This place has been in business a while and is absolutely wonderful. Some things can be a little pricey, but the quality is there. They will blow your mind with the themed trees. And the selection of trees to get inspiration from is unmatched. I was disappointed in some of the items I received. I reached out to this company before I made my purchase and I was told that the items would ship in it's original packaging. I received 1 item out of 5 in it's original packaging. The items did not come damaged however they were not in their original packaging which leads me to believe that they had been previously opened. I love this place 1.) the owners wife helped ring us up she was dressed so nice I had to ask if she was the owner. 2.) the owner actually works there my son was doing a good job at driving around our cart he gave him a toy and said merry Christmas sorta reminds me of Santa Claus lol 3.) they gave everything for every type of tree I mean you may want to bring an extra credit card but it's well worth it. We have 2 trees in our home and got all of our stuff for both trees from here. This is my 3rd year coming here for ornaments and decor but it's always our go to spot. I have been shopping at Christmas Palace for years. One thing I always loved about them is the selection they have for Christmas decorations. The store is huge...full of things to buy for your tree and other parts of your home to really get into that Christmas spirit...the store though is very pricey. Only come here if you are willing to pay hundreds of dollars to decorate your home...I know I did my two trips here this holiday season got me close to $300 so be warned. Still I love Christmas decorating so for me it is worth it. Why 3 stars though? Simply two things bothered me about my most recent shopping experiences here: 1) The Service isn't as good as it should be. Before the store employees used to help every shopper find the Christmas essentials they needed...and especially for the money I am putting down for ornaments I expect it. Unfortunately now you really have to go out of your way to flag them down. 2) they refused to accept my yelp check in offer...said they only do business with and accept groupons...really?!?! Well why do you still have the check in offer on your yelp? That was bogus I mean it's only 25% off one item...considering what I am putting down it's nothing. That really left a bad taste in my mouth. So great place for decorations certainly but it does have its negatives. read more

I was so excited to find this place because I looove Christmas and I am an ornament hoarder. I love to buy ornaments when we travel. They didn't have anything that said Miami on it or even Florida. Nothing at all! The place is super cramped. You have to kind of shuffle along because there is hardly anywhere to walk. Their merchandise just looked like gaudy commercial stuff. It was really a bummer. I tried to find someone to ask about ornaments to make sure I hadn't missed anything but the only employee I saw was behind the register with at least four customers already waiting. As an imaginary Disney princess I had high hopes for this palace, and it turns out that it was indeed worthy of the title. I was instantly wow-ed upon walking in and furthermore impressed as I walked through and discovered other sections in the huge building - ahem - palace. I did not find the prices ridiculous at all. I came in on 1/19 and everything was marked 40% off so it must have been an after Christmas special. Even without that I felt that the prices were pretty standard and there were a lot of things I haven't seen before. There were trees, ornaments, nutcrackers, trains, things to make you house smell like holiday heaven, placemats, table runners...everything you could need for an impressive holiday house party. The pre-made trees made the trip worth it. They do a fabulous job. There are also Department 56 Christmas and Halloween displays put up as well as a huge nativity scene, and of course the pieces are available unopened in boxes all sold separately (can you believe that those are 40% off too?!) I would absolutely make you go here just to look if nothing else, but I doubt you can walk out empty handed. read more

You feel so happy when you walk in & see all the Christmas decorations & hear the Christmas music. It can definitely get crazy packed the closer it gets to Christmas but I don't care. We always get tons of compliments on our Christmas tree decorations & my Christmas village which all came from this store. I will say it's on the pricey side.... we tend to buy a 9 foot tree every year & our decorations cost us around $1200. They are really high quality and unique though. It's more an investment because you can use them year after year. They have a great Christmas village display for inspiration and you can buy a few pieces per year to grow your collection. The family who owns the store are so sweet & can help you with whatever you are looking for. They offer services to put up your Christmas lights & even design your tree for you. I've been shopping here for years for my Dept 56 and nativity pieces. Last year I decided I would purchase a Christmas tree. The tree was pre-lit and the lights went out within a couple of weeks and before Christmas Eve. In communications with the store they indicated to bring it back and they would replace it. No timing was given. By the time I brought it back the best they could do was give me three strands of lights to put on the tree. Keep in mind they had three in stock and could have easily exchanged it, but it was easier to now inconvenience their long time customer and have me bring it back in January so they could fix it... not even replace it. Even when temps in Miami are in the 80's each December and there's no hope for snow, I still manage to find that wintery, holiday feeling somehow. However, sometimes it's a tough; I'm normally so busy in December that I forget to shop, send cards, bake cookies, trim the tree, watch Rudolph and Frosty on CBS and just prepare for the holiday season in general. Around this time of year, I need all the help I can get to find that holiday spirit. One day as I pass this monstrous billboard on I-95 that advertises Christmas Palace - I figure this place is bound to be a huge help. Most stores only smack you in the face with holiday decorations and sales starting just after Halloween. Christmas Palace is open year round and is dedicated to the craziest holiday of the year so this place has to be good, right? WRONG. Let me explain... When you walk through the doors in the Hialeah location, you can't help but feel like you just set foot on the North Pole. Huge Christmas trees of every shape and color are spread throughout the store. Holiday music is pumping through the speakers... not a bad start. BUT, when you take a closer look, many of the ornaments on the trees are cheap and plastic. When I observed the price tags, I almost choked. They want $10 for a small, plastic snowman ornament. And, this trend continued throughout the store. Yes, the trees are pretty. Yes, the smells of cinnamon and spice are intoxicating. Yes, the holiday music is festive and makes me smile. But, the blatant price gouging makes my inner Grinch and Scrooge want to come out and beat some people up. Trust me, you can get way better deals on holiday decor and higher quality items at Target or Big Lots. read more

Very Sad I been in Florida 4 years and every year I shop here , This time I got sea Horses they did not have that many so i go only Buy the sea Horses That I needed to complete my tree that was 3 weeks ago . Then I get the order with the wrong thing , i bring it back to the store and they gave me 2 sea horses and the rest they say come back in 2 days . AVOID! Firstly the place is a madhouse and they are doing nothing at all to cap the number of people in the store - I am sure it is a Covid 19 melting pot. But what made me angrier.... I spent over $1,000 there and it turns out they over-charged me by $300 and I realized this when I got home. I contacted their corporate office and someone named Melissa called me and she was actually very nice and helpful. BUT... she said I had to go back to the store for the refund and she wasn't able to do it on the phone. I was mad. I had to drive 45minutes to the store. I asked for the store manager - Diana. Its unfortunate that the christmas palace employees discriminate against the color of your skin. My brother in law (he is black) and my mother who is white of cuban descent felt uncomfortable at the store today because every 5 minutes he was asked if he needed help. They also felt uncomfortable because he was holding my daughter who is blonde with light eyes and was even asked if that was his daughter to which he said yes so they would leave him alone because he could feel everyone staring at him. We are in 2018 people. Times have changed and you should bring your employees up to date with the times. Not every person of color that walks into your establishment is going to steal. My mother has spent so much money at this store and even had a credit but she felt so bad for my brother in law that she left without using it. Although I go in once or twice a year, multiple associates recognize me and welcome me back each time. Even the owner stops to say hello!
