I came to town and had time to burn and called them last minute. Most places needed booking well in advance to even consider even a private lesson. Lisa, who I assume runs the day to day, did everything she could to get me my time and luckily she was able to work some magic both with the instructor and at the range. While I don't advise doing the above, both for Lisa's sanity and yours, best believe I'm grateful she made things happen. Down to the lesson - ultimately i'd say Mike knows his sh*t and then some. I went specifically to get more training and info on shooting from a draw and basics in general (ie proper grip, sight picture, follow up, etc). Any and all questions i wanted on the finer points Mike had the patience and enthusiasm to answer. Even more so while the stuff above can be found on youtube, you cant put a price on a seasoned hand that will guide you in a way only you need. We just completed a…read morefall class and brought two friends, one with quite a bit of experience and another with very little experience. All of us had a great time. The instructors are excellent and intuitive in their coaching. To be completely transparent, for those who have not taken a definitive handgun course, the training can be very intimidating at the start, but there is much reward for sticking with the training. There is a broad range of experience among those who attend training. Regardless of experience level, everyone will be sufficiently challenged and find a great group of people.
