I made an appointment…read moreas a new patient, arrived 15 minutes early, as requested, and after waiting for an hour 15 minutes past my appointment time I left explaining to the front desk staff that I couldn't wait any longer. I don't appreciate my time not being respected, as Dr expect theirs to be respected. Also, as I waited, I heard every word of the conversation the Dr had with the patient in the room next to mine. The walls are paper thin and the Dr talks very loud. I learned that the patient in the next room didn't have an appointment but the Dr "squeezed" her into his schedule. I'm glad he felt he could do that but clearly at my expense!!! After the patient left, the Dr did his dictation for her chart in the hall for all to hear and then talked about the patient with his nurse for all to hear. I value my privacy and wouldn't go back even if the staff called to reschedule, which they did no so. If this Dr values his patients, you would think the front desk staff would have called me trying to reschedule my appointment. I would not recommend this office to anyone!

However, I…read moretried making a new patient appointment and was refused because I will not give out my social security number. I am a self-pay patient which has never been an issue anywhere else as payment is usually taken at check-in. I have had my identity stolen in the past and explained this and they refuse to schedule without my social. I think this just shows how their main concern is the ability to send someone to collections. That can be avoided by collecting the payment up front like every other specialist I have seen as a self-pay patient.
