Other products available include dried cod, fresh fish, shellfish and seafood, home made products, salted herbs and capers. Seriously a seafood lover's dream! On my visit I ended up purchasing a nice huge piece of fresh Atlantic Halibut, a nice container of fresh Matane shrimp and a sugar pie. Prices are very reasonable for the area and seafood is freshly brought out of the water!

The place: These guys primarily sell cheese but you can also purchase a few other goods as well. It's not very big and the layout makes it so it can be a little cramped if the place is full. The goods: Everyone stops here on their way to and from Québec's North Shore - at least that's what I was led to believe on both my trips to and from Tadoussac! And for good reason - this is the place to get our beloved curd cheese because not only is it delicious, but it's super fresh! There are so many people who stop in that I don't think these guys have anything left at the end of the day. This time around, I also got butter. Mmmm butter.... it's creamy and delicious and I'm kicking myself for not getting two bars. Yum. Service: Friendly. Price point: Pretty good! The first time, I bought a big bag of curds and I think it was about 8.75. This time, I got the small bag + a brick of butter and the cost was under $9. The price of the cheese is, I believe, less than what you pay in a grocery store.

Despite a sign on the door that said a maximum of two people could enter at a time (COVID), there were several people in there when we stopped by. The goods: After reading all the hype, I expected to be blown away but the chocolatine I had was average and didn't blow me away. The selection was OK but there didn't seem to be a lot of variety. Service: Meh. The person who served me wasn't exactly friendly and didn't seem interested in answering basic questions. The experience was rather disappointing. We had to stop to get gas on our way back home, as the car needed it. We stopped at the gas pump, and there were no instructions to pay. Also, there were no places to put your bank card in and pay direct. As a true Montrealer, l go into the store to pay before pumping. After waiting 10 minutes in line, l get to the cash to learn we had to pump first, and then pay. So l go pump. Once this is done, l go back into the store and had to wait another 15 minutes before reaching the cash register. Now l was mixed with people paying groceries, which is why it took so long. Once l arrived at the cash, l hear one of the girls scream that if you only have gas, you can go to another cash to pay quicker. If l knew that before... All of this would gave been avoided with CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS!!! Very frustrating stop. Lost 30 minutes of my time. Covid restrictions: Social distancing in store not respected. No cleaning of cash area after usage. Plexiglasses are up. Cleaning area at entrance. Masks not obligatory.
