We don't normally do US chains here but chose this place. It was nice being in a US dining environment again after four months here. We started with two appetizers. The fried spring rolls and the dynamite shrimp. Both were exceptional. The shrimp were big with a sweet and spicy sauce. For an entree we chose the Pad Thai with chicken. Perfect serving size to share. We really enjoyed our meal and the service top notch. We will be back from time to time.

It is in a traditional setting with staff in historic dress, historic decor, and a senora forming tortillas by hand. Though the cochinita de pibil, a pork dish, is the most recommended, give some of the other dishes a try, including the turkey served the same way. You can also learn different forms of corn masa to present similar dishes (panucho, salbut, vaporcito).

As such,we're limited to a few types of sushi. The two stars is for the polite waiter who was clearly sorry. They should just not open for the day if they can't get gas or let us know when we called.
