I bought three Empanadas (Ham and Cheese, Beef and Chicken) at the Stall at Venn Market and re-heated them a bit afterwards at home and they were great. Although they are not particularly big, the filling is generous and are worth the price of £6.5 for the combo of three.

Stumbled upon this cart on the street and had to try one. I ordered the tomato, mozzarella, basil. I felt like I was eating expensive pizza. It was good but pricey. The basil was strong and gave it the kicker taste. Sometimes the simple and basic choices are delicious!

Best empanadas I've had in a long time! Manager was super friendly. Overall, a great experience.
Excellent service!! Great prices and deals combined with goodness in every single bite it was the best snack I could eat before jumping on the train. Chicken was my go-to choice. Pure goodness. Enjoy! read more

Empanada specialists, Chango work out of a base in South West London, to offer these savoury treats either at stalls on various markets currently, among others, St. James, Picadilly ( Mondays) Duke of York, Chelsea ( Saturdays), as wellas Brick Lane ( Sundays)- or as a catering service. If you're not familiar with empanadas, they are sort of a smaller, more highly seasoned South American version of a pasty, albeit in a greater range of authentic (savoury) flavours. About £3 each, as memory serves, from the market stalls, but significantly cheaper if ordered in advance ( by phone or on the website). Personally, I'd much rather have two or three of these for lunch than a soulless sandwich. Should you visit them when they're in Chelsea, avoid the risibly over-priced juice stall next door, read more

CHANGO! Absolutely fell in love with your empanadas as did the 40+ people who tried them. They were flavourful and extremely moreish! We also had the Alfajores Maizena and although I did not try it myself I have been told over and over again they were delicious. Thanks to Josefina for arranging the catering and delivery for our event we will definitely be ordering from you again. read more

Had my first Empanada from Chango this weekend, after a discussion with a fellow Yelper about them. Tip that Chango are often at food markets across London - I tried them out at the food market in the Bruno wick at Russell Square. Delicious. read more
