We've been here multiple times for every party occasion - 15's, baby showers, and now weddings. Certain things are worth the price and tend to be on the cheap side but other things can be overly expensive. They have a wide selection of silk flowers (DUH! Hence the name) that are absolutely gorgeous and you wouldn't even believe they are fake. I'm terms of weddings, you can find just about everything for bridal shower/bachelorette/and ceremony + reception needs. They have almost every color to match your theme. They have a huge section for Hora Loca too! Parking in this place is very tricky so come early and not during the weekend if you want to avoid long lines and tons of people. We drove from Orlando to shop at Chan's! My husband is putting on a big event and needed tons of florals for decor. Well worth the drive for the prices! We got, 1200 carnations, 9 glass hanging teardrop planters and various faux greenery for less than $350. We would've spent 3x that if we shopped st Michael's or hobby lobby. Know before you go: - Get there early. The parking isn't great it's maybe 20 spots on the side of the building. - Be prepared to wait. It's BUSY. - Not all items are a bargain. We were anticipating a Mecca or cheap decor but half of the items were pretty line price with other corporate competitors. All in all I definitely recommend this place. My husband and I felt it was well worth the 3 hour drive for the amount of selection and savings. read more

This place is so cool! It was my first time at Chan's and it will not be the last. What a hidden gem! I came to Chan's on a mission to find fake diamond jewelry. It was recommended to us from a lady I am in an Opera group with and she said that Chan's was the place to go for stuff like that. There was a decent sized section of fake diamond jewelry that will serve its purpose of being divas in a skit that we have to do. They also sold tiaras that would be cute if you need them for a prop or event. After wandering around the store, it was easy to see how popular it was. It was PACKED! There were so many different sections each filled with a ton of fun things. There is a WHOLE room filled with silk flowers that are perfect for events or for the home. There is also a whole section of little jewelry bags that could be used for people who make jewelry or give them as gifts. Around the bend, there are candles, ribbons and things for baby showers and other events. I didn't even make it to the other end of the store, but I did see a disco ball and from what I am told they have props for every event. What a cool store!!! I did notice that the prices were great and CHEAP!! I know that if I ever plan an event, I will go there for little goodies! The checkout was very cool too - They have it organized like Michael's and the cash register number lights up when it is your turn to pay. Umm Hello?! This place is THE BOMB!! Are you kidding me? It is SO CHEAP!! It's incredible how cheap this place is.. I went to Michael's first and bought 6 rolls of ribbon (they were only 3 yards a roll) and found the same ribbon at this place (50 yards) for the price of 3 rolls at Michael's. Their inventory is unbelievable. They have a ton of baby shower, quinces, wedding, and all sorts of party favors. They have vases, bushes, loose flowers, ribbon, glue guns, butterflies (all sizes), birds, home decor, garlands, feathers, candles, so much more and an entire christmas store filled with anything you can imagine. It's amazing and I'm really lucky to have stumbled across this place when I went down to Miami to visit. Chan's is a HUGE warehouse full of LOTS of options: flowers, linens, chairs, centerpiece items, ribbon, and the list goes on & on. The thing is that you can't expect a clean/fancy store like Michael's. It IS a warehouse, and the aisles are very narrow. It gets super busy on the weekends, which means it gets super packed in those narrow aisles with people and their carts. Majority of the staff seem to speak Spanish, which is good for others, but not for me since I don't speak Spanish. They're not really the friendliest, either. The owners are more helpful. They have GREAT prices, though, so that's what had me coming back. I solely used Chan's for my wedding centerpiece needs and found everything I needed for a great price: vases, cherry blossom stems, marbles, ribbon, sequins, mirrors. I brought my roommate here after she got engaged too, and the flowers received her stamp of approval, aka they don't look fake. Great products for amazing prices! read more

This place has vases, feathers, boas, mirrors, furniture, ribbon, party favors, flowers and other items in bulk for your quincenera, baby shower, wedding or party. In the back, we discovered some nice furniture and other home decor at some cut-rate prices. Parking and space inside are tight and the place was packed on a Saturday. The staff was curt but helpful. I came here with my sister in law from quality wholesale hoping to fine a descent vase that didn't cost an arm and a leg. At first, we got a bit frustrated because of the tight space and the massive amount of people, but as soon as we got to the vases, we see "the one" it was perfect, exactly what we needed. Ok so the reason this people did not get a 0 star is because I don't have the option. The location is huge and has good pricing but the quality of the items are garbage and cheap. I drove all the way from homestead today to go look for curly willows for my bridal arch. The associate was really helpful but the other workers were so rude and unprofessional. So the curly willows were alive, I was completely unaware. The associated suggested since I needed them in 3 weeks to order them so they can have them available for me on a future date because they would die. The checkout line was super long I stood there and waited about 20 mins, once the cashier called me to come over I took my time to explain what I needed to do and what a surprise!!!! she had no idea what I was talking about. She finally tells me I need to talk to the manager which was sitting next to her on the phone in what seemed to be a personal phone call. After standing there for about fifteen minutes unrecognized with no service whatsoever I got fed up. She didn't even have the decency to tell me to wait, she just completely ignored me. Eventually I got bored and walked out, I simply didn't have time to waste. I won't beg people to take my money. They're loss. I was ready to purchase over two hundred dollars in supplies. I left and ended up spending my money at hobby lobby. I will never go back or recommend that place to anyone. read more
