The shoot itself…read morewent okay (amateur), but I basically paid $650.00 for his Superstar package and received nothing but watermarked photos and unanswered calls. The photo shoot was more than 3 weeks before my birthday, and I never received the edits that I paid for. He ghosted my calls, eventually responded slowly with promises and no follow-through, and when he did finally respond, stated, "the photos were sent to your email," but of course they were not. The mistake I made is paying before receiving my edits, and the mistake he made is assuming the scam will not catch up with him simply because I don't have the social media platform or following, but word travels fast and so does karma. I was forced to go to another photographer for another shoot to do the job I paid him to do last minute. I will see Cam/Kam in court.

Getting one's headshots done can feel scary. I was nervous going into it, but the minute I arrived all my guards came down because Thaddeus made me feel safe and secure, sexy and beautiful. He is a natural born teacher and taught me so much prior to the shoot about what was expected of me. For example, coming prepared is his number one request. When booking with Thad you're entering into a symbiotic relationship where both of you contribute. My headshot experience was unique in that what I wanted to achieve was two-fold: to get business and actor headshots (both theatrical & commercial). During our initial consultation I learned from Thad that in my case, I would be playing three roles for the shoot: the talent, artistic director, and fashion stylist. In order for me to succeed at the latter two Thad gave me a step-by-step guide: I needed to create a Pinterest board, identify outfits that inspired me, pull looks from my own closet, print inspo pictures and pair them with each of my looks, and of course hang my clothing and transport them in garment bags. It may sound like a lot of work, and it is, but it is so worth it bc Thaddeus will come just as prepared if not more with his own work completed (photography-wise) not to mention his years of experience and countless stories on the job including glamorous tales and wildly funny tribulations (the kind that enough time has passed for one to be able to laugh at them) from his time in NYC. Also, as I said, my photoshoot was unique as I was responsible for the preparations. Typically, Thaddeus is hired for major commercial shoots or fashion magazines where there are whole teams of people hired to assist. Not only did he teach me how to prepare, but Thaddeus also gave me the gift of directing me throughout my shoot. Having stepped away from the acting world to build my business experience, I felt a little rusty. My thoughts included, "Do I have what it takes? Will I still have the acting chops? Am I good, capable, or pretty enough?" The answer was yes to all. I had everything I needed inside me for the shoot to be a success and I give Thaddeus credit for bringing it out in me. Since I have begun this diatribe, I'll explain. Currently, as a 33-year-old woman, I am on a journey to know and fall in love with myself, believing in myself all on my own. And that's why my photoshoot was so powerful. Thaddeus believed in me before I did. He did so because he cares and that's evident in him contributing his art, his photography, and his good and wise nature to the world. Thaddeus' standards of excellence are so high that you will see it and feel it the moment you meet him, the moment you walk into his convivial, clean, professional photography studio you will know you're in the right place. You will rise to the level of excellence Thaddeus exudes because you won't be able to deny its surrounding power and presence. Thaddeus' hard work and desire to continue working until things are just right is an inspiration. My headshots turned out so beautifully and dynamically. After spending and hour getting ready we drove for 20 minutes arriving 10 minutes early. He had said to call him when we arrived so he could let us in the parking garage. When I called him he claimed to have no memory of the appointment that he confirmed last week and was on the road for a "big job" for someone else that he could not miss He fid not have the courtesy to reschedule and then he gave us a bad attitude about it as if it was our fault. He said we could just wait there for him to return but we would be waiting in our car for over a hour with no one to let us in. Not a good neighborhood. This was very unprofessional. I would not recommend using his services to anyone!

From the moment I had my first discussion with Jess I felt at ease (though I am no veteran in front of the camera!) Shooting with her is always a breeze-- fun, comfortable, full of laughs. That is what you get. That and more. Jess has this way of capturing the soul and beauty within every human she shoots. The blessing is that she's so technical and detail-oriented, that she can coach me through my poses so that I look like someone who is confident and photographed often.
