I love this place. I have never gotten my hair professionally done before and Lord knows u could tell , it was just so damaged. Amy was my hair dresser ( bless her heart ) and she is amazing. Not only was she Patient and kind she was so informative.. She took the time to explain the damage and also made sure I got products to revive the damage. Connie has been cutting my hair for about 15 years now. She never disappoints. I have curly/wavy hair and she always gets it right. I never have trouble styling it at home because I get a great cut. Macaria does my pedicures and she does an excellent job. Jen and Danielle are also excellent. They have done my pedicures too on occasion. The entire staff is wonderful and friendly. Coming here has been my salvation during this pandemic. They follow all protocols and are very professional. It's a little oasis during this very challenging time when we are supposed to limit our contact with others. They are a full service salon and offer anything you need. read more

I love Charise's Salon! I've been seeing Connie (one of their hairdressers) for about 20 years, and would follow her to any studio. She's been at Charise's for about 10 years, and I love this location. My entire wedding party had their hair done at this salon the morning of our wedding, and I even had my make-up done. I suggested this hair salon to one of my best friends, a bride, that grew up in the area but wanted suggestions on places for our hair to be done for her big day. The bride and 4 bridesmaids sent in pictures the week before to show out stylists what we were interested in for the day. After sending 2 picture into the phone number provided, I was ready to go with a textured bun. Upon that day, I directed the stylist 3+ times on how to manage my hair. (I have never had hair problems before, including the wedding I was in just 25 days before) After directing and asking multiple questions, my hair was done. I looked like George Washington with hair puffed up but pulled back just tight enough to shape my face to look more masculine. She asked if it was okay and I told her it was a textured bun. About 5 minutes before leaving, I went up to the stylists that completed the bride's look and communicated with our party the most. I told her that I was extremely unsatisfied with my hair, but this day was not about my wants and I was not trying to cause attention because the bride had high anxiety already. I also let the woman know that I would not be tipping my stylist for the day. Once we arrived at the venue, another bridesmaid took my hair down and curled it, re-bobby pinning it to the top of my head. Unfortunately, work and life became incredibly hectic and I did not reach out to Charise right after the wedding. After about 10 days, I called and spoke to Charise herself about my disappointment in the service. She said, "Thank you for sharing with me. I will get back to you." A week later I called and it was her day off. Now, a week AFTER that, I called and said I had not heard from her and she said, "Well you called last week on my day off" Yes, yes Charise I did. But you said you would reach out to me....moving on. Charise's response was that she could not refund because Julie was the one that paid. (Julie paid and we paid her) I agreed, but asked that she pay Julie the $50 spent on the updo that was undone. She said she needed Julie to contact her. I told her I was sorry she ran her business in such a way to not satisfy customers. She said she was not sorry that was how she ran her business. She also had told me she saw pictures of the wedding and my hair was 'beautiful'. Which I then told her it was redone by a party member so I didn't look like a colonial, presidential candidate in a powdered wig. Which also should not weigh as heavy to her because I was expressing that it was not what I wanted or asked for of the stylist in which she was defending. All in all, I would not suggest going to this salon for updos, I don't know if I'd trust them to satisfy a haircut either. Yes 3 bridesmaids went in, 2 came out unhappy with their hair. I used a box color on my head & my hair turned like the color of a penny.I was given to a really nice girl & I told her please do anything that will take the orange color completely out of my hair.I had Christmas pictures coming up & NewYears was coming up.I saved for this & with my $ my mom left me before she passed.She put blonde in it and the orange penny was just streaked now & very noticeable.I bought product from them & went & spent $45.00 on shampoo she recommended.I cried.I called & was told she would charge my $35.00 & fix it.It wasn't $35.00 it was $75.00 She recommended making my whole head Ash blonde & I was for it.She said no orange would be around.As she dried it she said that is a cool violet. WTH does that have to do with light ash she said would work?I called Charisse herself & do you think I would be offered my $75.00 in tips back? No,stupid of me,the girl was funny,but it was Christmas.Charisse said no I couldn't see anyone else that it had to be the same girl. Who does that?I am out a great deal of money,maybe $400.00 I missed Holiday pictures & I was HUMILIATED! People asked me what would make me want to go with a rust color hair?She was unprofessional & I cannot repeat holidays & it has ran into my Birthday in late January & it has been dried out as well. Please think again if you want your hair cared for & a owner to even return my large tips during Christmas with lighting being bad. My mom wished for me to look pretty on a date & I have never felt more unattractive.I went there for years for my hair & spent so much $ with my fiancé when she had tanning beds. I've known Charise since her days before owning her own shop and she's done my hair on and off for many years! She's amazing! And her talent far exceeds hair itself, she's also amazing at choosing the best in the business to work for and with her as well! Michele is new to me in the past year and I absolutely love her.
