive on time. Someone…read moreat the store even told me a product hadn't come out yet that was supposed to release on my birthday I saw it at other stores, and it had released on time. I was told by the staff repeatedly it was pushed back for release. When I brought it up for the 6th time, they finally decided to get the product ordered that I had paid for in advance. RECENTLY. I went back to this store thinking it couldn't have been worse than that. I bought some Dragon Shield sleeves that were manufactured to be a few mm too small for standard cards. When I went to address the issue with the store they told me to take care of it online with the manufacturer rather than swapping the product. I was told "If nothing is damaged on the box we don't handle it." Now I'm emailing the manufacturer as I was told... and finding out the manufacturer does not replace product, but offers reimbursements ONLY IF THE STORE IN QUESTION IS UNWILLING TO HELP. In other words your store should have handled the issue and refused to by admission of the manufacturers own policy. Your employee either lied, or just was unwilling to help. Thanks for taking my $20 for sleeves no refunds. Assholes.

We came here to look for single Pokémon cards, and holy cow, were we impressed! They had a ton of…read morerare and holo cards available in boxes to go through for .95 a card, which is steep, but the variety was staggering. The best deals for Pokémon are their mystery tins, which have 50 cards, and include 10 rare and/or holo cards for $9.99. They also have a huge glass case for GX and EX cards if there's something you're looking for. Really incredible to me, though, is the fact that they have a website, kryptonitekollectibles.net, where you can order single cards, and they'll ship! Love that! This place mainly specializes in Magic the Gathering, but they have a ton of board games, cards, dice, and sports memorabilia. I could spend hours here just looking around! Also great customer service! Definitely worth the drive from Madison!

Came here yesterday while I was on break from a job near by. This store is smaller than most Lids…read morestores for one but the selection here is not bad at all. What stood out is that this place sold Minnesota Twins hats. They didn't have a variety of them like most stores but this was the only store that sold the newer updated hats with the Twins updated logo which I regret not buying. Staff was really nice, helpful and courteous. Wouldn't mind coming back.

I am a hat fiend, so I have been a customer of Lids for quite awhile now, though mostly via their…read moreonline website and order system. If you are a fan of ball caps, this place is about as clutch as they come. They have just about everything you could possibly imagine in sports for New Era fitted, and they also do several exclusives that you can only get from them (see the pictured KC hat). You can even get New Era caps from some pretty obscure sports too. Need a 59FIFTY from the world championships of ping pong you say? This place is your best bet to find it. They also do custom embroidery and stitching if you are wanting to personalize your cap even further. It's not a cheap option, and fitted wool caps are not cheap in general, but if you are feeling froggy and suddenly decide that it's appropriate to have "I'm Rick James, bitch" stitched on the side of your caps in large Old English font, they can hook you up. If you are a frequent hat buyer, I suggest you fork over the 5 bucks to join Lids club. You get 20% off all hat purchases, and it's tiered. So like most customer loyalty programs, the more you use it, the more you get hooked up. This also gets you VIP access to special hats before the general public. And you might think. "who cares?" Wait until a team you follow actually wins a championship and it comes through in a big way. You pretty much get hooked up like the players themselves. 90% of the people you come across will wonder where the hell you got the hat from. My only major gripe about Lids is the shipping turnaround time. Maybe it's just because I am so spoiled with Amazon prime, but it takes a solid 3 days before my hat even ships. And no, Lids club membership has no bearing on shipping. I think loyal customers should also be rewarded with this as a perk. Other than that, this is hands down the best place you can find for caps. I have never seen it equaled. Their selection is unreal and I have never had a hat I wanted be out of stock in my size.
