At the end of the day, a gun store is a gun store. What sets this place apart from the others is the staff. As a newbie in the firearm world, I had visited other gun stores and I felt like the new kid in school looking for a place to sit at lunch. Some of the other gun shop staff seemed to kinda snicker at my questions and write me off a little bit. When I walked into Freedom Firearms, the smell was the same as the other shops I had been to, but the air was definitely different. Everyone was so nice. I made it very clear that I was a newbie and instead of getting eye rolls, I got excitement from the staff. One of the staff members even remarked, "Welcome to Freedom buddy!" I was genuinely shocked. They answered every question I had. Even some questions I asked twice and even annoyed myself. But they didn't seem annoyed at all. They answered politely and even confirmed some answers from other staff members. They insisted that I hold all the newbie friendly guns just to get a feel and thoroughly explained the differences between this gun or that gun. I settled on the glock 19 gen 6 and they went through all different ammo for range, home defense, etc. I remarked at another customer who was holding a bad ass looking gun. They explained that it was an AR. And even though I'm not in that league yet and they had already made the sale with me, they still took the time to show me some AR's and how they work. Just an overall incredible first time experience. The range they referred me to was great as well. Just as friendly and really informative. 6 weeks after owning my first firearm, I am now the owner of 3 firearms and I will be picking up my first AR soon!
