I found Mona online and she delivered. She was quick to respond to my online initial questions and was pleasant and prompt the day of. We met at an outdoor area and she quickly surveyed the surroundings. She found interesting angles with pleasant backgrounds; was not rushed, yet super efficient. I think the whole shoot may have taken about 30 min & I think she said she had around 400 pics. In about a week she had them edited and returned electronically to me. I was so happy with the results. My Wife and I got engaged early of last year in another state , we moved out to the Fort Worth Area…read moreand planned to get married in Texas in half a year. With the giant move of our lives , and getting our finances situated, we finally began our planning process. We sent out the invitations to our family back home, and new friends we had made here in Texas. It was official, we were to be married in 3 months. Reluctantly, but probably due to both of our procrastinatory nature , we left the acquisition of a photographer to the last minute. But in hindsight I can respectfully say it was a good thing. After we had asked friends for recommendations we had fell short of finding anybody. I did some digging online and found Raul with R.Romero Photography. I messaged him with all the questions we had , which he promptly answered , but the biggest question being would he be able to fit us in his schedule on such a short notice. He happily obliged and I'm so happy he did. Our Wedding was two weeks away, we did our engagement shoot the very next week in a beautiful location in Grapevine, which we picked out of a list of best places to shoot in which he recommended. During our shoot we felt so at ease with Raul, and felt like we immediately became friends. My wife and I even arrived behind schedule, but Raul made sure we got the most time we could to take so many great shots. The day of our wedding came and Raul made sure to have the information of the locations of where the bridesmaids and groomsmen parties would be located, which is a small thing but a big thing because my wife and I felt like that day was a dream and we weren't thinking straight lol. Raul handled all shoots like a pro, was able to direct the large amounts of people to get into position, was quick in coming up with shots with different backgrounds, and even was able to keep everyone in fun spirits. During the wedding , it almost seemed like he got into the zone , he became the leader or director so to speak right after the ceremony and handled all the different groups that were to take pictures with us, and eventually took the photos of us newlyweds in front of the gorgeous chapel we got married at. During the reception Raul was everywher e capturing the moment, and because I was in a daze I lost track of time and Raul reminded me we still needed to cut the cake! By then, the time I had allotted for Raul had come to an end , but he stayed the extra few minutes to make sure he captured our last great moment. That was the icing on the cake , no pun intended.
