By the end of the weekend, I found myself right back at Tulle on Sunday to purchase my dream dress. Melissa and Donna were absolutely incredible. They listened carefully to everything I shared about what I liked and didn't like with every dress I tried on. Then, almost like magic, they pulled out the perfect dress for me. It was everything I didn't even realize I was looking for. On top of that, they allowed me to make a few small customization changes to make it even more perfect, something I didn't even know was possible. Not only did I find an amazing dress, but they made me feel like a beautiful bride throughout the entire process. Their level of customer service is truly unmatched. From the way they assisted with trying on dresses and the thoughtful detail of laying the dresses so I could simply step into them, pull them up, and call them in when I was ready to be zipped and handing dresses through the curtain without exposing me to the world when I was changing--it made the entire experience feel comfortable, seamless, and special. Another thing I loved was that I was able to walk through the racks and pull any dresses I wanted to try on, which many other shops didn't allow. It made the experience feel relaxed and collaborative instead of pressured. And finally--the prices. They are incredible in the best possible way. Beautiful gowns at prices that honestly felt too good to be true. We were greeted and was asked what we wanted and we would get a sales person to help us with picking out dresses. Quite similar to Yes To The Dress television show. The store was busy with young ladies looking for prom dresses. Some dresses on racks were readily available and others had to be ordered. Our sales lady was very attentive to our needs. After dresses were picked out, she escorted us to a fitting room and helped take dresses off the hanger and help zip up the dresses. The dresses were pretty , expensive in my opinion. The ones we tried on were $400 to $600 and of course needed some alterations if we wanted them shortened. Alterations were done elsewhere. I did not like most of the dresses shown for myself as they were very matronly looking with heavy beaded material. When customers bought a dress, an announcement was made : "she said yes to the dress" and staff and customers clapped. Just my daughter ended buying a lovely dress. My granddaughter and I would have to look elsewhere to buy a fancy dress. I personally prefer high end department store dresses that carry styles that I prefer.

My recommendation for any bride who wants to go here would be to check out the website and to read some other reviews to know what to expect when you arrive, and you will have a much better experience. It seems most of the bad reviews are either based on things that are blatantly stated on their website or about Vito himself. He does have a strong personality so be prepared for that, but he was very kind and respectful the whole time I was there. They open at 9am, but will let you in early! If you don't want to have to wait for other brides to finish, go around 8:20-8:30 to be the first ones in. There is a small fee to try on dresses which is stated on their website, but it does go to towards the price of the dress you buy, so it's kind of like a deposit for their time in my opinion. I work in an industry where deposits are the norm so this didn't feel weird to me, especially because it is stated ahead of time. When you arrive- they will measure your waist. This is also stated on their website, AND there is a sign in the lobby that says you can ask to be measured in the back if you wish. Vito also asked if I would be okay with him measuring my waist in the lobby, which I was completely fine with. *He does not say your measurements out loud* He sees what size you are and assigns you a color hanger/section of the store to look for dresses in. I felt like this was very body positive and inclusive and it made me feel confident choosing dresses because I knew they would fit me well. They do ask that you keep your time there to an hour so don't plan to spend your whole afternoon there. It's such a busy place that this is also just out of respect for other brides coming in so they can try on dresses too. Their process of pulling dresses onto a clothes rack for you and taking them all to the dressing room at once is very efficient so it helps the time constraint. I tried on 3 times the amount of dresses than I tried at David's bridal in the same amount of time without feeling rushed. I think going to a store like David's bridal first helped me realize what a great experience I had at Jillian's. Davids didn't even pull the correct dresses I asked for and I didn't feel like I received one on one attention with my consultant like I did at Jillian's. I also felt like their dresses were MUCH better quality than anything I tried at David's. In the end- I had an amazing time, I felt like their dress were beautiful and high end, they had a VERY large selection, and they even thought of the little details that make a day like this even more special. They offer complimentary snacks and drinks, they have blingy belts and beautiful veils you can try on, and they cheer you on, celebrate you, and ring bells when you say yes to the dress! Today made me really feel like a bride and I can't stop smiling at how in love I am with my dress!

I went to Fabulous Frocks last Saturday as the first of four bridal appointments that day. I was…read morewith my mom, who came in for the weekend from out of town, so I was really hoping that we could nail down some options for the dress to ultimately purchase. Fabulous Frocks is a consignment bridal store that carries both bridal and bridesmaid dresses. They sell once-worn and off the rack designer gowns sent in from either designers or other local boutiques. Because of their concept, they're able to offer great quality dresses at discounted prices. I worked with Amanda that day and she was very helpful. After trying on a few dresses, she pulled a few more after noting the elements that I liked. With each dress, she pointed out the details of the dress, including any imperfections, and helped me picture what it would look like bustled, etc. which all helped me make my decision. I ended up finding the one - it was the first one I tried and kept going back to :) - and cancelled the rest of my day so I could spend it doing other fun things with my mom. I had a great experience at Fabulous Frocks and would recommend anyone in the bridal market to take a look here before making their final decision.

Faboulous Frocks was the 3rd store we visited, and I ended up coming back the same day to purchase the dress I tried on. I was not sure what to expect, since it looked like it was a consignment bridal shop. The name "consignment" did not do it justice, because every dress I tried on was gorgeous. I was also able to order the dress I tried on brand new (I had the option to buy the one off the rack, but since I am getting married in October I did not feel pressured to take that one home right away.) Amanda and her team are amazing, and I think in the end their customer service is what made me select them over some of the other dresses I had in mind.

However, that could not be further from the truth. Monica is not only so welcoming and kind, but she is also extremely knowledgeable about all things bridal gowns. She selected the perfect array of dresses for me to try on. I ended up picking the first dress I tried on and was done purchasing my dress within an hour!
