I have been seeing Dr Chapel for a couple of months due to an ingrown toenail. he's very personable and professiona and highly recommen him.

Don't hesitate going to Dr. Chapel. I initially met him in the emergency room when I was diagnosed with a very serious infection in my foot. For the 12 days I was admitted he was attentive and genuinely cared about the best course of action to treat my condition. He did the surgery we decided on and I simply can't thank him enough. I still have a long road ahead of me but I am forever grateful to have Dr. Chapel in my corner. You won't find a more knowledgeable and trustworthy podiatrist. It's a comfort knowing he is my doctor and that he genuinely cares about his patients. Thank you again Dr. Chapel. read more

Dr. Chapel did a terrific job saving my foot that had a large open wound that had a staph infection which evolved into MRSA. His expertise saved my food from possible amputation. For that I am eternally grateful. After 3 surgeries in the hospital, a wound vac, and 2 skin grafts Dr. Chapel did an amazing job helping my foot heal. read more

Wish I'd read the reviews prior to my hellish experience at this office!! I can 2nd all the comments regarding lousy treatment by staff. Receptionist who refused to look up my pharmacy phone number?! Intake person who was rude and arrogant. Office manager - ditto! Endured a week of pain in expectation of relief after my appointment. Very SORELY disappointed!!! Nope! Don't do it! Look elsewhere. The staff is great, but the Doc is....well, read the other one star reviews. I concur. He walked out on me as well. I balked at continuous treatment and expensive shoe inserts, wanting direct action (removal) of a small foot growth. The waiting room was FULL of the elderly. Perhaps this 'walking out on patients' is a method to get rid of those who can draw logical conclusions as opposed to those who will just go with the flow unquestioningly. Susan P. I would like to take some time to tell my experience with Chapel Podiatry. From the first day I went there with excruciating pain in my heel I was treated so well from front desk to seeing the doctor. I was put in a room where I didn't wait long at all for Dr. Chapel. He was very professional and explained to me in terms I could understand. I had plantar fasciitis. First I got x-rays next cat scan finally. MRI which then we knew I needed surgery. Dr. Chapel tried everything to keep me from having surgery. Quartisone shots didn't work. I was going on a cruise three days after my surgery and he was like no way am I going to do surgery and send you off to the middle of the ocean. God forbid something happened so we made my surgery for when I returned. Surgery went so well. Dr. Chapel did such a WoNDERFUL SURGERY on me. I had not one bit of pain from the time I left that hospital until I was discharged from his care. I hope if you are having foot problems you will go to CHAPEL PODIATRY. One of the worst doctor office I've been too ! I've been in tremendous pain and chose a horrible doctor office that doesn't take care of patients. Since the first phone call they are rude and don't want to listen to patients needs and request. When I went into office for my first appt they didn't acknowledge me for about 15 min when it was only 3 people in the waiting room and did not have the state required guidelines for 6 feet distancing, which made me feel very uncomfortable. When I went in for my exam they told me to take off my shoes and doctor Chapel told me to stand with shoes off on his dirty floor to do my examination. Mind you these people don't have any sanitizer shown throughout the office.. when they offered to do an injection the dr pulled his supplies from a drawer nearby and once he was done put them right back in with no hazardous boxes seen in the room. As I'm waiting to hear back from my results they never supposively receive them so I had to go out of my way to do their work and get the proper documentation/ images to help the doctor properly diagnose me. With all of this covid-19 going around doctor wants me to have blood work done at another facility with my xrays in-order for him to give me results of my lumbar X-rays. He canceled and discharged me because I cannot get blood drawn at this time. Mind you this is only 1 visit and I will never go back! I work in the medical field and this is the most worst medical office I've been to beginning from customer service, to the visit , their equipment and getting results. .I recommend you not going to this place you will truley regret it!! And the doctor doesn't care about how his staff treats his patients. It's his employees over patients. read more

I read some of the reviews and too many people want there a_ _ kissed. The man is to the point, thorough, professional, very experienced. He likely saved me from a leg amputation and recommended things that other podiatrist never did and the same bout diabetic shoes places that did not even seem to know about including shoe adjustments specific to my issues. I live in Spring Hill, FL. Unfortunately I did not have a good visit with this doctor. I brought my legally blind 82yr old father in to have a ingrown toenail removed. My father also suffers with minor dementia and gets easily agitated at times. Especially if questions are repeated to him. After several questions, Dr. Chapel asked my father what was the date. My father got upset and asked what does that have to do with my foot? Don't ask me that. Dr Chapel became very unprofessional and said if you don't want to answer the question, you can leave. I tried to explain to the doctor that my dad has dementia and I'm over his care(POA), but he wouldn't listen and kept cutting me off. My father stated to him that we came to get his foot looked at and if the doctor didn't want to look at it, just let him know because there was no reason for him to get upset. He has the right to refuse to answer any question not pertaining to his care. Dr. Chapel abruptly put my fathers feet to the ground and said leave now. When I tried to ask him why he would get upset knowing my father's condition, he just left out of the room and kept saying he wanted us to leave now. I walked my dad out of the Dr's office wondering did he just not read my father's chart or is he just that quick tempered and rude. I can not recommend this Dr. with the care of anyone if he can read that a blind, dementia, 82yr old feeble man was suffering and walk in that office ready for a fight/argument. We don't need conditional professionalism. We deserve consistent professionalism and you and your loved ones do too. . read more

Find a different podiatrist! Staff is wonderful. Dr C is moody, arrogant and lacks professional courtesy. He appears to be more interested in trying to sell his very expensive (made to order) shoe inserts to 70-80 year old feet, that were not the reason we were seeing him. Plus, our feet were causing no pain walking. ??? So, we suggest finding a doctor that knows how to treat the patients for the reason they were being seen. Over the years, I guess his attitude hasn't improved. His reviews are certainly questionable. read more

My mother is 90 years old and suffering from Alzheimers. She had very bad sores on the heels of both feet. Dr. Chapel took his time to very carefully explain the best options for her. The appointments were always quick but very thorough. There was little to no waiting times when we arrived at the office. It's not always easy to deal with a person suffering from this disease but he made each visit the best that it could be. His treatments were 100 percent effective. I highly recommend him. read more

Worst doctor EVER! He not only insisted on assuming my daughter would need a pregnancy test as he made the comment of her appearance and age! Because I did t bring proof, ( although I repeatedly said she took a test and it was negative)he not only raised his voice, started the conversation with " SHOW me proof"but he proceeded to say that he would not be doing anything and he doesn't give a damn if I like it or not that we could leave!! Then he said to go get treated somewhere else! He then "threw" our chart at the front desk (I heard it) said they're dismissed! He then went to his office and slammed the door shut! Wow was a prick. Clearly a temper issue, he was borderline inappropriate with my daughter, disrespectful to me the mother! He is jerk to women and doesn't belong "servicing" people as he clearly treats them like shit! A complaint to the medical board was done and so will the BBB. DON'T GO THERE! read more

One of the worst doctors I have ever had!! That says a lot as I am an RN who has worked with hundreds of physicians over my career. It was difficult to squeeze me, him AND his ego into an exam room. Dr. Chapel did a decent job with removing part of an ingrown toenail however his "bedside" manner is atrociously abrasive...he is quick to place blame on the patient for their condition. He was unprofessional always referring to me as "kid" (I am a 45 year-old woman). I had another problem with the same foot which was causing me a great deal of pain and immobility. Dr. Chapel repeatedly told me I needed pain management AFTER I told him, and I wrote in my chart, that I am a recovering opiate addict. His other suggestions were laser treatment in his office at $50 a pop 3x/week for 6 weeks (=$900) or surgery. He suggested surgery before even ordering an MRI which he did upon my request. The MRI was not approved by my insurance as it required a peer to peer consultation to prove medical necessity. This phone call was to be initiated by the doctor. After a month, Dr. Chapel still had not contacted my carrier. By this point I am three months in with no pain relief including 2 failed cortisone shots. He continued to tell me I needed pain management!! I left the practice disgusted and unsure of which direction to go next. A medical assistant at my PCP's office suggested Dr. Adamov (Adamov Podiatry) and I have to say from minute one in the door I knew I was in the right place. Professional staff and professional, compassionate doctor...phew! Dr. Adamov immediately performed an ultrasound in his office and ordered physical therapy which included laser treatment at NO COST to me. I continue to go to PT at Regional Rehab (they are INCREDIBLE) and have laser each visit. I am finally seeing some improvement. I just got the phone call that my MRI, now ordered by Dr. Adamov, is approved and scheduled for tomorrow, Amen. Looking forward to finding out the real reason for my pain and having it fixed so I can get back to my active lifestyle. A word to the wise...stay away from Chapel Podiatry! After my poor experience I have heard many like stories throughout the nursing community. Wish I would have checked him out first. read more

Worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. Rating 1= great, 10 = worst Pompous 10 Arrogant 10 Argumentative 10 Courtesy 0 People skills 0 Had an ingrown toe nail removed. Answering questions and passing along information seemed to be on a need to know basis and I didn't need to know. The nail was sent to the lab to check for infection, and a week later I get a call from a drug company saying the doctor recommends I get this prescription for $140.00. His office didn't call with any info. So I'm supposed to take the word of a company I never heard of? I do my 2 week follow up, he asks if I got the drug, I ask for generic brand, he says his drug is the best and refuses to argue with me about it. Walks me to the front desk tells the receptionist I'm discharged. No prescription. Today I get a letter telling me if I have a problem in the next 15 days to call and they will see that it's taken care of, after that, basically, don't come back. Wouldn't give any stars but have to to post review. read more

New patient forms are typed in teeny tiny font on several pages and some of the questions are poorly written. Waiting room is small and very noisy because there is just tile flooring, with a TV adding to the noise. When I am waiting in a doctor's office, I really don't need something to make me anxious. Staff is very good, but doctor's bedside manner is poor. Here's the worst part: he recommended antifungal products THAT HE JUST HAPPENDS TO SELL, INSTEAD OF LETTING YOU KNOW THEY ARE AVAILABLE FOR LESS MONEY AT DRUG STORES! Tried to sell me other foot products. My fault; I should have challenged that. Lesson learned. read more
