The staff is friendly and I never really have to wait very long when my appointment time is scheduled. Today I saw Dr. Panas, he is such a extremely handsome doctor! Sorry I had to put that in there cause he is. Anyway, he went through my MRI and explained everything about my knee and the process so well that I understood 100% what he was saying. I find all the doctors there to be pretty good at their job. There's one that I will not see and that would be Dr. Bennett because of a past experience years ago. But I do highly recommend the Center For Bone And Joint Disease they take care of you and everything is like a one stop shopping type thing they do it all there. And no, I don't have any pictures because I don't think it's allowed to take pictures of people inside the doctors office.

I can't say enough about what excellent physicians/surgeons are in this practice. The staff are all right on top of things, are kind and efficient. The medical personnel are caring and assure that you have what you need. My husband and I drive over 2 hours to see Dr. Raposo. He has referred us to Dr. Mijic, Dr. Reyhar and Dr. Ngyen, and we have been very happy with them too. So far between my husband and I, we have had knee replacements, shoulder replacement, hip replacement and multiple injections and treatments. I was in the medical field for over 45 years, so I know who is good and who is just blowing smoke! I don't know why I haven't reviewed them sooner but after seeing a physician in my local area and realizing the difference in care and consideration, I knew I needed to review them.

Michelle, in a very abrasive tone told me my insurance is not in network, I will have copay and service fees, that she spent over an hour to try to figure out how to bill and that it was a curtesy?! I questioned her behavior, she elevated the encounter and suggested the I see a different surgeon. Without the whole story...Nicole, office manager called and gave a speech that also suggested I should seek a different surgeon. After 10 minutes of her accusations and aggressive behavior I applauded her ask asked if I could speak on my behalf, without success!! This experience prompted me to cancel my appointment in anticipation of ever having to interact with this miserable staff again. What would Dr Katz think if he knew how horrible the staff that he trusts on his front line??

We went to Duke University Spine Center, which did not help at all. We then went to Mayo Clinic, who performed a vertibroplasty, which was successful in reducing his pain by about 20%. He was still in chronic horrible pain and on high doses of pain pills just to semi-function. When we first saw Dr Bonati, he reviewed the MRIs, talked to us at length about my husband's pain and prior treatments then said 'I can fix you'. I cried! He had multiple surgeries, each with marked improvement. After his last procedure, my husband who could not walk 50 feet some days was able to rejoin the Sheriff's Office, passing all of the physical requirements with ease. We just returned to Bonati in December to address sciatic pain...once again 100% success. Took 7 days to complete 3 procedures because he caused a "bleeder" on the first day and had to rest in bed for 2 full days before number 2, then the weekend, and number 3 on Monday. Bonati said we could come back in a couple of months to finish. Overcharged us $20,000 and now won't even respond to the lawyer. After months of PT, I still can't walk; actually worse than before any procedures. Good luck, you'll need it.

He has a great personality too. The office is clean. The ladies at the window are busy and not too sociable. But I'm not here for a friendly conversation. All in all, so far my experience with the CENTER FOR Bone and JOINT DISEASE has been great. (Just leave Bennett out of my care)
