How much sports do you really have to cover? There is SO Much information we want on crime (murders; gang activity, dangers, etc.), politics, Schools, tourism, locals economics, weather impact, city activates, etc. However, what do you often start of with? Sports! Then , half way through, SPORTS!, Right before the Sports section, Sports! Then is the Sports Section, "inside of SPORTS!" Nothing wrong with getting sports media, but how many outlets does someone need to access the sports information. You already have a SPORTS SECTION!!! There are other things doing on. There is a channel called "Sports Channel!" We want other new than that was just shown on all the other channels. By the time you report it at 10:00pm, most of us know the results. Why do you have to cover sports over and over and leave out what the parents need to know for their kids school changes, or the murder/crime rate happening in a certain area, or laws that are changing? I'd rather know if their is a killer on the loose in my area, at times. read more

She is also very down to earth, charismatic, always has a bright smile on her face and a warm conversation. Hard to watch their 10pm show. Too many inexperienced reporters for a large city tv affiliate. Their electronic graphics producer/switcher is constantly messing up....occurs almost every night. 4-5 minute packages are way too long. Not enough hard news, too much fluff. News Director seems to have little experience running a big city newscast. They probably don't pay much, have tight budgets, and have no money to make it a more professional newscast. And they have to talk and comment after every story....so frickin annoying. read more

Your cutting out the last few minutes of the Billy Joel concert (promoted for weeks by CBS) leaves a real sour taste. no excuses for doing this on a light news Sunday. Used to like Lauren Whitney when she first came to CBS. But with her ever increasing cosmetic surgeries, she's beginning to look like a science experiment. Though this is one of the more blander channels that Denver has to offer the news is more or less accurate. During the day time it is over run by soaps which if that is not your thing than perhaps you should change the channel or turn the TV off. Essentially it is not brain food and is good for the masses of TV zombies out there that do not want to think. Alden C on 3-26-2010 complained that during the day in Denver is soap opera ville. I agree with him. He should shut off his TV. and get some exercise, outdoors perhaps. Some people need some quiet time and soaps are perfect way to shut your mind off and watch someone Else's problems. The less real the better. I understand that it is important to get the news to the public; however, this constant interruption of progrems is not necessary. I watch The Young & The Restless and it is the only show I watch and have watched for years on a daily basis. The news is on right after the show. Why must you continue to interrupt this show for stupid reasons. If it is necessary to interrupt for 5 minutes to get immediate important news out fine, but save the details for the news immediately following the program! No wonder no one watches CBS! read more

I have been watching channel 4news since I moved to colorado in 1977. Why is it that channel 9 news is the only main stream news channel to take Obama to task over the coverup on Benghazi?
