But the room was marginally clean. Peeling paint, visible dust on hangers, musty smell. The bed sheets even had a visible stain. Rust had taken over the curtain holder. It had a microwave but it was disgusting. TV remote crusty and covered with tape to hold it together. We were lucky that the price was very low through Agoda, it would be maddening to pay $80 to $100 for a hotel like this. Sadly the hotel down the street has equally low reviews and expectations. I'd recommend just going to Portsmouth for a hotel unless you absolutely must stay in Wheelersburg.
