I went with my daughter and grandaughter to look for some formal party dresses as well as for myself. We were greeted and was asked what we wanted and we would get a sales person to help us with picking out dresses. Quite similar to Yes To The Dress television show. The store was busy with young ladies looking for prom dresses. Some dresses on racks were readily available and others had to be ordered. Our sales lady was very attentive to our needs. After dresses were picked out, she escorted us to a fitting room and helped take dresses off the hanger and help zip up the dresses. The dresses were pretty , expensive in my opinion. The ones we tried on were $400 to $600 and of course needed some alterations if we wanted them shortened. Alterations were done elsewhere. I did not like most of the dresses shown for myself as they were very matronly looking with heavy beaded material. When customers bought a dress, an announcement was made : "she said yes to the dress" and staff and customers clapped. Just my daughter ended buying a lovely dress. My granddaughter and I would have to look elsewhere to buy a fancy dress. I personally prefer high end department store dresses that carry styles that I prefer. read more

I came to bedazzled on a whim and feeling discouraged after my previous experience, just hoping to maybe find something I liked. My daughter and her friend went into the Gastonia store to look at and try on wedding dresses. Now they didn't know that they had to make an appointment, but the lady that waited on them was totally rude and treated them like they were some broke ladies. They did not even consider helping them, instead that told them there was a 25.00 fee which was no problem at all and there was a sign that said walk-ins welcome, but that wasn't true. They told them that they could check out other dress shops, rude as heck. Now if they wanted to, they could have paid cash for any of the ugly dresses in your shop, but you won't ever get their business, and I will go out of my way to make sure that you don't get a lot of business at all. read more

This place was very disappointing..my son picked up his tux and was NEVER told to try it on before leaving and the night before his wedding when he did, the jacket was too small. I called them that next morning..the day of the wedding and got a very nasty attitude from the lady who answered the phone and was pretty much told there was nothing they could do. My son had to wear a tux jacket that was to small for his wedding so needless to say this place is horrible and we will never do anything here again....Sorry not sorry. My friend (aka my lil sis) and I were looking for a Bridal boutique that had a great selection of wedding attire within a budget and something out of the ordinary. We made and appointment with Bedazzled Bridal and we're greeted by Jo-Jo and her "cowboy boots," she was sweet, funny, knowledgeable and absolutely knew her stuff. She made us feel very comfortable and took our vision very serious when she selected dresses to try on. Within 30 minutes we found the dress that was "the one" and within budget! To compliment their bride, they have hair accessories, jewelry, vails, men's formal wear as well as bridesmaids and mother or the bride attire. Not sure what happened but our experience was not great. {On the day my daughter selected the dress or the day we picked it up.} Their website states walk ins are welcome. We arrived well before closing on a week day and were the only ones there. At first everything seemed great but then I felt like we were wearing out our welcome (even though a preferred time limit was never told to us - we would have very much respected it). I picked up on it when the lady helping us made a comment to another employee that she would just add another X amount of minutes (they have timers on the wall outside the dressing rooms) in an exasperated tone and then seemed to rush the rest of our time there. We weren't the ones pulling or asking for more dresses, the lady assisting us was. Finally after my daughter selected her wedding dress the "Is this THE dress?" special moment in the larger room felt like "it's about time they got done" and a rush out the door like it was closing time and they had been waiting on us to leave feeling. (They were still open for at least 2 1/2 more hours.) The day of pick-up was very busy with prom season and we didn't expect much but the whole experience again felt like we were being a bother. I wish I would have encouraged my daughter to try the shop in our hometown and not have allowed myself to be caught up in the moment and at least thought about it a day or two before actually purchasing from here. read more

They screwed up 5 different fittings for the groomsmen and groom. Even down to 2 days before the wedding the best man's suit did not fit on his 2nd fitting. The bridesmaids dresses came in the wrong color. The only positive from this situation was they didn't charge a late fee when we didn't get back in time the day after the wedding. read more

Gorgeous selection and rude customer service. My partner brand and I were coming in to talk about having this establishment be a part of our event. We were greeted by a young girl very nice and politely. She asked us to have a seat and she would have a manager come talk with us when he got a chance. Well, heres where the downfall happened. He came up and said "What do you all want,I'm busy" verbatim. Shocked we proceed to give our spill and hes just like nope nope cant do that nope. and just looking at us all panicky like hurry up. so he cuts us off and says nope I cant do that and have a great day. Gos back over to the customer and says sorry they wasted my time now I'm back. To have such a gorgeous store and an amazing array of a selection never expected to get treated like a 2nd class human being. What an experience!!! The staff there are super helpful and very nice! And let's talk about the quality and quantity of dresses size 0-32! My niece was able to "Say Yes" to her prom dress! This was my first of many bridal stores that I had checked out so I was not quite sure what to expect. Looking back, this was not a great experience. When shopping for a wedding gown, you should be made to feel special because it is a very important (and pricey) decision. When I first arrived at my appointment time, I was very excited to hopefully find my dream dress. I was asked to wait in a room with my guests, which I did not mind, but then 10 minutes had passed, and then almost 20 minutes had passed...We were wondering if we had been forgotten. The lady who ended up helping me eventually came over and asked me several questions about the type of dress that I was looking for. This made me excited again as I started picturing my dream dress. However, as soon as I finished describing my wedding and ideal wedding dress, the sales rep just told us to go ahead and start looking for any dresses that looked appealing. She did not make any suggestions based on what I had told her. It was a complete waste of time discussing my preferences. Once I had several dresses to start trying on, I walked back to the dressing room with the sales rep, who stayed in the very small changing room with me as I changed. It felt so awkward with her just standing there, watching me as I changed. Furthermore, since it was such a small space, should would try to keep only a couple dresses in the room at a time and removed ones that I did not like, but she would remove the dresses WHILE I WAS PRACTICALLY NAKED, waiting for her to return with more dresses so I could try on the next dress. I don't know why she couldn't swap out the dresses while I had a dress on instead. It was a very small space to view the dress and take photos. The sales rep still did not offer any suggestions for other dresses to try on. They did not seem bothered at all that I did not find a dress to my liking. Overall, prices are high, staff is not caring, and they will leave you hanging with email inquires. read more

If you ever need a place to go for a formal dress this is the BEST place to go! Yes they are a bit pricey BUT it's worth it!! If you are looking for a prom dress PREFECT PLACE!! You are guaranteed that you will be the only person with that dress on at your prom. They keep a list and will NOT let anyone from your school get the same dress. The staff was very nice and helpful. The have plenty of dresses to choose from including wedding dress and wedding party dresses. They have a layaway plan, which you only have to put 30% down and I think you get one month to pay for it. Which is good. I'm very pleased and so was my daughter. PLEASE NOTE This is my ONLY DOWN SIDE to this store: for prom dresses they will not let you take a photo of the dress when trying them on. Which was a WOW factor, especially when you have NO family that lives in the same state and you want them to see the dresses and to be part of this process as much as possible. I ended having to FaceTime on of my family members. Which made my sister very upset because she could not even see the dress. Having the only girl in your family, prom shopping is VERY special to us. My daughter's wedding is in December. Groomsmen got fitted for tuxedos and were told that if stores were to close due to COVID that they would not get their tuxedos. Neither would they get their money back. There is something very wrong with this picture. They will not get there tux but also will lose the money they put down! We went to get sized it was a long wait and then when we got things picked out and tried on we were requested to leave deposit which we did after that we had to go back a second time because our assistant had another appointment to be measured once measured was told dresses would arrive in 6 - 8 weeks we picked up and when my dress was tried on at alteration place it was 3 inches big on each side so my alterations cost 130.00 dollars for their mistake. On top of this we were overcharged and would not have known until we all looked at each others receipts that showed 5% off on some and 10% off on others. read more

I got my tuxedos here for my wedding back in May. They had a good selection and the tuxedos were in great shape. They were very helpful when explaining the different options available and processing the order. The prices are very reasonable for tuxedos today. We dished out some humor while we were there, and both the staff and the manager reacted favorably. oh, if you are getting tuxedos, know that they do not offer free tie bow ties for rent (the kind you have to tie). They only offer the clip on for rent. I thought this was odd at first, but they explained that it is very difficult to tie a bow tie, and that most of them would likely be sloppy if they were free tied. Since I wanted to free tie my own, I purchased one from them and attempted the process. After 8 hours of practice and some help, I was able to tie a nice looking bow tie. I highly doubt other members of the event will be willing to spend this much effort at learning to tie a bow tie, so I strongly recommend renting clip ons. read more

My friend who's getting married this September and I came to this store last month to try on some wedding dresses. Our stylist was Ariel. She was friendly and helpful. She took the time to let me try on wedding dresses as well since I told her that I wanted to see what they offered and I wanted to see if this place would be worth it to come back with a few of my bridal party when I'm ready to buy a wedding dress. I feel like I would come back and I'll tell my fiance to check out the suits that they offered since I got to look at the suits also. My only reason for not giving a 5 stars was I kind of felt like some staff weren't that friendly or made me feel welcoming but I guess we'll see when I come back if I'll change my rating. read more

I went to the dress shop in Jan 2018 and was sized for my dress and the stylist told me to get a size 12 due to my measurements and when the dress came back it didn't fit. My measurements where re-taken and they where still the same. I asked what could they do and they told me they couldn't do anything so am stuck with a $1400 dress that I cant wear for my wedding. I am so happy I got my wedding dress at Bedazzled! I had literally gone to every other bridal salon in the Charlotte area and just hadn't found "the dress". Every other salon I went to had lackluster consultants that could even be condescending at times, but not here. I had Jenny and she was so kind and thoughtful! I ended up ordering my dress a size too big and called into the store first thing in the morning after I bought it to see if it could be changed. Jenny went out of her way to change it without being rude or dismissive and my dress turned out perfectly! The manager was also super kind and made me feel like he truly valued my business. I will admit I always get anxiety when I need to get a bridesmaids dress because of some horrible past experiences with rude staff but I had an amazing experience here! The wedding I am in is out of state and the bride gave me a couple of dresses to choose from out of the Alfred Angelo collection. Before I even set foot in the store I had been greeted with a warm smile and a hello. Everyone I encountered was EXTREMELY helpful and kind. Something that I thought was going to take a long time only took about a half hour and although it got a little busy I never felt rushed or neglected. They have a very large selection of affordable dresses but if your looking for a warm welcoming experience this is not the place. One person allowed in fitting area and there are only metal chairs in the show room to sit where you fill out paperwork. Kind of sucks all the fun out of the experience. I give them no stars Not even 1/2 a star. My daughters wedding is in two weeks, 4 out of 5 dresses that came back were 2 to 4 sizes larger than the girls were. It is nearly impossible to take up a dress that is 4 sizes too big. It will have to remade. Having said that Cynthia the Manager and Rog the Owner did not care or offer any assistance to make things right with the dresses. These dresses are costing an additional 100.00 to 150.00 depending on how much work to take them up. Insane and very wrong for a business to treat their clients with no respect or kindness when they were in the wrong on measurements in the first place. Too much of a coincidence for 95% of what was ordered for the wedding was way over sized!!!!!!! I even asked Cynthia Manager if she mind if I turned them into BBB.
