All of the employees and all of the residents are unbelievably super nice! After touring the full facility, my wife and I were sold. So many wonderful amenities, so beautifully decorated! My wife and I both know that if we looked hard enough, we could possibly find a place as nice as the park at surprise, but we knew we wouldn't find a place that was nicer. We figured, why continue to search, this Place is not only wonderful, but it is a wise decision for my wife's dad. We shared our hearts with dad, and he trusted our decision. Your family will lose everything they worked hard for and their quality of life will decline when it should do the opposite. Do not trust this place. The apartment wasn't cleaned but they were expected to pay the rent for 2 months even though the Solstice staff had not yet cleaned it. Upon move in, dead roaches in the apartment, a filthy shower with mold and limescale, and a moldy refrigerator and freezer awaited them. Requesting for a repair is useless. They placed a repair request 3 months ago, for numerous repairs and they have yet to be addressed. Family and friends have done the repairs for them at their own expense. The food is garbage and attempting to do laundry in one of the laundry rooms located in another wing that only has 2 washers, and 2 dryers. Then you are restricted on times because the staff is given priority to wash other residents have clothes washed by staff. Save your loved ones money and go somewhere that the the staff, really cares about the well being of the residence. This place is a dump for the money. They need more maintenance staff and better cleaning to be done.
